Journalist Pete O’Rourke has shed light on whether he expects Archie Gray to still be at Tottenham Hotspur next season after a number of elite clubs entered the race for the midfielder.
Spurs Web has relayed several reports suggesting that top Premier League and European clubs are circling over Tottenham’s young starlets, as the Lilywhites stand on the brink of relegation.
One of those is Archie Gray, who is on the radar of six different clubs, according to a recent update in the British media.
It has been revealed that the 20-year-old, who is valued at over £60m, is on the radars of Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
Tottenham will be confident of keeping Archie Gray under one condition
The young midfielder has been one of the rare shining lights of what has been a campaign to forget for the Lilywhites.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has suggested that Spurs want to build around Gray and asserted that they will be confident of hanging onto the youngster as long as they remain in the Premier League.
When asked about the speculation over the former Leeds man, O’Rourke told Football Insider: “If Tottenham stay in the Premier League, I’m sure they’ll be confident they can keep hold of Archie Gray. He’s under a long-term contract until 2030 and is still only 20-years-old despite having played so many games.

Spurs want to hold onto Gray even if they go down
This report comes just less than a week after TEAMtalk claimed that Tottenham consider Gray and two other midfielders untouchable this summer, even if they get relegated.
The outlet claimed that the Lilywhites want to avoid a fire sale even if they fail to stay in the top flight, and believe that the England U21 international could help them in their quest to bounce back up.
