Mikey Moore has struck again for Rangers, this time on the biggest stage in Scottish football, as the Tottenham academy graduate continues to go from strength to strength north of the border.

Moore has evolved into one of Rangers’ best attackers over the last few months and is now consistently showing just how special a talent he is.

The Tottenham youngster has won the Young Player of the Year award in Scotland, showcasing why many at Hotspur Way see him as a generational talent.

The teenager is finishing his spell in Glasgow in style, and made a decisive contribution again this afternoon against Rangers’ fierce rivals.

Moore produced the goods once again for the Gers, this time against their bitter rivals at Parkhead in what is a crucial game in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

The 18-year-old opened the scoring for the away side in just 10 minutes, netting his seventh goal of the season for Danny Rohl’s men.

Moore was on hand to guide the ball home from a few yards out after forward Youssef Chermiti’s attempt at goal was blocked, with the strike silencing the home crowd.

This is not the first time that Moore has netted in the Old Firm Derby. He scored the third goal against Celtic in a 3-0 win earlier this season.

Moore has shown great character to bounce back from adversity at Rangers

It was not all smooth sailing for the teenager in his first few months at Ibrox, with the winger initially struggling to get regular starts under his belt under Russel Martin.

In fact, Moore even revealed that Tottenham wanted him to return to the club, but he decided to fight and prove his worth in Rangers colours.

The mental character he has shown and the pressure he has experienced in Glasgow will certainly hold the youngster in good stead when he returns to North London.
