DANSO BOOKED

Kevin Danso, not for the first time today, is late to tackle Lucas Digne and treads on his foot.

It is deemed a bookable offence by Simon Hooper, so that is both Spurs center backs in the book now.

KUDUS PUSHING

Everytime Tottenham are looking for something, they look towards Mohammed Kudus and again he takes on three men, gets into a dangerous position before Villa defenders re-assemble and the ball goes out for a throw in.

DIGNE DOWN IN BOX

Lucas Digne looks in some discomfort here after Kevin Danso clears his line.

No hint of a foul but a nasty knock on Digne's shin and he is undergoing treatment.

HALF-TIME: TOTTENHAM 1-1 ASTON VILLA

That is half-time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in what has been an interesting affair.

Tottenham opened the scoring early through Rodrigo Bentancur and had the majority of the ball but Morgan Rogers' stunning strike sees the sides level at the break.

TEL MISSES BIG OPPORTUNITY

Spurs from a long free-kick attempt to go wide, the ball strikes referee Simon Hooper and ends at the feet of Mohammed Kudus.

The Ghanaian whips a perfect ball across goal but Mathys Tel is unable to sort his feet out and the ball goes out for a throw in.

Villa not happy at Hooper for allowing play to carry on after it struck him but Morgan Rogers is back on and seems to be fine.

ROGERS DOWN

Morgan Rogers looks in a big of discomfort there and immediately waves over to the bench.

It looks like he may have twisted his ankle in a challenge but seemed to walk off the pitch happily enough.

ROGERS EQUALISES!

Villa were doing nothing, Spurs looked in complete control and then BANG.

Morgan Rogers with a brilliant, looping, dipping strike that beats Gugliemo Vicario and levels the scores.

We have a game on our hands now!

ONANA TAKES NASTY FALL

Amadou Onana takes a nasty fall after a brilliant, aggressive challenge by Joao Palhinha.

It looks as though the Belgium midfielder is going to be ok to carry on but a short delay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

VILLA STRUGGLING TO BREAK SPURS DOWN

Lucas Digne has the ball in some space down the left-hand side but he is quickly pressed by both Pedro Porro and Mohammed Kudus.

Villa are struggling to create any sort of chances and Spurs look so dangerous on the counter attack, something will need to change for Unai Emery's side if they are to get a result here.

CHANCES AT BOTH ENDS!

Villa thought they were in through Donyell Malen but Kevin Danso brilliantly shoves him off the ball.

In the blink of an eye, Spurs have a chance down the other end, where Wilson Odobert's shot from the left-hand side troubles Emiliano Martínez, but he is able to gather it up before anyone can latch onto the loose ball.

SPURS ADVANCING AGAIN

Tottenham continue to advance and Pedro Porro this time earns a corner.

The ball goes all the way beyond the back post where Wilson Odobert finds himself free but is unable to control it and Villa have a goal kick.
