Arsenal ‘are close to agreeing’ a fee with Crystal Palace to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of Eberechi Eze, according to journalist John Percy.

Spurs have been holding talks with Palace to get a deal over the line for Eze and only recently it had been suggested they had agreed a deal in principle to sign him.

Eze has been keen to make the move to north London, but the north London club he ends up at may well now not be Tottenham, in what would be a bitter blow for Thomas Frank’s side.

Arsenal are ‘close to agreeing a fee’ to sign Eze from Palace and the total package would be worth over £60m.

It is suggested that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is spearheading the talks as the club close in on hijacking a swoop Spurs felt they were well advanced with.

Arsenal have recently suffered a blow with an injury to Kai Havertz and Eze represents an option to come in and fill that hole.

Now the Gunners will look to get the deal over the line quickly, leaving Tottenham, who have taken their time with transfer talks, in the dust.

Only at the weekend it emerged that Tottenham’s talks with Crystal Palace for Eze had become difficult, but it did look as if they had got over that hurdle.

Tottenham have been blindsided by Arsenal’s forceful entry into the race and Crystal Palace will also be keen for a deal to happen quickly.

Palace want to sign Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss to come in and replace Eze.

However, talks with the Foxes have slowed as Crystal Palace would like the Eze deal done and dusted before they proceed.

It remains to be seen if Tottenham have any more tricks up their sleeve in the race or whether Eze is now certain to be playing his football at the Emirates this season.

Eberechi Eze’s move to Tottenham Hotspur not having been completed is an issue that is slowing Crystal Palace‘s bid to sign Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City.

Palace are in talks with Tottenham to let Eze move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, which is a move the player wants.

It was suggested earlier this week that there is now an agreement in principle between both clubs, but no deal has gone through yet despite that.

Crystal Palace see Leicester’s El Khannouss as the man to come in and replace Eze at Selhurst Park and are making efforts in that direction.

There is no agreement between the Eagles and the Foxes, with the two sides holding more talks today.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the payment terms of the prospective deal and the fact that Eze’s deal has not been completed ‘is the issue’.

Discussions are continuing as both sides try to find an agreement to let El Khannouss move to Selhurst Park.

El Khannouss has been clear he wants to move on from Leicester, now in the Championship, and Crystal Palace are his preferred destination.

Despite Leicester enduring a dire season in the Premier League last term and being relegated as a result, El Khannouss’ stock rose on the back of his fine performances.

Replacing Eze in the Crystal Palace squad would be a big ask for any player, but the Eagles feel that the Moroccan has a chance of doing so.

Crystal Palace will have to do without El Khannouss for several games at the end of the year if they do sign him.

Morocco are due to host the Africa Cup of Nations and El Khannouss will be aiming to play a key role for his country during the tournament.

Galatasaray are ‘preparing to make an official offer’ for out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Mali midfield star has been at Spurs for three years, but this summer, he could be heading out of the club, with Thomas Frank shaking things up.

The 28-year-old defensive midfielder has been linked with several sides over the course of the summer.

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce looked closely at taking Bissouma to Turkey, but they eventually decided not to make an offer for him.

However, recently, he has been linked with two Premier League clubs in the shape of West Ham and Everton.

The Malian prefers to stay in England if he does depart Tottenham, but that is not putting off clubs abroad from trying to tempt him.

According to Turkish daily Takvim (via Fanatik), Turkish champions Galatasaray are now ‘preparing to make an official offer’ for Bissouma.

The Cimbom have made the high-profile signings of Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane this summer, and they want the Spurs man to add to their midfield quality.

Moving to Galatasaray would hand Bissouma the chance to play in the Champions League this season, which he would not get at either Everton or West Ham.

While Galatasaray may well be able to strike a deal with Spurs for Bissouma, the issue could come in selling the move to the midfielder.

He is closing in on being able to take British citizenship and moving to Galatasaray could scupper that.

The Turkish side though are packed full of top talents and that could prove to be too much for Bissouma to resist if he has the opportunity.

Tottenham Hotspur are now set to miss out on Brazilian winger Savinho, as he is ‘set to stay’ at Manchester City this summer.

Spurs have been active this month to bring in attacking players as they aim to improve massively in the Premier League and they are also back in the Champions League.

Mohammed Kudus came from West Ham United on a big-money deal and even though they were ready to pay Morgan Gibbs-White’s release clause, Nottingham Forest stopped the deal from happening.

Daniel Levy, though, did not back down, and Spurs have made huge progress towards Eberechi Eze, with an agreement in principle in place for the Crystal Palace man.

One more Premier League star they have been looking to sign is Manchester City’s 21-year-old winger Savinho.

The Cityzens rejected two bids for the Brazilian from Spurs, but it has been felt there was potentially a deal to be done.

And it was suggested that the Brazilian winger’s agents would be coming to London this week as they aim to unlock the deal.

However, things have not gone according to plan for Spurs, as Savinho is now ‘set to stay’ at the Etihad, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

Real Madrid star Rodrygo, who has been linked with the Cityzens, has not asked to leave the La Liga giants, and that deal may well not happen now.

And now Pep Guardiola now appears to want to keep hold of Savinho, who joined the English giants last summer from Troyes.

Whether that is the last word on the matter remains to be seen, as Spurs have shown they are hugely keen on Savinho.

Tottenham could still try to tempt Manchester City with a fresh offer, but as things stand it appears Savinho will still be in sky blue this season.

Tottenham Hotspur ‘have reached an agreement’ in principle now with Crystal Palace for Eberechi Eze, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Spurs started their new season with a 3-0 win against newly promoted Burnley at the weekend, putting in an impressive display under new boss Thomas Frank.

With less than two weeks to go in the summer transfer window, the north Londoners are pushing to bring in crucial players for the first team.

Crystal Palace superstar Eze, who had a goal disallowed at the weekend against Chelsea, has been their top target to replace the injured James Maddison.

Spurs have been actively looking to convince the Eagles to agree on a deal in recent weeks for the 27-year-old attacking midfielder.

At the weekend, talks even hit choppy waters for Eze, as he played 84 minutes against the Blues on Sunday.

On Monday, though, it was suggested that Spurs supremo Daniel Levy will be ‘direct contact’ with Palace chairman Steve Parish to close a deal for the England international.

And now the north Londoners have made a big stride towards the Palace maverick, as an agreement in principle is now present between Spurs and the Eagles for Eze.

The Crystal Palace superstar has been pushing to make a move to Tottenham since last week, with personal terms already settled.

Eze has shown his quality at Selhurst Park time and again since he joined Palace five years back from QPR.

And after 169 Palace appearances, he could be heading out to Spurs, who will be playing the Champions League this year.

It was suggested that Tottenham would offer a £60m package for the England attacking midfielder, and it remains to be seen if they will be able to secure him before they play Manchester City on Sunday.

Crystal Palace are keen on Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss, who could serve as their replacement for Eze.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur have hit choppy waters this evening in talks with Crystal Palace over signing Eberechi Eze, as discussions have become ‘difficult’.

Thomas Frank’s men, who crushed Burnley 3-0 in their Premier League opener on Saturday, have been putting in work to get a deal for Eze over the line in recent hours.

With the player keen to make the move and Crystal Palace aware of that, Tottenham have been aiming to sign him for around the £60m mark.

Spurs have had confidence that a deal would be done and they would pluck him from Selhurst Park, but matters do not appear to be as simple as that.

Talks between the two clubs have ‘become difficult over this evening’, according to journalist Miguel Delaney.

What the sticking points are remains to be seen, but Palace are not keen on losing Eze and will want a replacement bringing in if he does go.

They have made an approach for Leicester City midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, who could be seen as someone who could come in and fill the void created by a departure for Eze.

Club Years QPR 2016-2020 Wycombe Wanderers (loan) 2017-2018 Crystal Palace 2020- Eberechi Eze’s career history

For Tottenham, Eze’s £68m release clause has now expired and they need to negotiate a fee with Crystal Palace if a move is to happen.

All eyes will now switch towards Palace’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea on Sunday to see if Eze is at all involved.

The attacking midfielder played a key role in helping Crystal Palace to win the FA Cup last season and make Eagles history.

They will play in the Conference League this season due to falling foul of UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules.

A move to Tottenham though would put Eze into the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur have ‘confidence a deal is close’ to land Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Spurs are keen to strengthen their options going forward before the transfer window closes and have been trying to sign Savinho from Manchester City.

Despite Manchester City so far resisting bids from Spurs, Savinho’s agents are travelling to England next week to try to unlock the deal.

Eze is another deal that Spurs are working on and the player is pushing Crystal Palace to allow him to make the move.

Now, according to journalist Alex Crook, Tottenham have ‘confidence a deal is close’ and they are looking at a £60m package, with the player’s £68m release clause having expired.

Palace are currently considering whether Eze should be involved in Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea.

Losing Eze would be a huge blow for Crystal Palace, especially as they could also lose defender Marc Guehi before the transfer window closes.

Club Years QPR 2016-2020 Wycombe Wanderers (loan) 2017-2018 Crystal Palace 2020- Eberechi Eze’s career history

Striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is also drawing attention, with Newcastle United considering him to be a possible replacement for Alexander Isak.

Spurs sent out a statement of intent in their Premier League opener against Burnley on Saturday, crushing the Clarets 3-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Richarlison helped himself to a brace in the game, while Brennan Johnson also found the back of the net.

Coming hot on the heels of pushing Paris Saint-Germain all the way in the UEFA Super Cup final, that is likely to make Spurs even more appealing to Eze.

Now all eyes are on whether Spurs will be able to find an agreement with Crystal Palace for Eze, who would be playing in the Champions League this season if he manages to make the switch to north London.

‘Pushing To Join Tottenham’ – Spurs Target Desperate For Move As ‘Conflict Looming’

Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is pushing to join Tottenham Hotspur, as he has already agreed personal terms with the north Londoners and a conflict between the Eagles and the midfielder is looming.

Looking to build on their Europa League success and qualification for the Champions League, Tottenham are picking up the pace in the transfer market.

Mohammed Kudus has been brought in to improve the attack, while experienced holding midfielder Joao Palhinha joined on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich.

James Maddison’s long-term injury and club legend Heung-min Son’s departure have made them look for quality attackers.

Palace number 10 Eze has been identified as a top target, and the Selhurst Park outfit are well-informed about the situation.

The 27-year-old England international is now ready to leave Selhurst Park and he is ‘pushing to join Tottenham’, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

He has already agreed personal terms with Spurs and wants Crystal Palace to let him leave Selhurst Park.

Oliver Glasner’s side play against Chelsea on Sunday and he is expected not to be part of the Palace squad in their opening league game of the season, with ‘conflict looming’.

The transfer window shuts down on 1st September and Crystal Palace may well have to step on the accelerator to find a replacement for Eze, especially if he pushes to go.

Eze has been at Crystal Palace since 2020 and he has 168 appearances for the Eagles to his name, scoring 40 times and assisting 28 times in the process.

Tottenham are simultaneously working to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, whose agents are expected to fly to London to ‘unlock’ his transfer early next week.

If Spurs could land both Eze and Savinho before the window closes then that would be seen as a big statement of intent.

Savinho’s agents will travel to north London early next week to ‘unlock’ his transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, after Manchester City rejected Spurs’ second bid for the winger.

Following the arrival of the impressive Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, Spurs have been looking to bring in at least another marquee attacking signing.

Heung Min-Son’s departure to the MLS and James Maddison’s serious injury have left the north Londoners thin with attacking options, and they are targeting players within the Premier League.

Crystal Palace superstar Eberechi Eze is a player they like very much, and the Eagles are well informed that Spurs want him.

However, they are focusing on trying to agree a deal with Manchester City for Brazilian attacker Savinho.

The Cityzens rejected a €50m bid from Spurs, but it was suggested that the deal is very much on, and now they have submitted their second bid.

Even though the most recent bid is worth €70m, it also got turned down by the Manchester-based club.

Winger Club Rodrygo Real Madrid Savinho Manchester City Wingers linked with Tottenham Hotspur

Now, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Burgos, the representatives of the Brazil winger will travel to London to ‘unlock the transfer’.

The Cityzens signed him last summer from one of their sister clubs, Troyes, and he played close to 50 games in his first campaign.

Savinho registered 13 assists in his debut campaign and Pep Guardiola’s side are ready to let him go, but only for a price they feel reflects his true value.

The 21-year-old’s contract does not expire for four more years now and they are in a very strong position to demand a mammoth fee for him.

Spurs will hope that next week, they will be in a better position to do a deal when the player’s agents take a trip to London and hold talks over their client.
