Good afternoon and welcome to another in this series of daily shorts from The Boy Hotspur himself, sharing opinion and information from behind the scenes at Tottenham Hotspur.
This recent methodology of Daniel Levy to secure players using what is effectively a payment plan is not a new thing in business, but at Spurs, it’s been hit and miss.
We bought Sissoko and Richarlison via this route, and whilst neither set the world on fire, it has to be said, it was a way of allowing players to be secured whose value was arguably problematic in one lump sum.
Will this deal work out any better for Tottenham? Let us hope so!
