The news that Tottenham Hotspur have broken their 17-year trophy drought has garnered reaction from around the world, and World Wrestling Entertainment have now sent a memento to the club to mark their Europa League achievement.

The last 48 hours have been surreal for Spurs fans across the world, who have had to wait a long time to see their side lift silverware.

In fact, a whole generation of Lilywhite fans have never experienced that feeling before Bilbao, while many others have gone their entire adult lives without doing so.

That is why the celebrations have been wild since Tottenham got their hands on the Europa League trophy, and one would expect them to continue well into next week.

Not only does this win ensure that the ‘Spursy’ tag has been put to rest for the time being, but it also means that Tottenham have secured a place in next season’s Champions League and the financial benefits that come with that.

Additionally, the North London side will also get another chance at securing a European trophy very soon, with Spurs booking their place in the UEFA Super Cup final, where they will take on the winner of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.

Spurs Play presenter Ben Haines has now revealed that WWE has sent Tottenham Hotspur a world championship title belt to commemorate the Lilywhites’ historic success.

This trophy will be particularly special to the Spurs captain, who has been at the club for a decade, through thick and thin.

Previously, he had been hesitant to call himself a legend without any silverware, but after finally getting his hands on a trophy, Heung-min Son declared that he can now proudly call himself a Tottenham legend, which would delight Spurs fans.
