And the defense is certainly one area of the pitch where Inter will want to strengthen.

The Nerazzurri are looking to revitalize their backline. They are well aware that they cannot rely on veterans like Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij forever.

Moreover, the possibility of a sale of Yann Bisseck this summer would mean even more of a need to sign a defender.

Inter Milan Still In Race To Sign CMNT & Ligue 1 Striker Amid Newcastle, Aston Villa & Tottenham Interest - SempreInter.com
Description

Inter Milan are not yet out of the race as Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Spurs target Jonathan David is yet to decide his future.

This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri are waiting to strike, and see if the Canadian lowers his wage demands.

Lille striker Jonathan David has certainly been on Inter Milan’s radar for a while.

The 25-year-old has confirmed that he will leave Lille on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.

And Inter are certainly a club with a penchant for big name free transfers.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri have already courted David over the last year or so. This included a visit by the Canadian international’s agent to the San Siro.

However, towards the end of 2024, it seemed as though Inter had cooled their interest in signing David significantly.

There are a couple of reasons for this.

First of all, Jonathan David reportedly wants to join a club where he will be a first-choice starter. It would be hard for Inter to guarantee the Canadian this, considering the presence of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Then, there would be David’s demands on personal terms.

On the one hand, Inter are ready to invest in an attacking signing next summer. There will be room in the budget once they offload the wages of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa.

But David has reportedly made his demands clear of wages in the region of €6-7 million net per season, as well as a €10 million sign-on bonus.

Inter Not Out Of The Race For Newcastle, Villa & Spurs Target Jonathan David

Due to these factors, Inter have not yet made a decisive move to try and sign Jonathan David.

That does not mean, however, that the Nerazzurri have lost their interest in the Canadian’s signature entirely.

On the contrary. According to FCIN, Inter have simply been waiting patiently to seen how David’s situation develops.

The Canadian himself has not hidden that his preference would be a transfer to Barcelona.

However, with Robert Lewandowski still in outstanding form even well into his thirties, it may be hard for David to convince the Blaugranas to sign him. Particularly with their well-known financial issues.

Meanwhile, there have been some offers from the Premier League. According to FCIN, the likes of Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen to sign David.

But the outlet note that David has not really warmed to the idea of joining any of these English clubs.

Therefore, the Canadian international has not yet made a decision about his future.

And this has kept Inter’s interest in signing David alive.

The Nerazzurri expect that, should the 25-year-old go much longer without receiving an offer from a club that he wants to join, he may lower his demands.

And in that event, Inter may feel that it is the right moment to strike.

This would be similar to the strategy that Inter employed to sign Marcus Thuram in 2023.

Report – Inter Milan Line Up Summer Bid For Lazio Star Winger Amid Tottenham Hotspur Interest - SempreInter.com
Description

Inter Milan will challenge Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of sought-after Lazio winger Gustav Isaksen this summer.

According to La Repubblica via Calciomercato, the Nerazzurri have earmarked the Danish star as a concrete target.

Gustav Isaksen has been one of Marco Baroni’s most trusted allies this season.

Indeed, he has made 39 appearances for Lazio in all competitions, tallying five goals and five assists.

Furthermore, his scintillating form at the Stadio Olimpico has not gone unnoticed.

Inter Milan to Rival Tottenham Hotspur for Lazio Star Gustav Isaksen

Isaksen’s contract in the capital runs out in 2028, putting Lazio in a strong bargaining position ahead of the summer.

Therefore, Baroni’s charges may ask for an eye-watering €40 million to sanction the Denmark international’s departure.

That would ring particularly true if Spurs were to launch an effort to lure the 23-year-old away from Serie A.

Indeed, the Premier League clubs have become notorious for inflating players’ prices in the market.

Man United and Tottenham Hotspur are both eyeing up Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi as a potential target on the bench.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the two struggling giants of English football both want to bring the 48-year-old to the Premier League.

Simone Inzaghi is now in his fourth season as Inter Milan coach.

The former Lazio boss has certainly won many admirers for his work at the San Siro.

Inter Milan won the Serie A title last season. They have also won five other pieces of domestic silverware since Inzaghi’s arrival in 2021.

Moreover, Inter Milan stirred the imagination of many well beyond Italy’s borders with their run to the Champions League final in the 2022-23 season/

And this season has been more of the same. At the moment, Inter sit top of the Serie A table.

And the Nerazzurri have one foot in the Champions League quarterfinals. They face Feyenoord in the second leg of a round of sixteen tie tomorrow, taking a 2-0 advantage from the first leg.

Once again, it is Inter’s European exploits that are really catching the eye of teams around the continent. They have conceded just one goal in the competition so far this campaign.

Man United & Tottenham Dream Of Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi

Inevitably, Inzaghi’s work at Inter Milan has raised interest in him from teams outside of Serie A.

And according to Tuttosport, there are two teams in England in particular who are keen on the 48-year-old.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both looking to pull themselves out of dire current situations.

Both clubs currently find themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League table. Far from their ambitions to compete in the Champions League on a regular basis.

Therefore, the jobs of Red Devils coach Ruben Amorim and Lillywhites boss Ange Postecoglou are both at risk this summer.

And according to Tuttosport, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi would be a dream target for both English clubs.

Naturally, prising Inzaghi away from Inter won’t be easy. So far, the former Lazio coach has stayed loyal to the Nerazzurri project despite intermittent interest from other big clubs.

However, that doesn’t mean that an attempt couldn’t be made.

As things stand, Inzaghi’s contract runs out at the end of next summer. However, the Nerazzurri will certainly aim to stave off interest in their coach with a new deal as soon as possible.

Spurs and Aston Villa have joined Galatasaray in trying to sign former Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar from Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to French outlet L’Equipe, via FCInterNews. They report that there is certainly no doubt that the Slovakian will depart from the French capital this month.

Skriniar has found himself decisively out of the first team plans at PSG.

The former Sampdoria defender made the move to the Parc des Princes from Inter in the summer of 2023. He did so on a free transfer, after a tumultuous transfer saga that saw him reject Inter’s offer of a contract extension.

Things have decidedly not gone according to plan for Skriniar in Paris, however.

PSG coach Luis Enrique has never really rated the 29-year-old. That has meant that Skriniar’s playing time has dwindled, while his form has suffered.

Spurs & Aston Villa Join Galatasaray In The Race To Sign Milan Skriniar

Skriniar had stayed at PSG over the summer despite the fact that he was very much out of the project by that point.

However, the Slovakian international has hardly seen an uptick in his playing time over the first half of this season.

Therefore, Skriniar will leave in the January transfer window.

Galatasaray have shown a strong interest in Skriniar’s signature. They have been trying to negotiate a loan deal where they would cover his full wages.

For their part, PSG are aiming to sell Skriniar on a permanent basis. Or at the very least, send him out on loan with a purchase obligation.

And Galatasaray are not the only team with an interest in signing the 29-year-old, reports L’Equipe.

From the Premier League, both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have come forward, according to the outlet.

Inter Milan would only sell Spurs and West Ham United target Yann Bisseck in the face of a massive offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Bisseck has proven to be a real breakout talent for Inter over the last year and a half.

The Nerazzurri signed the German from Aarhus in the summer of 2023. At the time, he was far from a household name, as he had only really made his name in the Danish top flight.

However, Inter backed Bisseck to grow into the first team.

And that is exactly what the 24-year-old has done.

After spending the first few months of last season settling in, Bisseck started to get opportunities in the starting eleven through the second half of the campaign.

And this time around, the 24-year-old has been a regular in the Inter starting eleven. This has been the case both in Serie A and the Champions League.

Inter Would Only Sell Spurs & West Ham United Target Yann Bisseck For Massive Offer

Naturally, Bisseck’s form has attracted some transfer interest.

And the Corriere confirm that two London clubs are foremost among the German’s suitors.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have shown a strong interest in signing Bisseck.

And it is not as though Inter would not listen to offers for the 24-year-old.

However, the Corriere warns, the Nerazzurri would only consider extremely large bids for Bisseck.

Inter see the German as a future pillar of their starting eleven and top-class defender at the European level.

Therefore, a fee to sign Bisseck would have to reflect that.

This according to UK outlet Caught Offside, via FCInter1908. They report that the two London clubs could go higher than €40 million with a bid for the German.

Bisseck has proven to be a real breakout talent for Inter over the last year and a half.

The Nerazzurri signed the German from Aarhus in the summer of 2023. At the time, he was far from a household name, as he had only really made his name in the Danish top flight.

Spurs & West Ham “Crazy” About Inter Defender Yann Bisseck

According to UK outlet, Bisseck’s form has caught the eye of a couple Premier League teams in particular.

The outlet report that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are both very keen on the German.

Of course, persuading Inter to sell a player like Bisseck would hardly be easy.

The 24-year-old is a regular starter for the Nerazzurri. Therefore, he would constitute a major loss if they were to sell him.

However, according to Caught Offside, Spurs and West Ham would be ready to go above 35 million British pounds with an offer for the German.

That would be equivalent to around €42 million.

Therefore, the two Premier League clubs could be hoping that an offer of this size would soften Inter’s resolve.

Monza are still hoping to pull of a surprise move to sign former Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic on a free transfer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

In the last couple days of the summer transfer window, two Serie A clubs have been eyeing up a very high-profile transfer.

Both Monza and Como had been linked with a move for Perisic as the window drew to a close.

The 35-year-old already has extensive experience in Serie A.

Perisic joined Inter from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015. This followed spells with the likes of Club Brugge and Wolfsburg.

And Perisic certainly built a positive reputation for himself during his time at Inter.

The Croat spent a total of seven seasons as a Nerazzurri player. The 2019-20 campaign, however, saw him go out on loan to Bayern Munich, where he won the European Treble.

But in his last two seasons at Inter, Perisic enjoyed fine form.

The Croatian international helped Inter to the Serie A title in the 2020-21 campaign. And in the 2021-22 season, his last at the club, Perisic found his most outstanding individual form playing at wingback.

Monza Still Eyeing Up Ex Inter Veteran Ivan Perisic

Inter responded to Perisic’s exceptional 2021-22 season by offering the winger a new contract.

However, the Croat decided to instead join Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.

Perisic was a regular in the Spurs lineup during the 2022-23 season.

However, a serious knee injury in 2023 seriously disrupted Perisic’s season.

The Croat then eventually joined Hajduk Split in his native Croatia.

However, Perisic eventually terminated his contract with Split. He did so a couple of days ago.

Both Monza and Como eyed up a surprise free transfer deal to bring Perisic back to the Italian top flight.

However, neither of the two Lombard clubs got the deal over the line before the transfer deadline passed.

According to the Gazzetta, however, Monza are still aiming to sign Perisic.

The Brianzoli want to take advantage of the fact that the 35-year-old is a free agent.

Giovanni Lo Celso has been offered to Lazio, whilst Inter Milan and Napoli would be unlikely destinations for the Argentine.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews.

Lo Celso looks to be a player who will leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The 28-year-old has been with the North London club since the summer of 2019. He joined from Real Betis, having previously played for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain.

During his time at Spurs, however, Lo Celso has struggled to really make his mark.

The Argentine has had two loan spells with Villarreal.

These proved to be fairly successful. As he had with Real Betis, Lo Celso enjoyed regular playing time back in La Liga.

In fact, Lo Celso was a regular starter on the way to Villarreal reaching the semifinal stage of the Champions League under Unai Emery.

However, Villarreal did not sign Lo Celso permanently. Therefore, he returned to Spurs last summer.

Giovanni Lo Celso Offered To Lazio – Inter & Napoli Unlikely Destinations

Last season, Lo Celso was part of the Tottenham first team under former Celtic coach Ange Postecoglu.

However, the Argentine did not feature regularly.

Given this relative lack of playing time, it is little surprise that Lo Celso is not considered to be a part of the plans for next season at Spurs.

As such, the Premier League side are looking to offload the Argentine.

Lo Celso’s representatives have been looking into Serie A as a potential destination for the 28-year-old.

La Repubblica report that agents offered Lo Celso to Lazio.

However, the Biancocelesti are cool on the idea of signing the Argentine. Particularly in view of his high wages.

Meanwhile, La Repubblica report, there would be little chance of Lo Celso making the move to either Inter or Napoli within Serie A.

The Nerazzurri and the Partenopei do not really play with a midfielder of Lo Celso’s profile under their respective coaches Simone Inzaghi and Antonio Conte.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly placed their price for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who is heading towards the exit door, with Inter Milan emerging as one of his suitors.

The 28-year-old cemented himself as a protagonist for the Spurs after making the move from Southampton in 2020.

However, the Dane fell down in the pecking order following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou last summer. The Australian manager prefers the likes of Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr.

Therefore, Hojbjerg has been pushing for an exit since January. Many believe the midfielder will leave this summer, as this will be Tottenham’s last chance to recuperate a decent transfer fee since his contract will expire in 2025.

So according to TuttoMercatoWeb, the North Londoners have set their price at 15 million euros.

As the source explains, both Inter and AC Milan have inquired about Hojbjerg over the last few weeks.

Moreover, Atletico Madrid have been keeping tabs on the Denmark international for quite some time now.

Tottenham Asking For 15 Million Euros To Part Ways With Inter & AC Milan Target Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

The player currently earns 3.3 million euros per season. Nevertheless, the source believes he could be willing to lower his demands in favor of joining a new club since he’s entering his final contractual year and appears desperate for a move.

But it remains to be seen if Inter would pursue the Danish star given that Simone Inzaghi is already spoiled for choice in the middle of the park.

Despite his underwhelming campaign in the English capital, Hojbjerg remains a protagonist for Denmark.

The former Bayern Munich man should be in the starting lineup when the Scandinavians take on Germany in the Euro 2024 Round of 16 this evening in Dortmund.
