Tottenham Hotspur can have a rare moment of delight this season after Mikey Moore shone for Rangers once again.

The 18-year-old departed for Ibrox in the summer and was met with frustration in Glasgow due to his inexperience at senior level.

He has proven to be worth his weight in gold for the Scottish Premiership side with his performances stealing the show under Danny Rohl.

That has earned him the Scottish PFA Young Player of the Year award, raising the interest of everyone at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Moore continues to shine for Rangers, and with his latest heroics, Spurs will surely be delighted with the terms they offer the winger in the summer.

Mikey Moore scores again for Rangers vs Celtic

The teenager has seriously proven himself with the Gers this season, showing the Lilywhites what they have been missing.

He never really got a proper chance previously in N17, but has grabbed his opportunity in Scotland with both hands.

The number 47 has contributed to 10 goals across all competitions, including one against Celtic in Sunday’s Old Firm defeat.

The winger netted the opening goal after just nine minutes at Parkhead, scoring in the fierce derby for the second time this season.

That took his goal tally to double figures, which is no mean feat at 18 and should make for excellent reading in North London.

Moore has been a star for Rangers and is ready to shine at Tottenham, and is in a perfect contractual position to do so.

Tottenham did rare good work with Moore contract extension

There has been plenty of criticism aimed towards the North London club and their transfer activity in recent years.

That has engulfed the N17 outfit and has ultimately seen them drift down the table into a relegation battle.

Someone like Moore could certainly return and make a telling difference and luckily for the Lilywhites, they’ve tied him down to a long-term deal.

Before he truly proved himself at Rangers, he penned a five-year extension in North London, and that looks to be superb business right now.

The Englishman will be hoping that his Old Firm heroics have been noticed on Hotspur Way and that they can unlock a chance for him to shine in the Premier League next season.
