Tottenham legend Heung-min Son delivered a reminder of his enduring quality with a standout display in the United States, catching the eye with a remarkable creative performance.

No doubt Heung-min Son’s final season at Tottenham Hotspur was below par in comparison with the standards he set in previous campaigns.

While Son managed seven goals and provided ten assists in the 24-25 Premier League season, it was clear that the Spurs captain was losing his legs and struggling to cope with the intensity of the league.

As a result, few would have argued against his departure last summer, especially after he captained the side in their historic Europa League triumph in Bilbao, Spain, ending the club’s long trophy drought while cementing his legacy as a Tottenham legend.

Son now plies his trade in Major League Soccer with Los Angeles FC, and his most recent performance shows that he is still among the best in the division.

The Tottenham legend, in Los Angeles FC’s clash against Orlando City, managed an impressive four assists in one half.

He was an instrumental figure in his side’s rampant display, as they ran away with the game, securing a 6-0 win over their opponents.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Many Tottenham fans will hardly be surprised by this feat from Son, who produced several similar outrageous displays during his time in north London.

Back on September 17, 2022, many Spurs supporters will remember the South Korean’s 13-minute hat-trick against Leicester City after coming off the bench in the 59th minute and scoring three goals between the 73rd and 86th minutes, helping Tottenham to a 6-2 victory.

He is also no stranger to creating goals, with his partnership alongside Harry Kane one of the most lethal in Premier League history, assisting the Tottenham record goalscorer 23 times. Son holds the record for most assists in Spurs history.
