Tottenham continued their strong start to the season by coming from two goals behind to draw 2-2 at Brighton, but they will only have eyes for maximum points when taking on basement side Wolves in north London.

Thomas Frank's side have lost just one of eight matches across all competitions and will be keen to stay among the Premier League frontrunners for as long as possible.

The Lilywhites were 3-0 midweek winners at home to Doncaster in the EFL Cup, paving the way for an intriguing fixture away to Newcastle in the round of 16.

Wolves are also progressing in the EFL Cup, having posted home wins over West Ham (3-2) and Everton (2-0), but they continue to struggle in the league.

Vitor Pereira's side remain pointless and have set an unwanted club record by losing their opening five league games of the campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves Tips Summary

Best Bet - Tottenham win to nil @ 6/4

Alternative Bet - Tottenham to win 2-0 @ 7/1

Bet Builder - Mohammed Kudus anytime goalscorer, Joao Palhinha to be carded, Ladislav Krejci over 1.5 fouls @ 16/1

Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves Prediction

Best Bet: Tottenham win to nil @ 6/4

Tottenham conceded a couple of poor goals in last Saturday's 2-2 draw at Brighton, but they can register a comfortable victory over Wolves, who are in danger of being cut off at the foot of the table.

Coach Frank is sure to have analysed what went wrong in the opening half at the Amex Stadium and will be looking to see further improvements from his side.

Spurs are not quite clicking in an attacking sense and were not fully convincing during their midweek triumph over Doncaster.

However, they are averaging exactly two goals per league game and can do enough against Wolves, who are yet to score on their travels.

Alternative Bet: Tottenham to win 2-0 @ 7/1

Spurs are defending much better than they were for the vast majority of last season.

They have conceded one goal in four home matches and their disciplined defence and lay the foundation for success against the basement boys.

Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves Bet Builder Tip

Mohammed Kudus anytime goalscorer

Joao Palhinha to be carded

Ladislav Krejci to commit over 1.5 fouls

Pays 16/1

Mohammed Kudus was among the Spurs players excused from EFL Cup duty, but he has made a bright start to his Lilywhites career and can bag his first goal for the club this weekend.

The Ghanaian has registered eight shots in Premier League games without finding the net, but his luck may be about to change.

Spurs look a more robust side and are clearly benefiting from the loan signing of Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich.

Palhinha has made 19 tackles (the joint second highest in the division), but his first booking of the season may not be too far away.

Wolves must decide how to utilise Czech midfielder Ladislav Krejci, who switched to a centre-back role for Tuesday's EFL Cup win at home to Everton.

Krejci has committed seven fouls in two league appearances and seems certain to be in the thick of the action.
