Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Tottenham Hotspur fired head coach Thomas Frank, the London-based soccer club announced Wednesday.
Spurs said they were determined to give Frank time and support to "build for the future together," but their current status prompted the change.

The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust has backed the decision to sack Thomas Frank - but questioned why it did not happen before the transfer deadline.
