Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ‘favourites’ to beat Liverpool and Arsenal to the signing of RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Xavi Simons this summer.

Spurs have ended the Premier League campaign in 17th place, just one position above the relegation zone, but those league woes have been largely forgiven thanks to Europa League success. Nonetheless, better is needed next year, whether or not Ange Postecoglou remains in charge.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to invest in the upcoming summer transfer window to climb back up the Premier League and are now boosted by being able to offer Champions League football to any targets. One of those could be 22-year-old Simons.

Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Arsenal in Xavi Simons race

Fichajes claims that Spurs are ‘favourites’ to sign the RB Leipzig man, who has also been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. The outlet claims that Simons has now become a priority for Daniel Levy and Tottenham Hotspur. The German club are set to demand at least €80 million for the player, roughly £67 million.

The report adds that Spurs have indeed bolstered their position in the transfer race thanks to earning a spot in the Champions League next term. Simons has made 33 appearances this season with 11 goals and eight assists.

The midfielder is a product of the Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain youth academies and has also spent time at PSV. He won Ligue 1 with PSG in 2022 and the DFL-Supercup with RB Leipzig in 2023. Simons has won Bundesliga Goal of the Month and Rookie of the Month twice, as well as Eredivisie Talent of the Year in 2023.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou has also given his opinion on rumours that centre-back Cristian Romero could quit the club this summer. The Argentine has been linked with a move to La Liga and only added fuel to those rumours by admitting that he would enjoy a move to the league.

Ange Postecoglou confronts Cristian Romero transfer rumours

Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been linked with the 27-year-old. Spanish journalist Rubén Uría has claimed in recent weeks that Romero has given the green light to a five-year contract offer from the Spanish outfit with the player himself explicitly outlining his desire to play in La Liga. Shortly after the Premier League defeat to Nottingham Forest, quotes shared with Argentine journalist Gastón Edul on his TV show 'Los Edu' started to circulate.

Romero said: “I’d love to play La Liga. I’d love to, honestly. It depends on a lot of things. We’ll see after the [English] championship is over. The truth is, I haven’t spoken to my agent yet, but I’m open to anything. My goal is always to grow and go to new places to continue developing.

“Above all else, I try to take one day at a time. There are two months left until the end of the season and I’m always thinking about performing at my best. We’re in the Europa League semi-finals. It’s an important step for the club which hasn’t reached this stage for so many years. I’d like to win it.”

However, should Postecoglou stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he hopes Romero does too. In a transfer hint to Levy, the Spurs manager said: “I think Romero is absolutely important to keep at this football club.

“You just saw the way he's been in recent games and he hasn't been entirely fit with his toe. The lads respect him highly and he makes them walk taller. For me it's a no brainer with players like him. If he goes who do you replace him with? There aren't a lot of players out there like him. It's very important to keep him and for the long term.”

West Ham have ended a turbulent Premier League season in 14th. That’s the lowest place for the Hammers since 2020 and more is needed next season.

For Graham Potter, planning for the 2025/26 season must start now. The former Chelsea and Brighton manager has only been in the hotseat since January but now has the whole summer to prepare to prove his worth next term.

It’s blindingly obvious that West Ham need to improve their squad. Last summer’s window was nothing short of dreadful when it came to recruitment. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been the only real triumph.

West Ham must improve transfer dealings

Max Kilman has improved over the campaign but the £40 million splurged on him still looks overpriced while injury-plagued Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug have struggled to get on the pitch. Meanwhile, loanees Carlos Soler and Guido Rodriguez have been flops. In January, Evan Ferguson joined the ranks on loan but didn’t score a single goal and was only afforded eight outings in an anonymous period at the London Stadium.

Not only is the transfer window a chance to improve but it’s a chance to show intent too. West Ham fans need to be reminded that the club has ambition and Premier League rivals could do with seeing that too.

The Hammers have been linked with transfer interest in highly rated Koni de Winter. The Genoa defender is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects at 22 years old and would be a marquee signing.

Hammers should spend Premier League prize money on Spurs transfer target

De Winter has been compared with Manchester City legend and compatriot Vincent Kompany thanks to his playing style and is aware of the similarities. He told The i Paper: “All my life I have been told I play like Vincent Kompany.

“I have this ability to make runs with the ball like he did, I have the same technical side. It’s a really big name, so I one day hope to be able to live up to him. You look at the other big names [Belgian internationals] and it is only right that they ended playing up in the best competitions.”

However, La Repubblica have this week reported that Tottenham Hotspur have made the first move for the defender with a £20 million bid sent to Genoa. Spurs can offer De Winter European football, which West Ham cannot, but the Hammers must show ambition and keep up in the transfer race - having already seen Potter’s attempts to woo Lille midfielder Angel Gomes fail.

With West Ham’s final Premier League position confirmed, they are set to pocket £19.7 million. That’s significantly more than the £11.3 million Spurs will receive for coming 17th and that lump sum of money would be well invested by being sent straight to Genoa to equal that bid from Ange Postecoglou’s side. For West Ham, it’s time for action.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have finished their Premier League season after the final round of fixtures on Sunday with disappointing campaigns across north London.

The Gunners placed second in the top flight with Spurs finishing in a lowly 17th. A huge 15 places may separate the fierce rivals but they share the same feeling of a season gone wrong.

Arsenal had hoped to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title but fell well away from that race, finishing 10 points behind their rivals. Meanwhile, Spurs are still in party mode following their midweek Europa League triumph, but finished just one place above the drop zone and 28 points off the top six.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur Premier League prize money confirmed

Both clubs now focus on a summer rebuild. Andrea Berta has arrived as sporting director at Arsenal and is tasked with finding a new source of goals, while Tottenham Hotspur will hope to avoid the injury farce of this term.

Premier League clubs must work to stay within financial regulations and keep the books balanced. One aspect that helps a summer of spending is cash injected into the club by Premier League prize money and, with the table finalised, we now have a better idea of how much Arsenal and Spurs will receive.

Last season, top flight clubs received a total of £2.84 billion, which comprised of six payments through a central revenue system. For the 2023/24 season, Football 365 reports that the difference in prize money for each Premier League position was around £2.8 million.

This differs each season - it was £3.1 million in 2022/23 - but can offer a rough guide of how much each Premier League club will have injected into their finances ahead of the summer window. If the money was the same last season, the following would be given out:

Liverpool - £53.4 million

Arsenal - £53.5 million

Manchester City - £50.7 million

Chelsea - £47.9 million

Newcastle United - £45.1 million

Aston Villa - £42.2 million

Nottingham Forest - £39.4 million

Brighton - £36.7 million

Brentford - £33.8 million

Fulham - £31 million

Crystal Palace - £28.2 million

AFC Bournemouth - £25.4 million

Everton - £22.5 million

West Ham - £19.7 million

Manchester United - £16.9 million

Wolves - £14 million

Tottenham Hotspur - £11.3 million

Ipswich Town - £8.5 million

Leicester City - £5.7 million

Southampton - £2.8 million

Mikel Arteta and Ange Postecoglou reflect after final weekend

Speaking about his side’s second place finish following the win over Southampton, Mikel Arteta said: “If you cannot be the best, be the best of the rest. This season has been the toughest, and we need to value that. Understand what has taken us that far. There is not much that needs to happen to go one further.”

Meanwhile, when Ange Postecoglou was asked about the upcoming summer window, he said: “[We can push on] if we do get some good experience in the transfer window with experienced players. I'm not talking age so much as experience at this level. Every club that gets into the Champions League sees it as a chance to strengthen with players who are comfortable at that level, not stepping up to the level.”

Sunderland will return to the Premier League next season after winning the Championship play-off final against Sheffield United but the club’s success will come at a cost for Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Premier League rivals.

The Black Cats haven’t played in the top flight since 2017, having plummeted down to League One in the years between now and then. Regis Le Bris’ side came back from 1-0 down against Sheffield United at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon thanks to brilliant finishes from Eliezer Mayenda and Tom Watson.

It’s a huge day for Sunderland with promotion to the Premier League worth £220 million to the North East outfit. Sheffield United will spend at least another season in the Championship having been relegated from the top flight last year.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Premier League rivals continue to pay Sheffield United parachute payments

Should the Blades have won at Wembley Stadium, it would have been a financial boost to every team in the Premier League due to how parachute payments work. However, since Sheffield United stay in the division below, they are still due payments that would otherwise have seen around £2 million given back to each club.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire took to social media platform X ahead of kick-off to explain how it works. He wrote: “It won’t just be the fans of Sunderland and Sheffield United with an interest in the Championship Playoff final today, Premier League clubs have a vested interest too. Under Premier League rules, clubs are entitled to three years of Parachute Payments when they are relegated to the Championship, although this is restricted to two years if they had previously been promoted and were immediately relegated.

“The parachute payments are calculated as being 55%, 45% and 20% respectively of the equal share elements of the Premier League distribution to its member clubs. This works out as £48m, £39m and £17m for the relegated clubs over a three year period. If a relegated club is then immediately promoted, then the parachute payments it was due to receive are retained by the Premier League and given to its own clubs.

Sheffield United continue to receive parachute payments

“Burnley and Leeds United have already been promoted to the Premier League which saves the Premier League £39m and £17m in 2025/26. If Sheffield United are promoted in the playoffs at the weekend this will be a further £39m. This could result in a total of £95 million coming back to the Premier League. Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton were relegated in 2024/25 having been promoted the previous season.

“This means that the Premier League will definitely not have to pay parachute payments in the third year, resulting in a further benefit to Premier League clubs of £51 million (3 x £17m). This could take the parachute payments benefit to existing PL clubs to £146 million. It’s the most valuable match in world football not just for the two clubs competing at Wembley, who can be £190m better off for winning.”

Arsenal last faced Sunderland in League Cup action in December 2021, recording a 5-1 win at the Emirates Stadium to book a place in the semi-final. Eddie Nketiah bagged a hat-trick in that match with Nicolas Pepe and Charlie Patino also on the scoresheet.

Meanwhile, Spurs have not faced Sunderland since the 2016/17 Premier League season. There was only one goal in the two meetings that term, Spurs winning 1-0 at home thanks to a Harry Kane goal and then playing out a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero may have played his final game for the club with Ange Postecoglou confirming that the centre-back will not be in the squad to take on Brighton this weekend.

Ange Postecoglou and his side got their hands on the Europa League trophy this week and parties have followed, but the season is not quite over yet for Spurs. The final round of Premier League fixtures takes place on Sunday and Tottenham Hotspur host Brighton.

There’s nothing riding on that match for the London outfit, who sit 17th in the division. Brighton, however, will be keen to get a result and keep Brentford below them with the slim chance of Europa Conference League football being handed to eighth place.

Ange Postecoglou provides Tottenham Hotspur injury update

Brighton will be confident of getting points against a Spurs team who have spent time since the win in Bilbao celebrating rather than training. When asked about his team selection for the weekend, Postecoglou said: “We'll field a team. As I've got older, I used to be different, I think you need to celebrate your achievements properly. That was my message to the boys. Important for them as they've achieved, important for those around them and important to make experiences as memorable as possible.

“There will be a couple of absences. Romero has been struggling with his toe for quite a while so we'll leave him out and probably Sonny because his foot has still not healed. They've both sort of made a massive effort to get to the final. Bissouma got a knock in the game and he's kind of 50/50 at the moment. The rest of them, physically anyway, are ok.”

Having fretted about injury news all season, those blows will now not worry Tottenham Hotspur supporters but news that Romero will be absent is significant. The 27-year-old has been a mainstay in the starting XI when fit this season but has been linked with a move away from the club.

Cristian Romero teases La Liga transfer

The Sun last week claimed that Real Madrid are weighing up a move for the Argentine. Romero could partner Trent Alexander-Arnold in a new look back four at the Bernabeu under incoming boss Xabi Alonso.

Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the player.

Tottenham are now preparing to finish their Premier League season, facing Brighton this weekend in their curtain-closer. Spurs have enjoyed a celebratory week after winning the Europa League on Wednesday night, defeating Manchester United in Bilbao thanks to Brennan Johnson’s first-half winner.

Ange Postecoglou has delivered silverware and Champions League qualification, and that will give Daniel Levy and others a big decision to make this summer. As Spurs plot what they believe is the best path forward, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham ready to launch fresh offensive

Tottenham are said to be ready to push again to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi this summer after securing Champions League qualification. According to GiveMeSport, Spurs are preparing a new bid for the centre-back after previously falling short with a £70million swing.

Guehi may end up going for a little less than that after being allowed to enter the final year of his contract with palace, which will be on June 30. Palace know that if they cannot agree a new deal, they may be best served selling Guehi to maximise their profits this summer, though it remains to be seen whether the England international can be convinced to stay after winning the FA Cup and securing Europa League qualification with the Eagles.

Postecoglou future claim

Ange Postecoglou’s chances of keeping his job have been rated at 50/50 by journalist Pete O’Rourke “It’s papering over the cracks,” he told Football Insider. “That Europa League success is a brilliant moment for Tottenham. Champions League football will boost the finances of the club and everything else, and that’s a big thing for Tottenham going forward. Their league form has not been good enough, there’s no getting away from that.

“It’s probably about 50/50 right now, it’s given the Spurs hierarchy food for thought and obviously the fans are very happy right now. I don’t think winning the Europa League will ensure Postecoglou keeps his job. To be fair to Postecoglou, he’s been open after the match what whatever happens will happen. It’s obviously given Spurs a bit more to think about, having ended that trophy drought. But the club’s hierarchy might be thinking they might have to make a change.”

UEFA apologise

UEFA have apologised to Tottenham after the Europa League final celebrations that saw some players go without medals. It was something some eagle-eyed fans noticed during the coverage of the trophy ceremony, but UEFA say they have righted their wrongs.

A statement read: “To our great displeasure, we did not have enough medals available on stage during the trophy ceremony presentation due to an unexpected discrepancy in the player count, as more team members – including injured players – participated in the ceremony than initially anticipated. The missing medals were promptly delivered to the winning team in the dressing room, along with our sincerest apologies for the oversight.”

Tottenham will have to battle to keep hold of some of their best players this summer despite winning the Europa League. Spurs have given themselves a leg up after winning the Europa League, winning silverware and securing qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Players often jump at the opportunity to compete in UEFA’s premier competition, but there are some players with even greater ambitions. One of those could be Cristian Romero, who has voiced his displeasure at Tottenham’s lack of ambition at board level in the past.

Romero was excellent in the final, putting on a stellar display as part of a Tottenham back-line that looked unbreakable on the night. Speaking after the final, the Argentine stold Movistar: “It was a tough season for us. The truth is that we deserved to end like this because nobody knows what happens behind closed doors. But beyond everything we always put up a good fight. We had too many injuries and there was always bad talk about this team and the coach. We shut many mouths.

"Beyond that, we are very happy because we played a good game. We deserved to finish like this. In the end we closed a season that looked like it was going very badly, but we closed a great one with an European title and we are very happy with that. The things that are said outside the club I can't stop them and neither can I be clarifying all the time, because I always gave 100% for this shirt. The affection I receive day after day at the club shows me that they love me very much. I love this club very much, I achieved a very big goal," he said.

"Tottenham had not lifted a trophy for many years and I came with the mentality of making history, which is the only way to leave my name engraved. It was like that and I achieved it. So I'm very happy and now it's time to enjoy it with my teammates and my family, who I owe everything to.”

Romero ‘wants to leave’

According to a fresh report from Marca, Romero ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham for Atletico Madrid this summer. Atletico are expected to sign a new centre-back this summer, and Romero has reportedly been identified as one of their prime targets.

It’s claimed Tottenham want at least £58.8million, or 70 million euros, for Romero, although Atletico will naturally want to pay significantly less than that. Spurs may feel they are in a good position, especially with the Champions League qualification in the bag, but if Romero decides to push for an exit, Daniel Levy and Spurs may have a big problem on their hands.

Either way, it would be a good idea for Tottenham to start drafting up possible replacements for Romero ahead of the summer, when they were already likely to sign a centre-back to add further depth after a troublesome campaign in terms of injuries. Then again, Kevin Danso is likely to be signed on a permanent deal to fill one of those spots having impressed in his limited time with the club.

Tottenham Hotspur must now turn attention to the summer transfer window as a turbulent 2024/25 season draws to a close in north London. The campaign has ended with a jubilant high thanks to Europa League triumph in Bilbao.

There remain questions over the future of manager Ange Postecoglou but, even through that murky water, it’s clear to see that Spurs must invest when the window opens. The first team has been blighted by injuries this term and clearly does not have the strength in depth to fight for a spot in the top six.

The stringent Premier League financial rules will mean that any marquee signings will have to be offset by departures. The club’s prize money earnings from this season will also help boost the transfer kitty, with Daniel Levy particularly helped by the side’s impressive Europa League win.

Tottenham Hotspur should combine Premier League and Europa League winnings for mega transfer bid

Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester United in Bilbao, which sent £21 million into the club’s kitty. That combines with the £11.3 million Spurs are expected to receive if they finish 17th in the Premier League to make for a total of £32.3/26.8 million. With the £95 million equal share fund added, that’s a grand total of £127.3 million.

Spurs must use that sum of money to send a mega bid over to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. The FA Cup winners are in possession of two first team players who could come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and transform the north London team’s fortune.

The first is Eberechi Eze. The midfielder could play either on the wing or in an advanced central midfield role for Spurs, his versatility a real asset. The England international has the star quality that can win a game in an instant - as seen as he grabbed the only goal in the 1-0 FA Cup win over Manchester City at Wembley Stadium last weekend.

Writing about Eze’s quality for the BBC, former Premier League striker Troy Deeney said: “Eze is just a joke, isn't he? Loads of people in Fantasy Football, like myself, will be really happy with his two goals.

“I think at the start of the year he would've felt he'd get the move like Michael Olise. He didn't get that move and got his head wrapped around it. Now he's just developing into this special, special talent.

“He's taking games over, getting confidence. Also, looking towards the end of this season, there's an opportunity to break into this England team on a consistent basis. I would have Eze in my team over Phil Foden every day of the week.”

Crystal Palace duo could revitalise Spurs

Football Insider have claimed that Eze has a £68 million release clause in his Crystal Palace contract, which Levy could use to his advantage - although any pitch to the player will now be harder given that Oliver Glasner’s side have booked a place in the Europa League next term.

While Eze could add the ‘wow’ factor Spurs need going forwards, the club also needs defensive stability. While bidding for Eze, Tottenham Hotspur should also use their prize money to make an offer for Marc Guehi.

The centre-back has frequently been linked with a move to Spurs and is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park. TBR Football claimed last month that Guehi could be available for £40 million.

Cristian Romero is tipped to be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur and that will leave a gap to be filled. At just 24 years of age, with 132 Premier League appearances and England experience, Guehi is the obvious candidate.

The £68 million release clause for Eze and £40 million for Guehi adds up to £108 million. That’s no small fee but, with this season’s prize money, Tottenham Hotspur should look to land the double swoop.

Tottenham became the second London club to book their place in the 2025/26 Champions League on Wednesday night. Spurs defeated Manchester United in Bilbao thanks to Brennan Johnson’s first-half goal, and they ended a 17-year trophy drought in the process.

Spurs also secured qualification to next season’s Champions League, and they know they will be joined by Arsenal, who have wrapped up second place in the Premier League with a game to spare. That means we already have two London clubs in next season’s Champions League league phase, and we could yet get three, with Chelsea hoping to secure a top five finish and qualification of their own on Sunday, facing Nottingham Forest for the privilege.

Chelsea know a win will do the trick, while they can also draw, but they would need Aston Villa to draw or lose or Newcastle United to lose. With up to three London clubs in next season’s Champions League, we have rounded up all the key dates for next season’s competition.

When are the league phase matches in the 2025/26 Champions League?

Here are all of the dates for the Champions League league phase in the 2025/26 season. Arsenal, Tottenham and potentially Chelsea will play eight games in all. The dates are as follows:

Matchday 1: 16–18 September 2025

Matchday 2: 30 September–1 October 2025

Matchday 3: 21/22 October 2025

Matchday 4: 4/5 November 2025

Matchday 5: 25/26 November 2025

Matchday 6: 9/10 December 2025

Matchday 7: 20/21 January 2026

Matchday 8: 28 January 2026

Can the London clubs face each other?

No, Arsenal and Tottenham cannot face each other at the league phase of the Champions League, and that also applies to Chelsea if they make it. The earliest teams from the same nation can face each other in the Champions League is the Round of 16.

When is the 2025/26 Champions League knockout phase?

For those teams who progress to the Champions League knockout phase next season, the following dates will need to be added to their schedules, depending on how far they get:

Knockout phase play-offs: 17/18 & 24/25 February 2026

Round of 16: 10/11 & 17/18 March 2026

Quarter-finals: 7/8 & 14/15 April 2026

Semi-finals: 28/29 April & 5/6 May 2026

Final: 30 May 2026 (Budapest)

When are the 2025/26 Champions League draws?

For the English clubs who secure qualification, and we already know that includes Arsenal and Tottenham, the following draw dates apply:

League phase: 28 August 2025

Knockout phase play-offs: 30 January 2026

Round of 16, quarter-final, semi-final and final: 27 February 2026

Where is the Champions League final in 2026?

The 2026 Champions League final will take place in Hungary’s Puskás Arena. The stadium usually holds up to 67,215 people, though the record attendance is 65,114. As well as Euro 2020 fixtures, the stadium previously held the 2023 UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla and AS Roma.

Tottenham are now just hours away from taking on Manchester United in their Europa League final in Bilbao. Spurs are hoping to salvage silverware and Champions League qualification from what has been a hugely disappointing campaign.

Ange Postecoglou is also fighting for his job to boot, making this a hugely important fixture for all involved. Here we take a look at what it could be worth to Tottenham and Manchester United financially.

What is the Europa League prize money for winners and runners’ up?

In terms of upfront money, the Europa League winners will claim £5million, while both finalists have also received £5.9million for just making the final. On top of the prize money, the Europa League winners receive automatic qualification for next season’s Champions League league phase. That means a guaranteed £15.9million. Of course, that figure would rise if the winners draw or win games in next season’s Champions League, with stalemates and victories coming with extra payments, while defeats are unpaid aside from the initial qualification payment.

Tottenham have earned £26.5million in prize money from the Europa League this season, and that includes the £5.9million mentioned that teams receive for reaching the final.

Tottenham’s fitness boost

Tottenham will get forward Heung-min Son back to full fitness for the final, with the South Korean getting a first start since his injury over the weekend. He said after the game: “I feel good, a little tired, first game back, but physically I feel good and ready to go. Today, 70 minutes, it was good to get that game time in my legs. Crystal Palace as well, when I came on and played 25, 30 minutes last week. The most important thing is everybody got fit for Wednesday. I’ll be ready for Wednesday.”

On his injury, he added: "It’s been very tough to watch and not be involved. It’s one of the tough moments when you’re not actually there. The lads did a fantastic job. I was very happy because the hard work has paid off, and I was so happy to see the boys celebrating. They deserved that. The job is not finished. We have a massive job on Wednesday to do that. I believe we can do it."

On the final itself, Son continued: “As I said, our objective is to get a result on Wednesday, so let’s get everyone together on Wednesday, from now on, everyone together, one goal, together it will happen.”

United receive triple boost

Manchester United have also been handed boosts for the final - three of them, in fact. The United club site confirmed the return of three players to training ahead of the team jetting off to Northern Spain. The website stated: “Manchester United appear to have received a triple boost on the eve of the UEFA Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao.

“Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee have had spells on the sidelines in the build-up to Wednesday's big game, but all three players were spotted taking part in the team's pre-flight session on the Carrington grass this (Tuesday) morning. While their availability for the final is still to be confirmed, the fact they were involved in the portion of training captured live on MUTV is surely an encouraging sign ahead of the expected announcement of Ruben Amorim's travelling group later today.”
