Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for another summer rebuild after a disappointing domestic campaign, and attention has now turned towards Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to end their 2025/26 campaign without a single trophy despite ending their nearly two-decade wait for silverware last season by winning the Europa League.

Real Madrid are also in the same boat as Spurs and will finish this season without any silverware, although their league position is far more respectable.

It has not been smooth sailing for Los Blancos, especially with dressing-room issues and managerial changes, and they will be looking to improve next season.

Tottenham could now be about to shop from the Spanish side as they also aim to improve on their poor domestic showing.

It is understood that the Frenchman is considering his future in Spain after being left out of the France national team squad.

Camavinga has seen his game time reduced for Los Blancos this season after making just 16 league starts, while Madrid are open to moving him on as they continue their evolution ahead of next season.

Spurs face Liverpool and Manchester United battle for Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga has reportedly been considering his options ahead of the summer window and is said to be open to a move to the Premier League.

As things stand, Tottenham will have to compete with Liverpool and Manchester United for the Frenchman’s signature, while Chelsea is also in the race.

TeamTalk reports that sources believe Real Madrid will demand a fee in the region of £50m to sanction a sale – a figure not expected to deter Premier League interest given the player’s age, pedigree and experience.

Camavinga can play in multiple positions, including as a defensive midfielder, box-to-box operator, left-sided midfielder and even at left-back when required. He will be a great addition to any side.

Manchester United are also interested in Aurelien Tchouameni. However, after the recent high-profile training-ground fallout involving the midfielder, there is a growing feeling he is unlikely to become genuinely available this summer, which has only increased the appeal of Camavinga.
