Tottenham Hotspur are now interested in signing the Manchester City attacker Omar Marmoush.

They are looking to improve their attacking unit in the coming weeks, and they have also been linked with Antoine Semenyo. However, multiple clubs are interested in the Ghanaian, and Tottenham believe that the chances of signing him are quite slim.

Spurs eyeing Omar Marmoush now

According to TEAMtalk, they have now decided to turn their attention to the Egyptian international. The 26-year-old has done well since joining Manchester City, and he has been labelled as a “special” player by his teammates.

There is no doubt that he has the qualities to help Spurs improve. Naturally, he is a centre forward, but he is capable of operating on the left flank as well. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham if they can get the deal done.

Manchester City paid around £59 million to sign the player, and it will be interesting to see if they are prepared to sell him for a reasonable amount of money. He is not an indispensable asset for them, and they could sell him for the right price. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Spurs could use Marmoush

Tottenham need more quality in the attack if they want to fight for major trophies. Signing a reliable performer in the Premier League would be a wise decision.

Even though the Egyptian has not been one of the first names on the team sheet for Manchester City, he has performed whenever called upon. There is no doubt that he has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could be a star for Tottenham. They need an upgrade on Dominic Solanke, who has not been able to find the back of the net regularly.

Marmoush could be the solution to their problems.
