Tottenham Hotspur‘s England international Djed Spence appears to be heading towards the exit door at Spurs this summer, but other clubs currently have a stronger interest than Liverpool.
Lucas Bergvall could be edging closer to a Tottenham exit after Liverpool reportedly made contact with the player's family.
That's according to Swedish outlet SportBibel, which has alleged the Reds have enquired about the midfielder's availability.
Liverpool stand to make a healthy profit on Gakpo if a sale is to be sanctioned, with it being suggested that he could cost Spurs up to £70 million ($94m). The agreement that took the 27-year-old to Merseyside came in at less than £45m ($61m).
Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown feels an attacking signing is “likely” and the “domino effect” of the deal could see Chelsea lose one of their best players.
