Tottenham’s latest move for Igor Tudor as interim manager has sparked an immediate reaction among supporters of the north London club.
Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be looking to wrap up their managerial search by Monday, a few days before the north London derby.
It is understood that instead of appointing a permanent manager, Spurs are opting for a short-term interim boss.
But that search could well be nearing its end, as Tottenham are said to have offered a five-month contract to Igor Tudor. The former Juventus boss has already accepted Spurs’ terms and appears to be inching closer to an arrival in N17.
Tottenham fans react as Spurs offer Igor Tudor short-term contract
Igor Tudor has managed both Juventus and Marseille; however, his time in Serie A was brief, lasting just seven months.
Spurs fans, well aware of this latest report, have now shared their reaction on the social media platform X.
Responding to the links, one fan said: “I do not understand who people want? I have no idea who this guy is but we are not getting Klopp or Alonso as an interim… any manager coming to this shit show is going to struggle, not to mention the injuries we have.”

Another added: “Could be worse, should be good enough to stay up. Clears the path for the reunion we all want. Bring Poch back home after the WC!”
One more fan was not too keen: “Replacing 2 wins in 17 Frank with 0 wins in 8 Tudor,” while another supporter named their ideal managerial pick: “Marco Rose over Tudor please.”
Another fan believes it is a big risk: “If we are going down the route of an interim, someone who knows English football is surely a must? Massive risk bringing in Tudor imo.”
A final supporter stated: “It is in God’s hands now 😭😭.”
Is Igor Tudor the right fit for Tottenham?
Igor Tudor was once linked with Tottenham, with reports claiming former sporting director Fabio Paratici was keen on bringing him in as Frank’s replacement.
However, that never happened, and Frank remained in the Spurs dugout until he was dismissed a few days ago.
The Croatian, should he sign, will be tasked with keeping Tottenham up, and that in itself is no easy task.
At Juventus, he was in charge for 24 matches: he won 10, drew 8, and lost 6. A fair record, but Spurs can only hope he is the right fit for a relegation battle should he join them.
Tudor is also known for his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation, which could work for Tottenham given their lack of fit wingers.
