Former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has been touted as the potential next Tottenham Hotspur boss as pressure continues to mount on Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian saw his side beaten 2-1 by Premier League strugglers Leicester City on Sunday afternoon. Spurs are without a win in 2025 and have picked up just one top flight victory in their last 11 showings.

Richarlison opened the scoring for Tottenham Hotspur in North London but goals from Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss made it an embarrassing home defeat for Postecoglou.

Ange Postecoglou says Spurs boos ‘hurt’

Spurs now sit 15th in the table and are just eight points above the drop zone after 23 matches. Boos rang out around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at full time on Sunday with Postecoglou acknowledging the pressure on his position. The manager said: "I'm a football manager and I get judged on results, that is the way of the world."

The former Celtic boss refused to blame his players for the poor run of form. Spurs have been blighted by a long list of injury problems this season.

When asked about the chorus of boos, Postecoglou said: "Yeah, it hurts. It hurts a lot. The players gave everything again. We are going to look at a lot of things, but in terms of effort I can't ask anymore of this group, things just didn't go our way today.

"We created some good opportunities and unfortunately things just didn't drop for us because not because the players weren't trying and that's the main thing. The players are giving everything they can. That is all we can ask for as a football club and me as a manager.

"You can analyse the goals, they were disappointing goals for us to concede, but I thought we had enough chances in the game to come out on top," he added. When you're in this situation, they are trying as hard as they can and sometimes that doesn't give you the clarity in decision making.

"You can ask is for people to do as much as they can and from my perspective I see a group of players that are giving as much as they can. I know it will turn. We'll get some players back, we were short again today, but in the next couple of weeks there's some really important players coming back that I know will help this group."

Ex Borussia Dortmund manager linked with Tottenham Hotspur

After the latest defeat, former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has emerged as a frontrunner to become the next in charge at Tottenham Hotspur. The 42-year-old left the German giants at his own request last June and has not returned to the dugout since.

Terzic has spent two spells in charge at Dortmund since hanging up his playing boots in 2013. The first tenure took place between 2020 and 2021 with the second between 2022 and 2024.

The German took his side to the Champions League final last year, only to be beaten by Real Madrid. Terzic was praised for his work in getting that far through the competition, hailed as an 'incredible' achievement by Hans-Joachim Watzke.

The Borussia Dortmund CEO defended the manager amid some criticism for his tactics. He told Amazon Prime Video: "It's incredible what Edin has achieved. Last year we were a whisker away from the Bundesliga title. Now we're going to Wembley, in the Champions League final. What more do you want in two and a half years?

"Edin is someone who works meticulously and extremely hard for the club. As a coach, it's a bit more difficult to get to the final with BVB than with Paris. That's absolutely clear. But he did it. It's a great achievement."

Former Tottenham Hotspur full-back Alan Hutton has backed Archie Gray to succeed in North London following his £40 million move from Leeds United last summer, despite a difficult first season in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old is a versatile player but has spent a large part of the season at centre-back under Ange Postecoglou due to injuries to Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero. The teenager has looked diligent in that role but has been shown up with Spurs' defensive record leaky.

Hutton, who won the League Cup with Spurs in 2008, spoke to LondonWorld via Casino Scout and urged patience with Gray. When asked what his best position may be, Hutton said: "That's a great question because when I watched him at Leeds, he played in a number of positions, even played further forward. So, I think it's about them dialling into what they see his strongest position. As a full-back, more in midfield?

"I like him at full-back because I think he's got a great engine, he can get up and down, he's got good delivery, he's got good awareness about him as well because he has played in midfield. I think all these little things help you develop into a top-class player.

Spurs told to have patience with Archie Gray

"He was bought for the future; they paid decent money for him and I think it was worth it in my opinion. I think it's just going to take a little bit of time and just the situation they're in at the moment doesn't help.

"The spotlight's on them and you're expecting him to go up against seasoned professionals, strikers, and he's playing out of position so it's not really easy for them, but I think he will be one that they'll be glad they've got a hold of for the future."

Hutton was also on hand to give his opinion on Liverpool youngster Ben Doak, as he cast an eye over the Premier League's rising stars. The 19-year-old is on loan at Middlesbrough this season and has turned heads in the Championship - so much so that Crystal Palace had been hotly linked with a move for the winger.

The Eagles saw a £15 million bid rejected by Liverpool earlier this month with Boro boss Michael Carrick desperate to keep the player at the Riverside Stadium. Doak has three goals and six assists this season.

Hutton tips Ben Doak for Premier League transfer

Crystal Palace have since recruited Romain Esse from Millwall but Hutton sent an enticing hint that a bid of the right price could still convince Liverpool to sanction a sale.

Speaking about Doak's future, Hutton said: "I think he's capable. You need to remember he's still 19; he's still developing. He's had a lot of pressure on his shoulders for a long period of time, but I think his personality can deal with it. He's broken into the Scotland national team as well; I think he's been a breath of fresh air.

"This is what he needed to do in my opinion. Go out on loan from Liverpool, get somewhere where he feels comfortable. He's playing week in, week out. He can grow physically and everything that goes along with the demands of playing regular first team football and come back a better player. It's going to be down to Slot and how he sees him. Because he's really quick. He's strong for being quite small. He can score a goal. He's got a good delivery into the box. He links up well with attacking players. I think he ticks a lot of boxes.

"Everything's going well for him at this moment in time. It just depends on if a good bid comes in and Liverpool think it's acceptable, because if they do then he will have to take it and go to another team in the Premier League.

"Then it's about him then managing that mentally and handling it. And as I said, I think he's got the attributes to do that. He's a confident young man that believes in his own ability. I'm sure if there was a chance to go and play in the Premier League, he would go and he'd grab it with both hands."

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for a Europa League clash with struggling Bundesliga side Hoffenheim as they seek a morale-boosting win that could help get their season back on track.

Spurs' campaign hit a new low on Sunday as they lost 3-2 to Everton at Goodison Park. Ange Postecoglou has a number of injury issues to contend with but there was some light at the end of the tunnel on the fitness front after Radu Dragusin, Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero were seen in training on Wednesday.

Spurs have the chance to seal a place in the top eight of the Europa League and with it earn an automatic spot in the round of 16 along with around £1m in prize money. If they finish between ninth and 24th, they will enter a two-legged play-off for a knockout stage place.

Hoffenheim have lost nine of their 18 Bundesliga games this term, winning just four times. In the Europa League, they have won just one of their six games. Spurs final league phase game is next week against IF Elfsborg who have won just two of their six games - presenting the North London outfit with a huge chance to clinch a place in the top eight.

Spurs trying to add to squad

After the loss to Everton on Sunday, Postecoglou revealed the club were working on bringing players in but nothing was close. The Australian said: "It was pretty evident before [that we need reinforcements]. Apart from Rodrigo [Bentancur], no one really is due to come back. The club is well aware of our situation and they're doing their utmost. As far as I know there’s nothing imminent, but hopefully before the end of the window something comes up.

"But I have a responsibility with the group of players I have. That’s what I have to focus on and I’m determined to get us out of this. We're asking massive jobs of 17 and 18-year-olds to try to win games for us. It's more about getting the players help, not for me. I still believe the responsibility lies with me to get this right, whatever the circumstances are. I’ve still got to steer us through with the cards we’ve been dealt."

Defensive 'target' agrees move to Turkey

Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce confirmed on Wednesday that Paris Saint-Germain player Milan Skriniar was making his way to Turkey to finalise a move. Skriniar had been linked with Tottenham, after reporter Ben Jacobs reported on X over the weekend: "Milan Skriniar remains an option for Spurs. Spurs considering an initial loan, but PSG want Skriniar's exit to be permanent."

It appears that Spurs offer of a loan was not enough for PSG to sanction a move, as Fabrizio Romano has reported that Fenerbahce's deal to sign the player is a permanent one. He wrote on X: "Fenerbahçe agree deal in principle to sign Milan Škriniar and winning the race over more than 3 clubs! Verbal agreement to sign the player on permanent deal, not loan as offered by other clubs."

Spurs have also missed out on a deal for Randal Kolo Muani with the player joining Juventus. Postecoglou said of Spurs' interest last week: "We were in... Well, it depends what you mean for in. We've been interested and were looking at a number of players. But did we get to the point where we thought he was coming to us? No."

Tottenham Hotspur turn their attention away from the Premier League for their next outing as they prepare for a Europa League clash against German side Hoffenheim.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are desperate to turn things around after just one win in their last 10 Premier League games. They sit 15th in the league, eight points above the relegation places.

They lost 3-2 to Everton in their last match, which sparked a lot of criticism for manager Postecoglou, who saw his side go 3-0 down to a team that haven’t scored more than one goal in a in their last six Premier League outings. However, their form in the Europa League this season has been better as they have won three out of their opening six matches, and sit just one place behind the top eight ‘automatic qualification’ places.

They play against a Hoffenheim side, who are 26th in the Europa League table, one point off the play-off places, so will be desperate to get something out of the game when they welcome Spurs to Germany. Postecoglou will be without up to 11 players for the game due to injury, meaning that he will likely have to make some tough selection decisions, and may have to play a couple of players out of position in order to fashion a starting XI.

There has been suggestions that the game could be postponed due to impending weather warnings for icy weather, however according to current forecasts, it looks as though it will clear up in the afternoon ahead of kick off at 5.45 pm GMT.

UEFA appoint the referee team for Spurs’ trip to Hoffenheim

UEFA have appointed Danish referee Morten Krogh for Tottenham’s game against Hoffenheim on Thursday night. He has been in charge of nine matches this season across different European leagues, including two Europa League games. Krogh has shown 37 cards this season, including two red cards, meaning an average of 4.11 cards per game for the Danish official.

Krogh’s assistants will be two further Danish officials, in the form of Dennis Rasmussen, and Steffen Beck, who have both been assistants in nine games respectively this season.

The fourth official will be Mikkel Redder, also a Danish referee. He has refereed in six matches so far this season, handing out 21 cards, including one red card. He was the fourth official in one game alongside Krogh, Rasmussen and Beck - a 2-2 draw between Anderlecht and Porto in the Europa League in November.

The Video Assistant Referee will be Dutch official Pol van Boekel, who has been a referee in nine games this season, including six games in the Eredivisie. He has handed out 15 yellow cards in those nine matches.

Tottenham Hotspur return to action on Thursday night as they hunt for a much-needed victory to boost morale and their hopes of reaching the last 16 of the Europa League. Spurs are on the cusp of the top eight and will avoid a play-off to reach the last 16 if they finish inside the positions.

Ange Postecoglou’s side lost 3-2 to Everton last weekend as a poor run of form continued amid injuries to key players. Bundesliga side Hoffenheim are up next before Spurs conclude the first phase of their European campaign against Swedish side IF Elfsborg next week.

Given their host of injury problems, Spurs boss Postecoglou said after the defeat to Everton: "It was pretty evident before [that we need reinforcements].

Patrick Dorgu transfer twist

Manchester United are in talks with Tottenham and Liverpool target Patrick Dorgu but all three Premier League clubs could be gazumped by Serie A side Napoli. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are ‘very close’ to agreeing a deal with Lecce for Dorgu. However, the picture could change if any of the interested clubs meet Lecce’s £33m valuation of the player.

GiveMeSport had named Spurs as an interested party in a transfer for Dorgu earlier this month amid injuries to Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies this season. However, it had been claimed that the £33m wanted by Lecce was more than Daniel Levy was willing to pay. The Red Devils have submitted an offer of around £23m, according to Fabrizio Romano, but that falls short of Lecce’s valuation and they are not keen to lose the player for less than they see fit.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Lecce president Sticchi Damiani said: “We met with Man United and we told them that our plan is to keep our key players, including Patrick Dorgu. We’re delighted to have Man United here to make a proposal but our target to stay in Serie A is crucial.”

Feeney signs first pro deal

Tottenham have handed 17-year-old George Feeney his first professional contract after impressing with the club’s Under-18s side this season. He has made 12 appearances, scoring twice. Feeney joined Spurs from Irish League side Glentoran in July and had been the subject of interest from Brighton, Crystal Palace and West Ham before opting to join Spurs.

Feeney, who is the son of 46-cap former Northern Ireland international Warren Feeney, made history as Glentoran’s youngest-ever goal-scorer as he scored in a a BetMcLean Cup first round victory against Dollingstown in October 2023. Feeney has represented Northern Ireland and Wales at international level. His father his Northern Irish while he was born in Wales. He also qualifies to play for England through his mother.

A Spurs statement confirmed: “We are delighted to announce that George Feeney has signed his first professional contract with the club. The 17-year-old, who joined us last year from Glentoran, has been a regular starter in midfield for our Under-18s this season. To date, he has made 12 appearances at that level, scoring twice. Prior to joining us, George made 10 senior appearances for Glentoran and became their youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted against Dollingstown in the League Cup, aged 15. On the international stage, George has represented both Wales and Northern Ireland at youth level.”

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou’s job remains under threat as his side sit 15th in the Premier League table after a 3-2 defeat to David Moyes’ Everton last weekend.

Spurs went 3-0 down to the Toffees, who had previously failed to score more than one goal in their last six Premier League matches. Despite mounting a late comeback, with two goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison, it wasn’t enough for Postecoglou’s side to rescue a point at Goodison Park.

It has left the Spurs boss under considerable pressure, after what has been a torrid first half of the season. They haven’t won in their last six Premier League matches, and are now eight points away from the relegation zone.

Sky Sports have reported that Postecoglou still has the full backing of the board, despite their low league position, however, it has been claimed that recent comments from the Tottenham boss won’t have done himself any favours.

Postecoglou’s “urgency” transfer comments could push Daniel Levy to make decision

After the 3-2 defeat at Everton, the Spurs manager made a comment in his post-match interview, where he suggested that the club needs more “urgency” in the transfer window, in order to bring reinforcements in.

Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Spurs owner Daniel Levy won’t take well to those comments. He said: “I don’t think Daniel Levy is particularly happy about that. From what I hear, he looks at things like that as a personal slight against him.

“Postecoglou must know the club’s attitude towards transfers, and he’ll be aware about what is or isn’t happening behind the scenes there. So speaking out about things as he has done, isn’t going to do him any favours.

“There’s already pressure on his position because of the results on the pitch, he doesn’t need to add to that by publicly talking about their transfer business – or lack of it. It’s obvious he wants new players to suit his style, but ultimately if things aren’t working you’ve got to be the one to change them, you can’t just rely on the transfers.”

Tottenham linked to several attacking talents in January window

Postecoglou is desperate to bring some new players into the team amid his squad’s injury struggles this season. They have been previously linked to PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani, however, he looks set to join Juventus.

Meanwhile, recent reports have linked Spurs to signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who has also attracted interest from Chelsea in recent weeks. Garnacho could be sold by United in order to generate ‘pure profit’ to help in accordance with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules.

It has been said that Tottenham could tempt United to sell Garnacho with a fee of around £60m. He has made 21 Premier League appearances so far this season, scoring three goals and contributing one assist. Furthermore, Spurs have also been linked with Sunderland star midfielder Jobe Bellingham, who has also attracted interest from North London rivals Arsenal, and Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur turn their attention away from the Premier League this week as they look to get back to winning ways against Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in the Europa League. The German club are five points behind Spurs in the table with two games remaining.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have been ravaged with injuries this season, leading to what has been a very poor spell of form. His side lost 3-2 to Everton in their last match, leaving them 15th in the Premier League table.

They face a Hoffenheim side, who are 15th in the Bundesliga, and under serious threat of relegation, just three points off the bottom three. Here is all the latest injury news regarding both teams ahead of their meeting at the PreZero Stadium on Thursday evening.

Hoffenheim injury news

The German side’s injury situation isn’t much better than Spurs’ as they could be missing up to seven players for the game on Thursday night. Firstly, centre-back Ozan Kabak is set to miss the game, due to an ACL injury that he has been recovering from since July - he is yet to feature this season for Hoffenheim, and likely won’t for some time. Striker Ihlas Bebou will also miss the game as he underwent knee surgery in August, he is still recovering.

Centre-midfielders Grischa Promel, and Umut Tohumcu will both miss the Spurs match due to injury. Promel is dealing with an ACL issue that he has been recovering from since September. Meanwhile, Tohumcu’s injury is less severe, it is an ankle issue that he’s been recovering from since December. Left-back Christopher Lenz will also miss the game, as he is recovering from a calf injury that he suffered in October. So will winger Marius Bulter, who is dealing with an issue to his hamstring that he suffered in November.

Hoffenheim have one player that is recovering from an injury, but could make Thursday’s game should he do well in training this week. Diadie Samassekou, who plays in midfield, suffered a minor muscle injury in a recent game against Bayern Munich. He could return for the game against Spurs this week.

Hoffenheim players ruled out: Ozan Kabak, Ihlas Bebou, Grischa Promel, Umut Tohumcu, Christopher Lenz, Marius Bulter. Hoffenheim players in doubt: Diadie Samassekou

Tottenham injury news

Tottenham could be missing up to 11 players for the game on Thursday night, which will mean that Ange Postecoglou will have some tough selection decisions to make. Firstly, goalkeeper Gugleilmo Vicario will miss the game as he is still dealing with an ankle fracture that he played 60 minutes with in Tottenham’s Carabao Cup win against Manchester City

Dominic Solanke is also going to be out after he suffered a knee injury ahead of the game against Everton, he is expected to be out for an extended period of time. Postecoglou said: “We're hoping that it is not too serious, but it will certainly keep him out for a few weeks.”

Furthermore, full-back Destiny Udogie remains out injured with a hamstring issue which should keep him out until February. Winger Brennan Johnson is also expected to be on a similar timeline to Udogie as he is dealing with a calf issue that he suffered in the North London derby against Arsenal. Timo Werner is also out, leaving Postecoglou with just Richarlison as a striker option for Thursday night’s match. Rodrigo Bentancur will also miss the game, as he is dealing with a concussion that he suffered in the game against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.

Centre-back pair Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have also been ruled out of the game against Hoffenheim, however they could be set to return for Spurs’ Premier League meeting with Leicester at the weekend. They both have hamstring injuries. Wilson Odobert is also out for the game on Thursday due to him recovering from a long term hamstring injury which forced him to have surgery in November.

In terms of Spurs players that could return for the game against Hoffenheim, goalkeeper Fraser Forster could be back after he has been recovering from an illness for the past two weeks. Although Postecoglou may opt for new signing Antonin Kinsky instead.

Midfielder Yves Bissouma could also return on Thursday as he has been recovering from a knock that he picked up in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal. If he does miss Thursday, Bissouma should be available for Sunday’s game against Leicester City.

Tottenham players ruled out: Guglielmo Vicario, Dominic Solanke, Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Rodrigo Bentancur, Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Wilson Odobert. Tottenham players in doubt: Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a promising boost in their pursuit of Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling with news that the London outfit are the most likely Premier League side to compete with RB Leipzig for the 18-year-old.

Late last year, The Daily Mail had named Newcastle United and Liverpool as interested parties in the midfielder, who is enjoying a breakthrough season at St Mary's Stadium. Dibling had previously spent time in the youth academies at Chelsea and Exeter City.

The Saints have managed a dismal six points in the Premier League so far this season but Dibling has stood out as the big positive from the campaign. The player's four goals and two assists across all competitions only scratch the surface of a talent who has turned heads with is pace and flair.

RB Leipzig courting Southampton talent

German giants RB Leipzig have had their interest piqued by the teenager and are knocking on Southampton's door this month. The Bundesliga side appear to be early frontrunners but, in a fresh update today, Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg claimed that Spurs are real contenders.

Taking to social media platform X, Plettenberg wrote: "Tottenham are currently the biggest competitor for RB Leipzig in the race for Tyler #Dibling as exclusively revealed today.

"Southampton have rejected all offers so far and want to extend the contract beyond 2027. Leipzig aware of the strong competition, especially from England but pushing to sign the 18-year-old super talent from Southampton. Dibling is currently injured and is expected to be fit again in a few weeks."

The Saints will be desperate to keep the talent as they look to pull off a miraculous escape from relegation under new manager Ivan Juric. The South Coast club sit bottom of the table, 10 points adrift of safety.

Spurs may have pushed ahead of Newcastle United and Liverpool in the transfer race but must still compete with Leipzig, although could be helped by the player's personal preference over his future. TeamTALK claims that Dibling is 'very keen' on a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and that Spurs have been 'putting in the graft behind the scenes' to build that relationship.

Tyler Dibling tipped to achieve ‘something special’

Speaking on Match of the Day in December, former Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Murphy tipped Dibling to go on and achieve big things in his career. The pundit said: "It is the quality he has got - the belief in himself and the physical power. He just goes past people with ease. He has got a lovely left foot. He is very brave on the ball and his decision-making is good.

"It is difficult to get too over the top with these young players, because he has just come on to the scene, but he is going to be something special. It is great for him getting all these minutes at Southampton. They are giving him the freedom to play and giving him time to learn the game.

"He is just enjoying himself and he is playing with a real belief in himself. He is just instrumental in this team."

Manchester United are set to open talks with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool target Patrick Dorgu ahead of a potential January transfer.

It appears that the Red Devils have outmuscled Spurs to becoming frontrunners to complete a deal for the Lecce full-back, just hours after Ruben Amorim labelled his squad the "worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United".

GiveMeSport had named the North London outfit as an interested party in a transfer for Dorgu earlier this month amid injuries to Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies this season. However, it had been claimed that the £30 million wanted by Lecce was more than Daniel Levy was willing to pay. Liverpool are another Premier League club said to be looking at the player amid question marks over the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Man Utd deliver Spurs and Liverpool transfer blow

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano took to social media platform X on Monday to provide an update on the transfer saga. He said: "Manchester United are set to open formal talks with Lecce for Patrick Dorgu, no bid has been sent so far. As exclusively revealed two weeks ago, he’s high on list as Kerkez and Nuno Mendes are still too expensive. Dorgu, 100% keen on move… Lecce want around €40m."

The 20-year-old Danish defender has turned heads with his Serie A performances, having began his career at the well-respected FC Nordsjaelland. The player is being viewed as a less expensive alternative to Bournemouth man Milos Kerkez and Paris Saint-Germain defender Nuno Mendes by Manchester United.

The Red Devils have had their own injury concerns this season with Luke Shaw missing most of 2024 due to hamstring and calf injuries. Tyrell Malacia has also been linked with a move away, highlighting the need to invest in the full-back position.

Spurs are in need of defensive reinforcements too, but are somewhat restricted when it comes to spending money having invested heavily last summer. The club splurged on Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert, with Anotinin Kinsky already arriving in January for £12.5 million.

Ange Postecoglou provides transfer update

In the 3-2 defeat to Everton on Sunday, Ange Postecoglou was without Micky Van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Guglielmo Vicario and Udogie at the back. Speaking after the game, the Aussie refused to blame injuries for his side's poor run of form.

He said: "I have never played the victim. At the end of the day, I still believe the responsibility lies with me to get this right and that is where I sit with things. Whatever the circumstances are and it is fair to say it is a challenging situation for sure a lot of it is out of your control as a manager when you lose the amount of players we are at the moment.

“But I still have to steer us through and if I start worrying about myself and the cards I have been dealt with it is a dereliction of my duty and my responsibility. It is not how I see it. I see it as these are the cards I have been dealt and it is up to me to get us out of it and I have to be good enough to do that."

When asked about transfers, he added: "As I said during the week, I'm sure, like everybody, the club's well aware of our situation and they're doing their utmost. As far as I know at the moment, there's nothing imminent, but you know, I assume between now and we're getting to the end of the window that hopefully something comes up."
