Tottenham have joined the summer transfer battle to sign Copenhagen midfielder Victor Froholdt, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed.
The Lilywhites have reportedly added the promising 19-year-old Denmark international to their shortlist and are among several top European clubs monitoring him closely.
Eintracht Frankfurt are believed to be actively pursuing Froholdt at the moment, while Bayer Leverkusen are also admirers of the central midfielder.
Froholdt, who joined Copenhagen’s youth ranks in 2019, is under contract with the Danish club until June 2028.

Plettenberg, writing on X, has revealed that Froholdt has emerged as a potential midfield option for several European clubs, including Tottenham, Frankfurt and Leverkusen:
Froholdt, praised as a ‘beast in the making’, made his senior debut for Copenhagen in September 2023 and has enjoyed regular minutes ever since.
The 19-year-old has registered 61 first-team appearances to date, scoring eight goals and providing six assists whilst operating in a number of different roles.
Although a natural central midfielder, the one-cap Denmark international is also able to play on either of the wings and would be another exciting signing from a Nordic country for Spurs, who welcomed fellow promising midfielder Lucas Bergvall from Swedish side Djurgarden last year.
