Eye-watering total Rodrygo transfer could cost as Tottenham submit mega-money bid
Tottenham are continuing to bolster their forward line this summer as they look to pursue a deal for Rodrygo.
Daniel Levy is keen to invest heavily this summer as Tottenham move on from last season’s disastrous Premier League campaign.
Spurs have already completed the £55million signing of Mohammed Kudus and are now looking to make a big-money move for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
Rodrygo will cost Tottenham £140million-plus in total
Tottenham’s desire to add to their attack hasn’t been hidden this summer.
Thomas Frank’s side were hot on the heels of Nottingham Forest for Morgan Gibbs-White. However, a deal failed to materialise after the East Midlands side blocked the deal.

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min is headed to America. As a result, there is even more reason to recruit in the final third of the pitch.
According to a report in Fichajes (4 August), Spurs have bid £87.1million for two-time UEFA Champions League winner, Rodrygo.
However, the total cost of any transfer would be far greater.
The 24-year-old is currently tied to a contract that runs until 2028, and the Madridistas are in no rush to sell.
Should he sign for Spurs, the Lilywhites are expected to match his current wage and tie him down to a potential five-year contract.
According to Capology, Rodrygo is on £240,000 a week in Spain, which comes to around £12.5m a year.
If you add what he earns over a potential five-year contract to the rumoured fee Tottenham would pay for the forward, it comes to an eye-watering £149.5million throughout his potential stay in North London.
Rodrygo would be a statement signing for Spurs
Frank has been quick to change things at Tottenham.
The Dane has already tightened up their defence and has also pushed Levy to back him this summer.
With Joao Palhinha arriving on loan, Tottenham have already solved their problem in midfield, and Rodrygo would take a huge weight off the current Spurs attack.
The Brazilian could help push Frank’s side back to where they belong in the Premier League and fight for the top four again.
