Description

Maghnes Akliouche has quickly become one of the hottest prospects as the summer transfer window nears its close, drawing strong interest from PSG and Manchester City after a breakout season with AS Monaco. The 23-year-old has established himself as one of Ligue 1’s brightest talents, but there’s conflicting information over a potential move.

In May, 90min France reported that both City and PSG had stepped up their pursuit, with Monaco reportedly valuing the midfielder around €70 million. Pep Guardiola is said to admire Akliouche’s left-footed creativity and versatility, seeing him as a potential long-term successor to Bernardo Silva.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg noted that Bayer Leverkusen still regard Akliouche as a dream signing, though their chances appear slim given the high price and stiff competition. With Manchester City firmly in the mix, Plettenberg added that the Frenchman is one of the key players to watch as Deadline Day approaches.

Will Tottenham land PSG transfer target?

The Telegraph reports that Tottenham are interested in French attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche after missing out on Eberechi Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White. Monaco would be willing to sell him if it received an attractive bid.

PSG, Tottenham Receive Good News on Everton Target as Atletico Madrid Offer Rejected - PSG Talk
Description

With just days remaining in the summer transfer window, PSG face questions about whether they will make one or two moves before it closes. One area the Parisians could strengthen is the depth of their attack.

Fichajes recently reported that Takefusa Kubo is on PSG’s radar, though any deal would likely hinge on Kang-in Lee’s potential departure amid ongoing transfer rumors.

Last season, Kubo scored eight goals and added six assists, establishing himself as one of La Liga’s most productive wingers. Everton have also reportedly contacted Real Sociedad about a possible move for the Japanese star, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Real Sociedad reject offer for PSG, Tottenham target

Fichajes reports that Atlético de Madrid are eager to bring Kubo from Real Sociedad. The Madrid club has reportedly offered €35 million plus goalkeeper Carlos Marín, a standout in Atlético’s reserve team. However, Real Sociedad’s response was firm: they won’t negotiate for less than €60 million, close to Kubo’s release clause.

The report mention that from the player’s point of view, the situation is complicated. Kubo feels at home at Real Sociedad, where he plays a key role and enjoys strong support from the fans. On top of that, the Basque club will compete in European competitions, giving him an international stage to keep developing.

Fichajes reports that Kubo’s future is making headlines in the summer transfer window. The Japanese winger has requested to leave Real Sociedad, sparking interest from three major European clubs: Atlético de Madrid, Tottenham, and PSG.

Gianluca Di Marzio Reports Fresh Juventus Update on PSG Star Linked to Newcastle, Tottenham - PSG Talk
Description

Randal Kolo Muani’s future remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: he won’t be staying at PSG. Last season, he impressed on loan at Juventus, recording 10 goal contributions in 19 appearances across all competitions.

With the transfer window open and no agreement yet between Juventus and PSG, his next move is still undecided, and several Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on him.

This month, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Juventus remain confident they will complete the Kolo Muani deal. He added that the French forward has only been in talks with Juventus this week, with no progress so far regarding Newcastle United or Tottenham.

What’s the latest on Juventus landing PSG outcast?

On Monday, transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Kolo Muani’s return to Juventus could take a few more days.

The Bianconeri are working to finalize an agreement with PSG, regardless of whether Dusan Vlahovic remains in Turin. Negotiations with the French club are ongoing, with Juventus having already agreed on terms with the striker.

Italian media outlet Quotidiano Sportivo reported that the loan would not be free and would require an immediate payment of €10 million.

This amount is causing a standoff between the two clubs, as a €10 million gap remains. It’s unclear whether Juventus will be willing to meet PSG’s asking price.

PSG’s £57M Signing Reveals Reason for Tottenham, Newcastle Transfer Snub - PSG Talk
Description

On Tuesday, PSG officially announced the arrival of former Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi. Moreover, the Ukraine international spoke to the club’s official website and revealed why the Parisians made sense as he sought a new challenge.

PSG had to beat other Premier League clubs to land Zabarnyi, so it wasn’t an easy-going transfer saga. Recently, L’Équipe reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United remained in the mix for the player.

The French media outlet also revealed that both Premier League clubs are ready to meet Bournemouth’s demands immediately if Zabarnyi gave them the green light. Nonetheless, perhaps this interest gave PSG a sense of urgency to get a deal done, and they would.

Zabarnyi would complete his £57 million transfer to PSG and now begins a new chapter in his career with the reigning UEFA Champions League winners.

Why did Illia Zabarnyi choose PSG?

In an interview with PSG’s official website, Zabarnyi was asked what made him decide on the capital club as he was fixed on heading to Paris despite interest from other Premier League clubs.

“I felt as though people wanted me to come here, and honestly, that really motivated me to do so as soon as possible,” Zabarnyi said. “In the end, that’s what happened. This is a new experience for me, and it’s amazing. I’m still young, so I need to try new things, which is why I think that this was the right decision.”

Tottenham Get Good News Ahead of Facing PSG in UEFA Super Cup - PSG Talk
Description

PSG will face Tottenham Hotspur on August 13 in the UEFA Super Cup, kicking off the 2025-26 season with a chance to win a major trophy.

Tottenham might be missing a key player for the match and are looking to boost their squad ahead of taking on the reigning treble winners. While PSG cruised to the FIFA Club World Cup final and dominated last season, Chelsea’s strong summer showing proved they’re not unbeatable.

Spurs will not have Son Heung-min as the South Korea international left the Premier League club recently to join MLS side LAFC. Nonetheless, PSG will reportedly be without a key player of their own.

PSG will have be without key player for UEFA Super Cup

RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports that João Neves is suspended for the match against Tottenham in the UEFA Super Cup and against Nantes in Ligue 1 following his red card in the Club World Cup final. Since the restart, PSG has put in place a tailored program, taking the suspension into account.

Tottenham Get Transfer Boost as Newcastle Eye Alternative to £48M-Rated PSG Outcast - PSG Talk
Description

Randal Kolo Muani’s future is still up in the air, but it’s clear he won’t be staying at PSG. Last season, he impressed on loan at Juventus, contributing to 10 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.

With the transfer window open and no agreement yet between Juventus and PSG, the situation remains uncertain — and several Premier League clubs are watching closely.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus has offered a €10 million loan deal that includes a mandatory purchase clause if they qualify for the Champions League.

PSG, however, want a guaranteed fee between €40 million and €45 million. Chelsea, Newcastle, and especially Manchester United are all keeping a close eye on the French forward as a potential summer target.

Newcastle add striker to target list along with PSG outcast

Newcastle are reportedly considering a move to sign Samu Aghehowa from FC Porto, according to The Athletic. Nonetheless, it seems the Magpies are looking at their list of alternative targets to bolster their attack before the summer window closes.

On Friday, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Newcastle United have started negotiations for Kolo Muani, who has become a top target after their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko fell through. While exploring other targets, the club sees Kolo Muani as a concrete option.

TEAMtalk recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur are checking if Kolo Muani is interested in making the move to the Premier League.

PSG are reportedly asking for at least €55 million (£48 million / $64 million) for the forward, with around half of that expected upfront.

Juventus, on the other hand, aren’t willing to meet those demands and want to start with an offer closer to €15 million (£13 million / $17 million), which has slowed things down and caused some frustration at PSG.

TEAMtalk also says the Ligue 1 champions are now open to talks with other clubs, and Spurs have been kept informed throughout.

PSG Racing to Sign Aston Villa, Tottenham-Linked Standouts by Week’s End - PSG Talk
Description

PSG could bring in two new players this month if talks go well, as both are keen to join the French capital. The club is set to add a new No. 1 goalkeeper and strengthen their defense with another center-back.

L’Equipe recently reported that PSG have ramped up efforts to sign Lucas Chevalier, who is under contract until 2027. Negotiations for a five-year deal have started, and Chevalier has already agreed on most personal terms.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs recently reported that Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi has agreed to a five-year contract and is waiting for the two clubs to finalize a deal, despite interest from Tottenham.

Jacobs also mentioned that if the transfer goes through, the fee will likely be closer to Bournemouth’s €70 million asking price than the €60 million previously reported. However, some negotiations remain before the deal is made, but it looks like this is close to being done.

PSG are nearing the signing of two new players

On Thursday, RMC Sport reported that Luis Enrique wants Chevalier and Zabarnyi signed before Wednesday. The goalkeeper is expected to arrive in Paris within the next 24 hours. After securing Chevalier, PSG’s management is now moving quickly to finalize a deal for Zabarnyi with Bournemouth before the week is out.

❗️Après Chevalier, les dirigeants du PSG accélèrent sur Zabarnyi pour trouver un accord définitif avec Bournemouth avant la fin de la semaine ⏳

When it comes to Zabarnyi, PSG would have fended off Premier League interest after L’Equipe reported that Tottenham and Newcastle United remained in the mix and that both Premier League clubs were ready to meet Bournemouth’s demands immediately, if Zabarnyi gave them the green light.

Much like Zabarnyi, Chevalier also drew interest from a Premier League club. ESPN recently reported that Aston Villa have reached out to LOSC Lille about a potential move for Chevalier.

The Frenchman was considered a possible replacement for Emiliano Martínez, who is exploring a move away from the club. Nonetheless, it seems as though Aston Villa have look at other alternatives if they want to replace the Argentine.

Newcastle, Tottenham Remain in Mix for €70M-Rated PSG Target Amid Growing Frustration - PSG Talk
Description

PSG and Bournemouth had been locked in a stalemate over Illia Zabarnyi, with neither side willing to budge. But that now appears to be changing, as the French club moves closer to signing the Ukrainian defender.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano previously reported that Zabarnyi is keen on the move and even reached a verbal agreement with PSG back in June. Talks are expected to resume soon.

Despite some speculation, Romano made it clear there haven’t been any serious conversations with Tottenham Hotspur. He recently confirmed PSG are closing in on a deal, with negotiations with Bournemouth going smoothly and only a few minor details left to sort out.

Premier League clubs ready to jump in for PSG target

On Tuesday, L’Équipe reported that everyone involved in the Zabarnyi situation has been riding an emotional roller coaster in recent days—believing a deal was just hours away, only for optimism to quickly fade.

Despite the turbulence, PSG are still confident the Ukrainian defender will join them before the transfer window closes, according to the outlet.

The report also notes that the drawn-out saga is taking a toll on Zabarnyi. Like those around him, he’s reportedly struggling to understand why negotiations have dragged on for so long.

He remains firm in his desire to join PSG, but Tottenham and Newcastle United remain in the mix. L’Équipe adds that both Premier League clubs are ready to meet Bournemouth’s demands immediately, if Zabarnyi gives them the green light.

Recently, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG have reopened talks to sign Zabarnyi, who has already agreed to a five-year deal and is now waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement, despite interest from Tottenham.

Jacobs adds that if the move happens, the final fee is expected to be closer to Bournemouth’s €70 million asking price than the €60 million previously discussed. However, negotiations are still ongoing.
