Tickets are still available for the US country music star's two London concerts this week
He's the US's biggest country music star to emerge in a generation and he is set to perform two major concerts in London this week, transforming the British capital into a version of the Grand Ole Opry. Zach Bryan will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for two concerts on Tuesday, June 16, and Wednesday, June 17.
Bryan, a former US Navy ordnance man, became an overnight sensation in 2023 with the release of his mega-hit "Something In The Orange", followed a year later by the Grammy-winning "I Remember Everything". Bryan headlined two nights at BST Hyde Park last year, and his With Heaven On Tour marks his first concert tour across the UK, Europe and North America.
The tour supports Bryan's sixth album, "With Heaven On Top". As Bryan prepares to bring his heart-rending anthems to the UK, we dive into everything you need to know about his shows.
Who is Zach Bryan?
Zach Bryan was born in Yokosuka, Japan, in 1996 where his parents were stationed while in the navy. He grew up in Oklahoma and began writing songs at 14, soon after the breakup of his parents. Bryan followed family tradition and entered the US navy at the age of 17, and served for eight years, latterly as an aviation ordnance man.
Bryan self-released his first album "DeAnn" in 2019, a tribute to his late mother, followed by a second self-released album "Elisabeth" in 2020, in honour of his then-wife. Bryan played his first concert in 2019 in Medford, Oregon, and left the navy to purse a music career in 2021 after signing a deal with Warner Records. His third album, "American Heartbreak" in 2022, yielded six singles including the smash hit "Something In The Orange".
The following year, Bryan's self-titled fourth album hit the number one spot in the US album charts and produced the single "I Remember Everything", a duet with Kacey Musgraves, which topped the Billboard 100 and saw the pair win a Grammy for Best Country Duo Performance. Bryan's fifth album, "Great American Bar Scene" in 2024 offered up yet another major hit "Pink Skies".
