Archie Gray had a solid if not spectacular debut season at Tottenham after signing from Leeds United last summer.
The 19-year-old was thrown into action in the last campaign amid the London club’s growing injury crisis.
As a result, despite being a natural midfielder, Gray was often deployed as a makeshift defender to help combat absentees.
Nonetheless, Gray received praise for his performances last season as he went on to make 46 appearances in all competitions.

Now that July is here, many players across the Premier League still face uncertain futures.
MORE SPURS STORIES
Multiple clubs have stars who are now set to leave due to their contracts expiring at the end of June.
Tottenham said goodbye to Sergio Reguilon, who has now left the North London club as a free agent.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, newcomers Leeds United have also seen star man Junior Firpo depart at the end of his contract, despite him playing a key role last season.
As a result, the full-back took to Instagram (1 July) to reflect on his time at the Yorkshire club.
Gray, who played with Firpo during his time at Elland Road, commented on the post, stating: “Legend,” with a crying face and four heart emojis following.
Gray set for a big season under Frank
With Tottenham’s injury crisis unlikely to recur, Gray is set for a massive season under Frank and show how good he can become.
On top of the Premier League, Spurs will also be playing in the Champions League, which will give the midfielder a chance to shine on the big stage.
If Frank can utilise Gray properly, there is no reason why he can’t be a highly-important player for Tottenham this season.
Hopefully the Dane will give the midfielder game time to help him develop into a star as the 19-year-old’s potential is massive.
