Tottenham have made a bright start to the new Premier League campaign in the last few weeks.
The Lilywhites began the season with two impressive wins in the opening two games, before their promising start was checked somewhat by a frustrating defeat to Bournemouth last time out.
Tottenham take on West Ham this weekend as they seek to return to winning ways after the international break, during which several of their stars represented their countries.
Thomas Frank has shown plenty of encouraging signs during his first assignments in the dugout in N17, and he looks set to face a big selection decision ahead of this weekend’s clash.

Djed Spence hailed amid Destiny Udogie comparison at Tottenham
Djed Spence has turned his career at Tottenham around in recent months, and his rise continued when he won his first senior England cap in their victory over Serbia on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old has reinvented himself as a left-back in N17, and that has seen him recover from being loaned out on several occasions to become an important part of the team.
Destiny Udogie has been sidelined with an injury until recently, but Spence’s performances have prompted questions as to whether he will even get back in the side after the latest round of internationals.
Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that the recent England recognition will continue to boost his confidence even further.
“He (Spence) has had setback after setback, and he’s shown so much resilience and strength to get to where he is now,” Wenham said.
“I put an X post out a couple of days ago saying, who would you pick as your starting left back if Udogie was fully fit and firing? Most people said Spence. So he’s done amazingly well. This England cap will only continue to boost his confidence.”
Thomas Frank to show faith in Djed Spence vs West Ham
Udogie has largely been excellent for Tottenham since his move from Udinese in 2023, and although he clearly has a big future ahead of him, Frank needs to stand by Spence and continue to show faith in him.
The Italian returned from his absence to come off the bench in the latter stages of the defeat to Bournemouth, but after Spence’s recent performances, it would be a hugely harsh decision from the boss if he were to lose his shirt.
The former Nottingham Forest star appears to be riding a wave of confidence at the moment, and there would certainly be a risk of damaging that by bringing Udogie back into the fold at the earliest opportunity.
Frank’s man-management at Brentford was strong, and he will need to keep both of his left-back options happy in the coming months.
