The North London outfit were prepared to let him move on and seek greener pastures for a fee of €40 million (£35m). However, the player has now spoken to his advisors and decided that he will stay in the Premier League.
The decision has been made with the focus on the 2026 World Cup. The Brazilian attacker believes that staying at Tottenham and playing regularly with them will benefit him and improve his chances of holding down a regular spot in the Brazilian national team.
Can Richarlison perform at a high level?

He was outstanding in the opening game of the Premier League, where he scored twice against Burnley. There is no doubt that he’s a quality player, and he has shown that in bits and pieces with Tottenham. He was outstanding for Everton as well.
