Here is the latest team news and confirmed lineups as Tottenham Hotspur host Everton this afternoon on the Premier League’s final day. Tottenham vs Everton will be a defining contest for the hosts. A defeat combined with a West Ham United victory against Leeds United would see Spurs relegated. The task is clear for De Zerbi’s side. Their superior goal difference means a draw would effectively secure survival. However, they were unable to deliver that against Chelsea on Tuesday and remain without a home league victory since December. Now, with no alternative, Spurs must deliver a result to avoid a first relegation since 1977.
The visitors have their own objective. With eighth-placed Chelsea just about in reach, a win could still mean European qualification. While it would require favourable results and a significant swing in goal difference, David Moyes’ team will be motivated by the opportunity. The Toffees’ form has slumped in recent weeks, with last week’s 3–1 defeat to Sunderland making it seven matches without a win. A victory today would not only help Moyes’ former club, West Ham, but also restore optimism for next season.
Below are the confirmed lineups for Tottenham vs Everton.

No players are suspended for Everton.
Having missed the last three games due to injury, Idrissa Gana Gueye could return. Speaking at Friday’s press conference, David Moyes said: “Gueye has been back on the grass. I’d say there’s probably a 50-50 chance he could be involved. We’ll know a bit more once we’ve trained and seen him over the next couple of days.”
However, Jarrad Branthwaite will not be involved. Moyes provided an update on the defender’s recovery: “Jarrad is making good progress, which you would expect, and he’s moving on. Jarrad has got a programme through the summer.”
Jack Grealish also remains sidelined, and the manager explained: “We’ve looked after Jack since his injury and his injury is coming on. He had quite a bad break in his foot, which has been pinned and it’s looking in good order now.”
Injured: Grealish and Branthwaite.
