The 22-year-old forward wore the number 19 shirt last term after joining us in July, 2025, from Hammarby IF, scoring six goals in all competitions in her maiden campaign at the Club.
Now, ready to embark on her second season as a Lilywhite player, Tinka has opted to switch her number to nine for the upcoming Barclays Women’s Super League campaign – a number that has meant a lot to her in her career.
“Wow, it's amazing. I love it,” she told us, looking at her new squad number on the back of the shirt for the first time. “It's a really cool number and obviously big players have had that number. I want to make it mine and, for me, it means a lot because it was the first number I had when I signed my first pro contract. It means a lot to me and I will just make it mine.
“I know how much it means for the fans and the club, the number nine shirt, so I will wear it with pride every time I step on the pitch. I will fight for this club. It means a lot to me as well and I've been a fan myself, so I know how much it means. I'm just really proud and can't wait to play some games.”
When asked about wearing the Lilywhite shirt in from of our supporters, she added: “First of all, I just feel very proud and so, so happy to be here. It's a dream for me to play here and I always wanted to come to Spurs.
“Every time I step on the pitch, I want to do it for the club, I want to do it for the fans and I know how much it means because I've been a fan myself.”
