Tottenham on verge of January signings No 2 and 3 as next medical scheduled
Tottenham could welcome two new arrivals to N17 this week.
Thomas Frank is already working to improve his squad, and Tottenham have been busy in the January transfer window as a result.
Brennan Johnson moved to Crystal Palace for £35million, while Irish youngster Mason Melia joined Tottenham for a fee of £1.6m.
Following Spurs’ FA Cup third-round exit on Saturday, they are in desperate need of additions that can walk into their starting lineup straight away.
Frank is under intense pressure, although he has been given the financial backing he needs as two deals are on the verge of being announced.

Souza set for Tottenham medical in next 48 hours
Spurs have several priorities to address in January, and thankfully, they’re on course to sign 19-year-old left-back Souza.
Tottenham have agreed a £13million deal with Santos for Souza, and he is now set to undergo his medical in N17.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that the youngster’s medical will take place in the next 48 hours, with his announcement likely to come before Saturday’s Premier League match against West Ham.
Souza reportedly had a release clause worth €100m (£87.1m) to foreign clubs, and Frank’s side have managed to secure themselves a bargain.
The Brazilian U19 international could challenge Destiny Udogie for a starting spot in the top flight, who has failed to hit the ground running under Frank.
Having made 38 senior appearances, the Brazilian has registered 42 touches in the opposition box the 2025 season, and he could be an astute signing for Spurs in the future.
However, Souza may not be announced as Tottenham’s first signing of the transfer window.
Conor Gallagher set for Tottenham medical before Souza
Gallagher has agreed a deal to join Tottenham, and he could complete his medical by Tuesday morning.
The 25-year-old had grown increasingly unhappy over his lack of game time at Atletico Madrid, and Tottenham beat out Villa to secure his signature for a fee of £34m.
Gallagher has an abundance of experience at the top level, and he is a perfect fit for Frank’s style of play.
He has set his sights on getting back into the England squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and returning to the Premier League will be hugely beneficial for his career.
Both Gallagher and Souza could have a huge part to play in Tottenham’s season.
Only time will tell whether they can perform for Frank.
