Tottenham Hotspur are willing to negotiate the departure of Pedro Porro for the right price amidst interest from Manchester City.

According to a report from TBR, Tottenham are ready to part ways with Pedro Porro if they receive a significant financial offer. While the Spanish full-back has been a consistent performer for Ange Postecoglou’s team, they could look to cash in on him this summer.

Porro was a part of the Manchester City setup back in the day but he never got an opportunity to feature for their first team. He parted ways with them to join Portuguese giants Sporting CP, before returning to England three years later to sign for Tottenham in early 2023.

While it was an initial loan deal, the move was made permanent six months down the line. Porro has certainly gone from strength to strength over the last few seasons. The North London haven’t had the best of seasons this time around but the Spanish international has certainly done his bit.

He has been involved in a total of 46 matches and has managed to contribute towards 11 goals (3 goals, 8 assists). He has established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in the Premier League and it has resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe.

Spurs are ready to sell Porro

While he is a key figure in the team, Spurs are considering cashing in on him. Djed Spence could end up taking over as their first-choice right-back. The English full-back has made most of the opportunities that he has had at left-back with Destiny Udogie out injured.

Tottenham are now looking to deploy him in his preferred right-back role, which could open the door for Pedro Porro’s departure. While Spurs generally manage their finances well, they are planning a big summer and offloading a few players could help balance the books.
