Joining up with the Club in July, 2025, after his transfer from Hajduk Split was agreed in 2023, the Croatia international made his first appearance in our colours in a pre-season fixture against Reading, registering a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory.
In the matchday squad for the 2025 UEFA Super Cup and our opening two Premier League fixtures last term, the 19-year-old defender later headed to Germany to join Hamburger SV on loan for the 2025/26 season, where a successful spell saw him make 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals.
Making his World Cup debut last month against England, he has six senior caps and one goal to his name for the Croatia national team.
