Tottenham have entered the summer transfer battle to sign Brentford defender Nathan Collins, journalist Graeme Bailey has reported.
The Lilywhites, along with Arsenal and Liverpool, are reportedly showing strong interest in the 24-year-old centre-back as they aim to reunite their new boss Thomas Frank with another of his former players.
Spurs are also said to be keen on winger Bryan Mbeumo’s arrival, although they are behind Manchester United in the race for the 25-year-old, who is prioritising a move to Old Trafford this summer.
Collins has reportedly been identified as an ‘ideal’ replacement for Cristian Romero, who has suitors at Atletico Madrid and could depart in the coming weeks of the transfer window.

Face stiff competition from Arsenal and Liverpool
According to Bailey, Tottenham face stiff competition from both Arsenal and Liverpool for Collins this summer amid the 24-year-old’s impressive season under Frank.
The 'exceptional' 30-cap Irish international has played every single minute of Brentford’s Premier League campaign, scoring two goals and providing five assists, helping the Bees finish 10th.
Brentford are expected to demand a significant fee for Collins this summer, considering he is tied to a long-term contract until June 2029.
The 24-year-old joined the Bees from Wolves in the summer of 2023 for a fee of £23m and remains the club’s second most expensive signing after Igor Thiago.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Collins is the only outfield player to have played every single minute of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
Tottenham are anticipating a busy summer window following Frank’s appointment and are believed to have placed the signing of a new winger at the top of their agenda.
While loanee Manor Solomon is now expected to be handed another chance in the first team, Spurs are also considering potential incomings, with Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo emerging as an option.
