Tottenham must push limits for star who gives defenders ‘headaches’ amid Oscar Bobb latest
Tottenham’s attacking targets are being narrowed down ahead of the closing stages of the January transfer window.
Thomas Frank’s future at Spurs is still in doubt, but the reality is that the Lilywhites still need to progress with transfers this month.
Tottenham have a long list of attacking options that have been shortlisted, as Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb appeared to be in Johan Lange’s thinking.
Mohammed Kudus’ new injury blow has added extra importance to Tottenham signing another right-winger this month, but Bobb now looks out of the question.
However, Lange does have a backup plan.

Tottenham to put gas on Maghnes Akliouche deal after Oscar Bobb exit talks
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, Fulham are advancing in a £35million deal to sign Bobb from Man City.
Bar a last-minute swoop from the Lilywhites, Spurs will probably need to look elsewhere in the coming days, with Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche almost certainly the man to go for.
Spurs have been heavily linked with Akliouche in recent weeks, as the winger continues to impress in Ligue 1 this season.
Monaco understands that the Lilywhites are interested in their prized possession, with reports suggesting that Tottenham have tracked the 23-year-old for some time.
However, the French side rates Akliouche highly, and it would take a big-money offer to tempt them into selling their asset.
Akliouche causes opponents nightmares
Kudus is set to be sidelined until April, which comes as a massive blow, particularly for Frank.
The Spurs boss has come under criticism for his attacking philosophy this campaign, and things have only seemed to click in the final third when Kudus has been playing.
The Lewis family could give Frank one final roll of the dice by bringing Akliouche on board, who has gained rave reviews in France.
Akliouche’s stats for Monaco last season (all competitions):
Monaco Tribune said that Akliouche gives defenders a “headache” when they play the winger, who has unpredictable “technical brilliance”.
The main attributes that he could bring to N17 are his dribbling and chance creation abilities. Spurs have missed a spark in attack for too long this season, and Akliouche poses a realistic and feasible transfer.
