Yves Bissouma looks set to leave Tottenham this summer amid mounting speculation.

The midfielder only has one year left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as Thomas Frank prepares to overhaul his squad.

Bissouma has struggled for consistency at Spurs compared to his time at Brighton.

As a result, Juventus have entered the race for Bissouma as they look to prize the 28-year-old away from the London club.

However, multiple other teams are also interested in the midfielder.

Fenerbahce ‘to make offer’ for Bissouma

On top of Juventus, Fenerbahce have been linked with Bissouma all summer.

Jose Mourinho is keen to add to his squad in order to challenge for the Turkish Super League title this season.

Bissouma is understood to be keen to leave Tottenham this summer, and now Fenerbahce are looking to make a move for the midfielder.

According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu via Fener Ajans (9 July), the 28-year-old is Mourinho’s top midfield target this summer.

However, Tottenham are demanding £20 million for Bissouma, which is proving to be a sticking point in negotiations.

If this fee comes down, “Fenerbahce will make an official offer”, with the midfielder wanting to play under Mourinho this season.

Frank should look to sell Bissouma even if Fenerbahce don’t match asking price

The tricky thing about Bissouma’s situation is that the midfielder is out of contract next year.

As a result, Spurs cannot afford to wait for the asking price as he could easily end up leaving on a free next summer.

Therefore, if Fenerbahce end up submitting an offer slightly under, Frank has to accept the deal.

On top of this, the wages that will be saved could help finance further reinforcements in the squad, ready for the new season.

Hopefully, Tottenham do not hold out for the £20m, as it would then seem inevitable that the interested parties would simply wait until January to make a pre-contract offer.
