A new report has shed light on the talks that Tottenham Hotspur are currently holding as they hope to finalise a replacement for Igor Tudor.

There has been no official announcement on Tudor’s future, even though it has been three days since Tottenham fell to a bruising 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, which was the Croat’s fourth loss in five Premier League games in charge.

According to reports, Spurs are expected to have a new manager in charge by the time they play Sunderland after the international break.

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites are pressing ahead with a move for an experienced manager, who has been out of work for five months.

Tottenham are holding talks with Adi Hutter

It was reported earlier this week that Adi Hutter has emerged as a ‘serious contender’ for the Spurs interim role.

This has now been backed up by L’Équipe who say that the experienced Austrian could be in line to replace Tudor.

In fact, the report claims that Tottenham are currently holding talks with the 56-year-old, who parted ways with Monaco back in October after guiding them to back-to-back Champions League qualifications in the previous two seasons.

However, the outlet states that while the talks are ongoing, the North London club are yet to reach an agreement with Hutter.

Contradictory claims being made regarding Spurs’ pursuit of Roberto De Zerbi

Roberto De Zerbi is also on Tottenham’s radar, but there have been contradictory reports over whether the Italian would be willing to step in right now.

Some sources have claimed that De Zerbi would only be interested in taking over at Spurs in the summer if they stay in the Premier League.
