Spurs need Conor Gallagher
They needed more quality and depth in the middle of the park, especially after the injury to Rodrigo Bentancur.
They are paying €40 million for Gallagher, and it will be interesting to see if he can make an immediate impact in the Premier League. He knows the league well and has impressed in the Premier League with Crystal Palace and Chelsea. There is no doubt that he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well at Tottenham. They have been long-term admirers of the midfielder, and they will be delighted to have secured an agreement to sign him.
Meanwhile, the move to the Premier League will be exciting for Gallagher as well. He has struggled for regular opportunities at the Spanish club, and he will look to get his career back on track with first-team action at Tottenham now.
