Tottenham Hotspur star Gugliemo Vicario is 'fully open' to joining Inter Milan this summer just days after the arrival of Igor Tudor as interim manager, according to GIVEMESPORT senior reporter Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs' full focus right now is to avoid being sucked into a shock Premier League relegation battle, with a run of two wins in 17 matches leaving the club just two spots and five points above West Ham United in the bottom three.

Their poor form and the imminent visit of leaders Arsenal on Sunday led to Tottenham chiefs making a change of manager, with Tudor replacing Thomas Frank until the end of the season, when he too is expected to depart to be replaced by a different permanent manager.

Vicario Keen to Leave Tottenham With Thomas Frank

Gugliemo Vicario has been linked with a move back to Italy in recent months, and it seems as though it is a transfer that the Italy international wants to happen.

It has been reported in recent weeks that Inter are keen on the 29-year-old and he is tempted by the prospect of moving to the San Siro following previous spells playing in Serie A with Cagliari and Empoli.

Now Romano, speaking in his latest Italian YouTube video, has confirmed that Vicaro is 'fully open' to signing for Inter in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The journalist said:

Vicario is very high on Inter’s list.

There is total openness from Vicario towards Inter. He’s fully open to joining the Inter project.

Vicario came close to joining Inter before instead joining Tottenham just after the appointment of Ange Postecoglou.

While no talks have started yet between the two clubs, Inter are tipped to make a move for a new goalkeeper soon, with Yann Sommer expected to leave the San Siro at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Spurs Exodus Possible This Summer

Even if Tottenham remain in the Premier League, it is possible that Vicario is part of a mass exodus at Spurs this summer.

Randal Kolo Muani looks certain to return to Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his loan spell, while doubts remain over whether Joao Palhinha will stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after his temporary move from Bayern Munich.

Mathys Tel was keen on a Spurs exit during the January transfer window, while Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Lucas Bergvall are both attracting admiring glances from elsewhere.

Van de Ven is of interest to Liverpool, according to GMS sources.
