Tottenham Hotspur host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday at 5:30pm. Roberto De Zerbi faces his former club following a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland last week. Spurs remain winless in 2026, with their last victory coming against Crystal Palace on 28 December. Having fallen into the relegation zone, the north London club need a positive result to make ground on their relegation rivals. If Spurs are to avoid their first relegation in almost 50 years, Saturday’s match offers an opportunity to build much-needed momentum.
Brighton’s season has been far more positive. Fabian Hürzeler’s side are currently the Premier League’s form team having won five of their last six league contests. That streak has seen the Seagulls rise to ninth, and has created optimism for the remainder of the campaign. In touching distance of the European places, Hürzeler will be keen to continue their hot run and emulate De Zerbi in achieving European qualification.
