West Ham United face a crunch game against rivals Tottenham on Saturday.

Both teams are struggling ahead of Saturday’s huge London derby in the Premier League, with Nuno Espirito Santo and Thomas Frank equally under pressure.

Already one of the most passionate games on the Premier League calendar, the stakes feel very high in this one.

Be honest; how would YOU feel if West Ham swapped Nuno for Thomas Frank?

The Spurs boss has come in for huge criticism…

West Ham United are seven points from safety in the Premier League table and desperately need to start picking up points.

Doing that at the home of their big rivals and therefore inflicting more misery on Spurs would be a sweet statement of intent for Hammers fans.

Here’s all you need to know.

Tottenham vs West Ham United is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off time on Saturday, 17 January, 2025.

The match will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Tottenham vs West Ham United team news

Both teams have injury concerns heading into the game.

West Ham’s injury list ahead of the Tottenham game is growing. Konstantinos Mavropanos is a doubt after suffering a neck injury against QPR in the FA Cup last time out.

Lucas Paqueta is a doubt with what has been called a back problem amid major doubts about his future at the club.

Mateus Fernandes could return, while Lukasz Fabianski is still injured. El Hadji Malick Diouf will miss the game and will instead be in action when Senegal play Morocco in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

Spurs will be without all of Richarlison, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Pape Matar Sarr.

Tottenham vs West Ham prediction

Spurs have largely been dreadful at home under Frank, so this does look like a genuine chance for West Ham.

While little about Nuno’s side inspires much in the way of confidence, they could put Spurs under huge pressure with a fast start.

It’s hard to see the Hammers keeping a clean sheet, however. That has happened only once all season.

Frankly, both teams are in such poor form that a bore draw does feel likely.

Score prediction: Tottenham 1-1 West Ham

Tottenham vs West Ham confirmed referee

The Premier League have confirmed that Jarred Gillett will oversee the match. James Bell will be on VAR duty.

Gillett was also in charge for the reverse fixture between these two back in September, a 3-0 defeat for West Ham during which Tomas Soucek was sent off.
