Tottenham told to bring Marcus Rashford back to the Premier League as the England international continues to remain out of Manchester United’s plans.

The attacker has become an outcast at the Red Devils in recent times, with Rashford joining Aston Villa on loan in the backend of last season, before moving to Barcelona this campaign on another loan deal.

At the Catalan club, Rashford has impressed, and has already netted four times in four Champions League matches.

However, Barcelona are unsure whether to purchase the 28-year-old permanently, leading to Tottenham being linked with Rashford.

However, with the Spanish giants stalling on whether to activate this clause, it could allow Spurs to swoop in for a potential bargain.

Reports suggest that the North London outfit have made contact with his agent to explore a potential deal to bring him to Spurs

Tottenham are in need of a new striker, with Dominic Solanke continuing to struggle with injuries.

Now, speaking exclusively with Tottenham Hotspur News, Bryan King has backed Spurs to get the deal done.

He said: “Of course, if he’s available. There are only so many strikers you can have. I think it would be decent value for any Premier League club. To get someone with the experience that he’s had for £26m would be great.

“There’d be no danger to the deal as well. He’s a good player, but it’s about getting him in the right frame of mind, that’s the only worry.

“I would have thought £26m isn’t a bad amount to spend on a player of his quality.”

Rashford’s stats show he can be a star at Spurs

Even though Rashford has gone through a bit of a sticky patch in recent seasons, he has continued to be highly-rated by his peers.

Back on 22 March, beIN Sports reported that Harry Kane labelled Rashford as “fantastic” after returning to the England fold.

His ability is also shown in his stats are Barcelona, with Fotmob on 25 November highlighting his high goals per 90 minutes ratio.

The attacker is also more than capable of creating chances, something that Spurs have been lacking since James Maddison’s injury.

Therefore, plenty suggest that Rashford could quickly become a star at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Thomas Frank should do everything in his power to get a deal over the line.
