After back-to-back 6-1 wins for Jamie Carr’s troops in the league, attention now turns to a competition we reached the semi-finals of last term, having previously won it in 2022/23.
We met the Rams at Hotspur Way on our run to the final four last season, defeating them 2-1 at Hotspur Way in our third and final group stage match in November, but this time will travel to their training ground as we look to get off to a positive start in the latest instalment of the tournament.
Derby come into the game having suffered back-to-back losses to Burnley and Newcastle United in the Under-18 Premier League northern division so far this campaign.
