Tell us about Charlton’s 100% winning start to the season - including winning at West Ham at the weekend...
Richard: "The Addicks have been very good in the opening weeks of the season. Maybe we shouldn't have been surprised about the victory at London Stadium, as Charlton did not lose away to any of the clubs relegated from the Premier League last season - with the highlight being a 3-0 victory at Ipswich Town. They defended resolutely on Saturday and posed a huge threat on the counter attack. It feels like they have more potent options in the final third."
Nathan Jones brought Charlton back up to the Championship, then kept the team in the division last term – how important is his influence now into his third season?
Richard: "First full season - promotion. Second season - consolidation in the Championship. Every year there has been an improvement in terms of finishing position since the Welshman took over the team - not to mention also averting the threat of relegation from League One when he initially arrived. I think Nathan has probably enjoyed some of the pre-season predictions that Charlton would be one of the division's strugglers this season - it's extra motivational fuel."
Tactically, how do you expect Charlton to approach Wednesday night?
Richard: "It's hard to say because there might be an element of rotation for this match, although I can't imagine it will be too much with such a big away following and facing such high-profile opposition. So far Charlton have started in a 4-2-3-1 formation, which is a change from the back five they employed last season, and I imagine the plan will be to stay solid at the back and then try to counter punch through gaps."
Which players should Spurs fans keep an eye out for?
Richard: "Tyreece Campbell. It really has clicked for the pacy winger this season. He has scored in all three matches and really made it uncomfortable for Kyle Walker-Peters at the weekend. Lloyd Jones will be a threat from set-pieces. The centre-back has scored in the previous two games - including that overhead finish at West Ham - not your standard goal from a big defender...."
Finally, can you remember the 2011 FA Cup tie? How much are Charlton as a club - players, fans - looking forward to this one?
Richard: "I do remember the tie although I wasn't at the match (I covered another club for the South London Press at the time). Charlton want those Premier League matches back - it's been too long - and so this tie against Spurs was celebrated massively when it came out of the hat. At least there is no Jermain Defoe to torment them this time (Jermain scored twice, Andros once in our 3-0 win that day)."
