Hello and welcome to Mirror Football's transfer live blog on Monday, July 6, with the summer window finally kicking into gear!

Reports suggest that Manchester United are interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha. The Red Devils are looking to improve their engine room and the German is named among a host of potential targets including Alex Scott, who is said to be of interest to Arsenal.

Tottenham have played a key role in that, with £185million spent to sign Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes. Both players were linked to Manchester United as they look to rejuvenate their midfield but look to remain responsible with their financial outlay.

Michael Carrick's side have instead appeared to move on to an attacking target. A possible move for Crystal Palace star Ismaila Sarr, who is reportedly valued at £35million, has been touted.

Arsenal, meanwhile, could be looking to take advantage of Aston Villa's unfortunate financial situation with Morgan Rogers and now Ezri Konsa firmly on the radar. Leandro Trossard appears to be on his way out of the club, however.

Chelsea are closing in on the sale of Tyrique George with the winger on the verge of making his loan to Everton permanent.

Elsewhere, Bradley Barcola continues to be strongly linked with a Paris Saint-Germain exit. The Gunners view him as an alternative to Rogers, while Liverpool has switched their focus away from Yan Diomande and onto the Frenchman.
