Herts arrest after Spurs star allegedly threatened with gun
At around 11.15pm on September 6, it was reported that Spurs defender Destiny Udogie was threatened with a firearm in a busy London street.
Two days later, the Hertfordshire home of a football agent was raided by the investigating Met Police, with a 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent, blackmail and driving without a licence. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed it was providing support to Udogie following the incident, but would not be commenting further.
"We have been providing support for Destiny and his family since the incident and will continue to do so," a spokesperson said.
"Given this is a legal matter, we cannot comment any further."
The agent, who has not been named, does not work for Udogie but is believed to represent stars which include an England international.
Udogie joined Spurs from Udinese for £15m in the summer of 2022 and has made 76 appearances for the club.
The 22-year-old has played 10 times this season, including in a 4-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League last night (November 4).
