Everton are going to need to bolster their options in midfield during the January transfer window.
It has been issue after issue for David Moyes in recent weeks when it comes to his midfield options on Merseyside.
On Tuesday, Everton returned to winning ways, but the points were slightly tainted by Tim Iroegbunam’s fifth yellow card of the season.
Iroegbunam will now miss Everton’s game against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, leaving Moyes without the following midfielders:

Bissouma was linked with a potential move to Turkey with Galatasaray interested in working a deal for the 29-year-old.
That proposed move fell through and Bissouma is now wearing the shirt of their bitter rivals, Fenerbahce.
West Ham were also keen on Bissouma over the summer, with his future in north London seemingly done.
Whether he is hinting towards a move to Turkey or not, wearing another team’s shirt is not usually something that goes down well among fans.
Everton absolutely must invest in their midfield
Rohl is expected to return from injury in January, but the Blues will still be without Gueye for a few weeks.
Moyes has admitted that Everton will consider recalling Harrison Armstrong from his loan stint with Preston North End.
