It also features an AliPay sponsor on the sleeve, which begs the question why Betano doesn't feature.

"We still have areas of improvement but we responded well in the second half. We created a lot of chances. It wasn't just individuals, it was combinations and if we keep doing that then eventually a goalkeeper will throw one in for us."

Despite playing for a team that came close to relegation, Williams caught the eye on regular occasion.

The defender gets plenty of shots away - 1.29 per game - and creates a chance every game.

But while the 25-year-old is well known for his offensive ability, his defending is very impressive, too.

Williams makes 2.47 clearances, 1.32 interceptions, 2.69 tackles, 4.60 recoveries and wins 6.06 duels per game.

Should Tottenham be able to attract him for a reasonable price this summer, they will be gaining a top full-back.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson feels that Spurs have overpaid for the Italian international, but also suggested that Newcastle had every right to make profit on the player.

"There's been slight overpayment for someone like [Sandro] Tonali, I would say. But you have to remember, this is similar with [Mateus] Fernandes," he said.

"But Tonali was a player that Newcastle bought for a huge amount of money, £60m, I think it was. They took the risk on him.

"It's worked. He's been a very, very good signing, he's still he's coming into the prime years of his career at 26. Why wouldn't they turn a profit on a signing like that?

"Of course there's the gambling issue, but you would expect a player that's been signed for £60m, it's been a big success, to go for more.

"There's a lot of fuss being made about transfer fees. I don't think they're particularly out of kilter with previous seasons.

"I think we'll also see that in the second half of the transfer window, when teams try and clear out their squad members that they don't want, it's going to be very hard for teams to get big money for these players."

The Lilywhites are currently waiting on planning permission to install 3800 panels on the roof of their North London home, with plans already submitted to Haringey Council.

Wyness has made it clear that while the solar panels won't be a game-changer in terms of revenue for the club, they will represent a useful saving.

The panels are set to provide around 1.64 megawatts of energy if they are approved, which could then be used to run other areas of the stadium.

Wyness made it clear that Everton are currently the gold standard when it comes to eco-friendly stadiums, but Spurs are now moving to close the gap.

Everton's former chief Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that Tottenham's solar panels could provide a big boost to their reputation as a club.

The Scottish businessman made it clear that the installation would be "very good for the brand" of the capital club, provided their plans get approved.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness made it clear that while the panels are a "prudent" investment for Spurs, it won't have a major effect on their revenue.

"I've looked at the whole issue of sustainability. The reality is it's good, obviously, to do it in terms of efficiency and cost reduction, and the main thing is actually keeping costs in control because we've all seen the electricity spikes that have happened over the last few years," he said.

"Given the usage of the stadium with all the big power-hungry concerts and different things as well as just the football matches alone, it's a very prudent thing to do. It's not going to be earth-moving in terms of balance sheets, but it is good cost control.

"It's very good for the brand to be doing things like this in terms of the UN sports climate mandates and all those sorts of things.

" I think it's the right thing to do. It shows prudent planning. Everton is probably the most eco-friendly stadium at the moment, but I think for Spurs to do this just makes sense."

The 25-year-old is drawing reported interest from Everton, and there is a prospect that Spurs could cash in this summer.

But De Zerbi will have enjoyed several aspects of Spence's performance, not least his impressive willingness to close down in the extreme Miami heat.

There was one moment in particular where Spence almost scored after sprinting from left-back to close down Norway goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.

Defensively, Spence was simply excellent, winning one tackle, making one interception, and finishing with four clearances.

Those contributions were crucial in keeping Norway at bay during those tense final moments.

But he also made two recoveries for England, while winning three of four ground duels, and his one solitary aerial duel, in an all-action cameo.

Going forward, he had a successul dribble to his name, made five carries, and even managed to register a shot on target.

He was also desperately unlucky to see a penalty decision overturned, a moment that left Alan Shearer seething.

With England having already gone ahead thanks to Bellingham's second, there was an almighty flash point.

Spence marauded into the Norway box, then was awarded a penalty after being felled by Oscar Bobb.

However, referee Clement Turpin was sent to the pitchside monitor, and overturned his original decision after deciding Spence had manufactured the contact.

Shearer, speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, felt it was a "nonsense" decision, and described Spence as "magnificent".

He said: "Spence came on I thought he was absolutely magnificent up and down that left-hand side, I thought the decision to deny him a penalty was a joke, I thought that was rubbish, I thought that was so bad.

"What is Djed Spence meant to do? He's well within his rights to step across him, its not for the ref to decide where he puts his leg.

"He put it across, which you're taught as a forward, as a kid. He did everything right, he did his job perfectly.

"If the defender is stupid enough to make the challenge like he did then you're running the risk of giving the penalty away.

"So, the ref gave it, but for him to then say he's got it absolutely wrong and (it's) a howler was nonsense again. For me it was a clear penalty."

It could not only lead to a Tottenham re-think, but could see Spence start a World Cup semi-final on the biggest stage of all.

ENIC have had mixed reviews as Tottenham Hotspur owners over the years.

The football on the pitch has simply not been good enough for supporters, but one thing that cannot be taken away from them is their business acumen.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is planning to have construction work starting in September 2026, with it finalising in December.

The stadium will see 3,800 solar panels installed on the roof of the 62,850 capacity ground.

That is should their application for the construction be accepted by the Haringey Council.

As shared by Energy News Live: "The electricity produced would help power the stadium's extensive operations, which include matches, concerts, hospitality, catering, lighting and other major events.

"Any reduction in grid demand could also help Spurs lower energy costs and the carbon footprint associated with running the 62,850-seat ground."

So, while it will not provide an incoming financial boost for Tottenham, it will help free up funds through savings.

After utilising the stadium as a prime location for events outside of football as a revenue stream, ENIC have once again proved to be financially savvy owners.

These savings could certainly go a long-way into making Spurs even more financially secure and the ownership deserve immense praise for that fact.

While, it is not known how similar West Ham's system of 6,500 square metres worth of panels is compared Tottenham's total of 3,800 panels, the impact of how much can be saved has been shown.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to earn millions by hosting one of the stops in Jay-Z's brand-new tour across the UK, USA and France.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson estimated that Spurs are likely to make in the region of £4.5million due to the concert, albeit not all of that would be profit.

"It's hard to say. It's hard to know exactly because we don't know the commercial arrangement," he said.

"But just for background, if you go into the Wembley accounts, last year they added extra concerts and the stadiums of similar size, the revenue generated from each event will be similar.

"And their headline revenue from each of those events was an average of £4.5million. So, you'd think it'd be similar for Spurs.

"And then it's a question of how much cost comes out for servicing those and what does the commercial arrangement look like?

"You'd think, profit-wise, they'd probably make £1m [per concert]. It's not going to be the full £4.5m of revenue. That's for sure.

"So it's good, but just just temper expectations about just how good it is for for them in terms of profit."

Fans have been jumping for joy after eye-watering deals for Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali were agreed, spending just below £200m on the duo.
