Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
According to a report from Team Talk, multiple clubs are interested in the Norwegian striker, and Tottenham will face competition from Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, West Ham and Newcastle United.
Jorgen Strand Larsen could do well for Spurs
Larsen has shown his quality in the Premier League with Wolves, and there is no doubt he could prove a valuable acquisition for Tottenham.
The player could be available for close to £40 million, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to break the Bank for him. The North London club is being kept informed of the player’s situation.
Spurs could use Larsen
They need to add more depth and quality to the attacking unit. Dominic Solanke has not been able to find the back of the net regularly since joining the club. Randal Kolo Muani joined Tottenham on loan at the start of the season, and he has had his fair share of injury problems. The French international has not been a prolific goalscorer either.
Similarly, Richarlison has not been able to find the back of the net regularly since the big-money move from Everton.
Tottenham need a reliable finisher, and Larsen could prove to be the ideal acquisition for them. The player is likely to be attracted to the idea of joining the London outfit. It would be a step up for him, and he would get to compete in Europe with them.
Wolves are at the bottom of the Premier League table, and they are likely to go down at the end of the season. The Norwegian will not want to compete in the second division of English football. Joining another Premier League club would be ideal for him.
