Aston Villa, Tottenham Receive Transfer Boost as Man Utd Rejected Chance to Sign PSG-Linked Attacker - PSG Talk
Description

Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović is attracting plenty of interest this summer, with PSG, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa all reportedly keeping a close eye on the Serbian international.

Even though he’s under contract until 2026, Juventus seem open to moving him, largely due to his hefty wages and the financial pressure they’re putting on the club. PSG, meanwhile, are expected to revamp their front line, with both Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos rumored to be available.

CaughtOffside previously reported that PSG started tracking Vlahović earlier this year. Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked, potentially setting the stage for a bidding war. With only one year left on his deal after this season, Juventus could look to sell now rather than risk losing him for free in 2026.

Are Manchester United out for PSG target?

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United were offered the chance to sign Vlahović but chose to turn it down.

In his latest column for CaughtOffside, journalist Alfredo Pedulla shared an update on the Serbia international’s situation, suggesting the transfer saga could stretch into the final days of August.

“Dusan is waiting for the right opportunity, which I identified back in early June as being Milan,” Pedulla wrote. “Nearly two months have passed, and we’re still on that path. Of course, certain conditions need to be met (severance deal, affordable transfer fee and other possible factors), but it’s still a live option.

“And there’s an important detail: if you sign Vlahovic at the end of August, you save €2m net (around €4m gross) in wages for a couple of months. Definitely not small change. So, it’s better to let Dusan’s hourglass run out as much as possible.”

The future of Randal Kolo Muani remains uncertain even though it’s known that he won’t continue at PSG. Last season, Kolo Muani impressed during his loan spell at Juventus, notching 10 goal contributions in 19 appearances across all competitions.

But with the transfer window open and no agreement yet between Juventus and PSG, his future remains uncertain — and several Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the situation.

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Juventus submitted a €10 million loan bid for Kolo Muani, which includes a mandatory purchase clause if they qualify for the Champions League.

PSG, however, are pushing for a guaranteed fee in the €40 million to €45 million range. Chelsea, Newcastle, and especially Manchester United keep tabs on the French forward as a possible summer target.

What’s the latest on PSG outcast’s departure?

With a transfer still unresolved, Juventus CEO Damien Comolli spoke to Sky Sport Italia and expressed optimism that the two clubs can reach a deal.

“The relationship with PSG is excellent, the young man is pushing to return to Juve, but an agreement still needs to be reached,” Comolli said (h/t Le10Sport).

Foot Mercato recently reported that Tottenham are still aiming to bolster their attack and have already identified Kolo Muani as a target. More importantly, they’re willing to offer PSG a straight transfer deal, which the Parisian club would welcome.

But they’re not alone. The report adds that other top English sides are also in the mix. Manchester United and Newcastle United are searching for a long-term option up front, which could complicate matters for Juventus. The Italian club, still working to trim its squad and raise funds, may struggle to compete with the financial and competitive appeal of Kolo Muani’s other suitors.

Description

Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain after a quiet showing at the FIFA Club World Cup. With the transfer window now open, speculation about a possible move is gaining momentum.

PSG’s position remains unclear. Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé reported that the Brazilian forward is not currently a target for PSG, which contradicts information from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg. Plettenberg also said Tottenham Hotspur are not in the mix.

Still, Plettenberg noted that both Liverpool and PSG are monitoring Rodrygo. PSG have strong interest and continue their search for a top young winger, though any potential move could depend on how the market evolves in the coming weeks.

Liverpool, PSG get good news on Real Madrid standout

Rodrygo has been connected to several English clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, and more recently, Tottenham. Spurs could want him to become the new star of their team, especially with Heung-min Son reportedly heading to MLS.

Nonetheless, while Tottenham could spend the money needed for Rodrygo, Diario AS doesn’t believe the Premier League club will do anything wild to ensure that a deal happens.

“Spurs have already formally requested permission from Real Madrid to begin direct talks with the player, with the intention of making him the offensive star of the new project led by Thomas Frank,” Diario AS wrote.

“The signing won’t be easy: Madrid have set his price at €90 million. Tottenham have financial muscle following the arrival of a new investor, but they refuse to pay both the high wages and the full transfer fee at the same time.”

Randal Kolo Muani has made a strong impression during his loan spell at Juventus, tallying 10 goal contributions in 19 matches across all competitions.

However, with no agreement in place between Juventus and PSG and the transfer window underway, his future is still up in the air — and several Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Corriere dello Sport previously reported that Juventus have submitted a €10 million paid loan offer to PSG for Randal Kolo Muani. The deal includes a mandatory purchase option if Juventus qualifies for the Champions League.

PSG are pushing for a guaranteed transfer fee in the €40 million to €45 million range. Chelsea, Newcastle, and especially Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Kolo Muani ahead of a potential summer move.

Juventus could be running out of time

TuttoJuve’s Mirko Di Natale reports that Kolo Muani has made it clear, he really wants to stay and even said so during the Club World Cup. But at the same time, he won’t wait for Juventus forever.

He adds that Juventus are still trying to strike a deal, but they haven’t quite met PSG’s asking price yet. As for Tottenham, Di Natale reveals that they’re making a strong push. We’ll have to keep an eye on the Spurs and any other clubs who might jump into the mix.

Description

PSG and Bournemouth have been locked in a standoff over Illya Zabarnyi, with neither side willing to back down. But there could finally be a breakthrough, as the French club appears to be closing in on the Ukrainian defender.

According to a previous report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Zabarnyi is eager to join PSG, who are now preparing an improved offer. The Bournemouth defender reached a verbal agreement with the club in June, and talks are expected to reopen soon.

Despite speculation, Romano added that there have been no concrete discussions with Tottenham Hotspur.

New update on PSG-Illya Zabarnyi transfer saga

On Thursday, Romano reported that PSG are close to signing Zabarnyi. Talks with Bournemouth have gone well, and only a few minor details remain before the deal is finalized.

🚨🔴🔵 Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on Ilya Zabarnyi deal, here we go very soon!

Positive contact with Bournemouth, small details to be clarified and then Zabarnyi will join PSG.

Even though this transfer saga took several weeks to get to this point, the Parisians did face competition for Zabarnyi. CaughtOffside previously revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks to sign Zabarnyi as a potential replacement for Cristian Romero.

Tottenham are reportedly among the few clubs ready to meet Bournemouth’s full asking price for the defender. Newcastle United were also monitoring Zabarnyi as they look for a reliable partner for Sven Botman ahead of their Champions League return.

Meanwhile, Chelsea had Zabarnyi in their long-term center-back shortlist. There was also Liverpool who were exploring him as a potential successor to Ibrahima Konaté, though they have yet to make a formal move.

Nonetheless, the transfer still isn’t 100 percent officially done, and wild things can happen even when only a few details are left. It will be interesting to see how these next few days play out.

Tottenham Moving Closer to Selling €25M-Rated Star Before UEFA Super Cup Against PSG - PSG Talk
Description

PSG are set to take on Tottenham Hotspur on August 13 in the UEFA Super Cup, a high-profile clash that will open the 2025-26 season with a trophy on the line.

Tottenham could be without a prominent player ahead of the matchup, hoping to strengthen their squad before facing the reigning treble winners. While PSG was marching to the FIFA Club World Cup final and dominating last season, Chelsea would show this summer that the Parisians aren’t invincible.

Spurs have already brought in 24-year-old Mohammed Kudus and appointed Thomas Frank as their new manager. However, a key departure could be on the way out before this match, weakening Tottenham’s chances of pulling the upset against PSG.

Tottenham could sell key player before Super Cup against PSG

CaughtOffside reported Wednesday, citing sources, that Son Heung-min is getting closer to a stunning move to Major League Soccer, with LAFC in advanced talks to sign the Tottenham star.

Negotiations have reportedly picked up recently, as LAFC enters a crucial stage of discussions with Tottenham and Son’s representatives.

If the deal goes through, the South Korean forward could join Los Angeles soon after Tottenham’s pre-season friendly against Newcastle United in Seoul on August 3. Should Son leave Spurs on this date, it would be before the Super Cup, and the Premier League side will be without a significant attacking threat.

Spurs reportedly value the 31-year-old attacker at around €25 million. With his contract set to expire in less than a year, he played a key role last season, scoring 11 goals and assisting 12 as Spurs capped off the campaign by winning the Europa League.

Description

PSG and Bournemouth have been at a standoff regarding defender Illya Zabarnyi as the two sides are unwilling to concede their stance. Nonetheless, there might be light at the end of the tunnel and the Parisians could be on the verge of landing the Ukrainian standout.

Recently, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Zabarnyi is eager to join PSG, with the French club preparing an improved offer.

The Bournemouth defender reached a verbal agreement with PSG in June, and the club is expected to reopen talks with Bournemouth soon. Romano added that there have been no active discussions with Tottenham despite some speculation.

Could PSG be nearing an agreement for Illya Zabarnyi?

RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports that the Zabarnyi deal is progressing, as PSG’s latest offer to Bournemouth—including proposed bonuses—has reduced the gap between the two clubs to less than €5 million. However, no agreement in principle has been reached yet, and negotiations are still ongoing.

BBC Sport’s Nizaar Kinsella recently reported that PSG and Bournemouth are making progress in negotiations for Zabarnyi. The two sides have agreed on a guaranteed €60 million fee, but discussions are ongoing over add-ons, with Bournemouth pushing for a total package closer to €70 million.

Meanwhile, the Premier League side has already started working on finding a replacement for the Ukrainian defender. CaughtOffside previously revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks to sign Zabarnyi as a potential replacement for Cristian Romero.

Tottenham are reportedly among the few clubs ready to meet Bournemouth’s full asking price for the defender. Newcastle United also monitors Zabarnyi as they look for a reliable partner for Sven Botman ahead of their Champions League return.

Chelsea include Zabarnyi in their long-term center-back shortlist, while Liverpool explore him as a potential successor to Ibrahima Konaté, though they have yet to make a formal move.

Tottenham Eye Leicester City Standout as Potential UEFA Super Cup Arrivial to Face PSG - PSG Talk
Description

PSG will face Tottenham Hotspur in 15 days for the UEFA Super Cup to kickstart their 2025-26 season. Nonetheless, Spurs could be looking to secure a player in time for this marquee matchup that allows one team to lift a trophy.

While PSG won the treble and marched to the FIFA Club World Cup final, the Parisians are beatable as Chelsea showed. Still, it will be a challenge for Tottenham to pull off what their Premier League rival did this summer.

Tottenham have added 24-year-old Mohammed Kudus to the squad, along with new manager Thomas Frank as they look to pull off the upset. However, one more move could be in the works ahead of the Super Cup final.

Can Tottenham add another player before facing PSG?

TBR Football reports that Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss has now emerged as a significant target. The report claims that El Khannouss could be available for around £25 million (€29 million / $33 million), though it’s also been rumored the Morocco international has a £22.5 million relegation release clause in his contract.

El Khannouss had an impressive first season in the Premier League with Leicester City and was one of the team’s top performers, even as the Foxes were relegated to the Championship.

His strong displays have caught the eye of several clubs, and there are unconfirmed reports that Leeds United are among those weighing up a move for the talented 21-year-old. The question will be whether this is a saga that’s wrapped up in a few days to have him ready for the Super Cup or drags on until the window closes.

Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain following an underwhelming showing at the FIFA Club World Cup. With the transfer window now open, speculation about a potential move is gaining momentum.

PSG’s role in the situation remains unclear. According to Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé, the Brazilian forward is not currently a target for PSG, contradicting a report from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also stated that Tottenham Hotspur are not pursuing him.

Still, Plettenberg has maintained that both Liverpool and PSG are keeping a close watch on Rodrygo. PSG have shown real interest and continue to search for a top young winger, though any move will likely depend on how the market develops in the coming weeks.

What’s the latest on Liverpool, PSG transfer target?

According to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, Rodrygo isn’t interested in joining Tottenham, despite recent speculation. While Spurs are said to have made an inquiry, there are no active talks. If the Brazilian leaves Real Madrid, his sights are set on a club with a higher profile than Tottenham.

CaughtOffside reported Saturday that Real Madrid explored a bold move to tempt Manchester City into talks—offering Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and €40 million in exchange for Rodri.

But Manchester City have no plans to part ways with one of their key players. Under new sporting director Hugo Viana, the club is working on a contract extension that would keep Rodri at the Etihad through the 2029–2030 season, hoping to lock in his long-term future and shut down any transfer speculation.

Lille Contact Tottenham Over Loan Deal to Replace €40M-Rated PSG Transfer Target - PSG Talk
Description

PSG are dealing with growing uncertainty at the goalkeeper position, and LOSC Lille’s Lucas Chevalier is emerging as a potential long-term solution. The 23-year-old French shot-stopper has drawn strong interest as the summer transfer window picks up steam.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is still under contract through 2026, but his future remains unclear with no extension in place. Moreover, L’Équipe reported Saturday that the club has advanced its pursuit of the LOSC goalkeeper, who is under contract until 2027.

Talks over a five-year deal began several days ago, and Chevalier has already reached a broad agreement with PSG. Furthermore, only minor details remain as Lille prepare for formal negotiations. A deal is expected to cost at least €40 million, a figure PSG have already reviewed internally and are ready to meet.

Lille begin search for PSG target’s replacement

According to L’Équipe (h/t Le10Sport), the northern French team would like to recruit a replacement for its goalkeeper before accepting his departure.

Lille club chief Olivier Létang would therefore currently be looking for the ideal profile, which could well be Antonín Kinský, who belongs to Tottenham Hotspur. The report adds that negotiations are even underway with Spurs for a loan.
