Tottenham fans will be hoping for a much better performance from their club in the 2025-26 Premier League.
The North London side finished 17th last season, a ranking which ultimately cost Ange Postecoglou his job at Tottenham.
Spurs have appointed Thomas Frank now, and he’s expected to be heavily backed in the transfer market in a bid to propel Spurs up the league.
Bookmakers predict Tottenham league finish
The Premier League fixtures were released on Wednesday (18 June), and Tottenham have been dealt a generous opening to the 2025-26 season.
The release of these fixtures has led many bookmakers to update their odds surrounding Tottenham’s performance in the league next year.

Figures published by OddsChecker (19 June) suggest that Tottenham now have the joint-seventh lowest odds to win the Premier League next year. They’re level with Aston Villa, who missed out on the Champions League places by goal difference last season.
These figures suggest that most bookmakers expect Tottenham to finish seventh or eighth in the upcoming season. That would represent a significant improvement on last year’s league form.
You can get odds of 70/1 for Tottenham to win next year’s Premier League. Liverpool are the bookies’ favourites, followed by Arsenal and Manchester City.
A top-half finish would represent significant progress for Spurs
The idea of a steady top-half finish might not sound too exciting for some Tottenham fans.
After all, this is a club that has regularly qualified for the Champions League and will compete among Europe’s elite next season.
Sadly, Spurs took a huge backward step under Postecoglou last season (domestically, at least), and that will take some time to repair.
If Frank can get Tottenham playing entertaining football and competing well in the majority of their Premier League matches, a top-half finish should be seen as good progress.
A long run in one or more of the cup competitions would be an even bigger sign that the club is moving in the right direction.
Frank will need to hit the ground running, given his side’s generous start to the Premier League season. He should expect to be comfortably nestled in the top half after his first ten games, and that would provide a solid foundation to build from.
