Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 2-1 away at rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their latest Premier League clash on Wednesday night. They weren’t able to find an equaliser against the Gunners in the end.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are currently sat in 13th place in the table after a tough season so far. They are back in action this weekend against Everton away on Sunday at Goodison Park.

Tottenham Hotspur target Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur have lodged an ‘enquiry’ about the availability of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to FootballTransfers. The report adds that the London outfit may be prepared to test the player’s current club with an offer of around £60million.

Garnacho, 20, has also been linked with Atletico Madrid this winter, as per talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook on X. He hasn’t been a regular starter for the Red Devils since Ruben Amorim took over from Erik ten Hag an is also a target for Serie A side Napoli. United would have a decision to make if a bid came in for his services. The Argentina international has made eight caps for his country to date.

Garnacho has made 29 appearances in all competitions so far in this campaign, 18 of which have come in the league, and he has scored eight goals. He is under contract until June 2028 meaning there is no pressure to let him go just yet. He has been on the books of United since joining them as a teenager back in 2020. Prior to his move to England, he had spells in Spain at Getafe and Atletico Madrid.

The Madrid-born man made his first-team debut back in 2022 and has since gone on to play 114 matches for his current club altogether, finding the net on 23 occasions. He has won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in the past under former head coach Ten Hag but his future is up in the air.

What next for Tottenham Hotspur?

Spurs could see Garnacho as someone to bolster their attacking ranks. Freshening up their attacking ranks would help them going forward but time will tell whether they make an official bid in the near future.

Speaking after their defeat at Arsenal, Postecoglou said: "Not good enough, especially the first half. Way too passive, allowed Arsenal to take control of the game. Really disappointed with the way we, both with and without the ball, allowed them to dictate the tempo and paid a price for it. The second half was a little bit better but nowhere near good enough."

On the chances of their form turning around, he said: "You've got no choice. There's no magic cure. You've got to get up tomorrow, work hard and go into Sunday (at Everton) and prepare to go into battle and turn around our fortunes and our season. There's nothing magical that's going to change it. There's always reasons for all these things to happen, but the reality is that our results and our form in the league has been nowhere near good enough. That needs to change."

Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani has reportedly snubbed interest from Tottenham Hotspur and their Premier League rivals Manchester United after agreeing personal terms with Serie A side Juventus.

Reports relayed by Get French Football News claimed that Spurs were “on the verge” of completing a deal for the player earlier this week after bidding to bring the forward on loan with an option to make the move permanent come the end of the season. RMC Sport in France reported that Kolo Muani had agreed on personal terms with Juve while the Italian club has struck an agreement with PSG for a loan move but there is no option to make the deal permanent once the loan concludes.

According to Metro, Manchester United had been interested in the forward alongside Spurs. Tottenham already spent £65m to bring Dominic Solanke to North London in the summer although Timo Werner has seen his game-time limited after his loan spell was extended until the end of the 2024-25 campaign. The German forward has picked up an injury, which was the reason for his absence against in the 2-1 loss against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Kolo Muani ‘swayed’ by Motta

Tottenham reportedly did “everything in their power” to convince Muani to move to North London but Juve manager Thiago Motta convinced the forward to move to Turin. Motta has connections with PSG having won five Ligue 1 titles with the club before hanging up his boots. He also coached the club’s Under-19s side.

Kolo Muani had been deemed surplus to requirements at PSG with a number of clubs from across Europe interested in the striker. The player had previously been determined to fight for his spot as he said in November: “No, I never tried to think about that. I have to continue to work, show what I can do and give my all. I must not give up. If you give up, it’s over, you sink.”

Speaking about the player’s situation earlier in the season, PSG boss Luis Enrique was asked if Kolo Muani was in his plans and replied: “I count on all the players in my squad. Then, as I’ve already said, my decisions come from the matches and the coaches. A player who doesn’t play much can turn things around with training. I have no problem giving or withholding playing time depending on what I consider best for the team.”

Career so far

Kolo Muani came through Nantes academy and was handed his Ligue 1 debut in 2019 by manager Vahid Halilhodžić. In the 2019-20 campaign, he scored nine goals in 37 appearances along with a decisive goal which kept the team up in the relegation play-off against Toulouse. He helped Nantes to a ninth-placed finish in the 2020-21 campaign with 12 goals in 36 league games and was a catalyst for club’s success as they lifted the Coupe de la Ligue for the first time in their history by defeating Nice. He then made the switch to reigning Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt.

He scored a remarkable 26 goals and provided 17 assists for Frankfurth in 50 appearances to earn a £76.4m move to PSG in the summer of 2023. In his first season he struggled to impress with six goals in 26 appearances with Kylian Mbappe and Goncalo Ramos both being preferred in attack. After Mbappe’s departure Kolo Muani was expected to emerge as the main man in the capital, but so far has struggled for regular game time, with midfielder Marcos Asencio instead often playing as a false nine.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Alfie Dorrington has spoken out for the first time since leaving the North London club this week to spend the back half of the season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.

The transfer was confirmed with Monday after the 19-year-old was an unused substitute for Spurs in their 3-0 victory at Tamworth in the FA Cup on Sunday. The England youth international arrives at Pittodrie in search of regular game time having broken through at Spurs this season.

Dons boss Jimmy Thelin appeared pleased with the coup. He said: “Alfie is a really exciting young prospect who recently made his debut for the Tottenham Hotspur first team. He has good speed, stature and good ability on the ball and his arrival will further strengthen our options at centre-back.

“We believe this will be an environment in which he can continue to grow and gain some invaluable match experience in a really competitive league.”

Aberdeen loan Spurs centre-back

The youngster completed his first training session with Aberdeen on Monday, wasting no time in getting involved with the Scottish side, who travel to Rangers in league action on Wednesday night. Speaking to the club website after that session, Dorrington said: “It’s amazing to finally be here. Everyone has been so welcoming; it feels like home already. I know it’s a big Club with a lot of history and the supporters are really passionate so it was a no brainer for me.

“As soon as I spoke to the manager and heard about what he wants to achieve here I just wanted to get up here as soon as possible. I believe the way he wants to play will suit my style and he just wants this to be the best part of my career. It’s my first loan so I want to start as many games as I can, work hard and I hope I can repay the faith the manager has shown in me.”

Aberdeen sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership after 22 fixtures this term but have been porous at the back compared to their rivals. The club has conceded 30 goals so far this season and that has left head coach Thelin looking to strengthen in defence following injuries to Favin Molloy and Jack Milne. The outfit has already signed Kristers Tobers and Jeppe Okkels during the window.

Ange Postecoglou hoping for Tottenham transfer business

Dorrington made his first team debut for Spurs last month against Southampton, having been in the academy since 2018. His departure comes as somewhat of a surprise with Ange Postecoglou struggling for options at the back this season due to injury.

Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero have been sidelined for extensive periods, with Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie also nursing injuries. Tottenham are still expected to recruit in that position this month. Speaking about the club's transfer strategy, Postecoglou said: "Like I said a while ago, we've been planning. A lot of it was going to be around where we're at around this time. Fair to say, we're still a little bit short in a couple of areas and we need to reinforce. January's trickier in terms of what sort of players you can bring in.

“For us, ideally, for any club, I guess, you want to bring in people who are going to make you stronger. I think the fact that, obviously, we're still in the Carabao Cup semi-final, still got Europe, FA Cup, we're in all the competitions, it's not like our schedule's going to ease up at any stage. So, I think it makes sense. We will try and reinforce, where and what number we'll have to wait and see."

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has claimed that he’s a better player than both Dominic Solanke and Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins.

Parrott, 22, was sold by Spurs to Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in the summer transfer window for a fee of £6.7m after he’d spent several years out on loan spells from Spurs. The Irish striker came through the academy at Tottenham, before having several Championship loan spells with Millwall, Ipswich Town and Preston North End.

His best season in English football came in the 2021/22 season for then-League One side MK Dons. He scored eight goals and contributed seven assists in 41 appearances for the Dons. Speaking during an ESPN Netherlands video on X, Parrott was asked whether he was better than specific Premier League strikers, he claimed to be a better player than current Tottenham attacker Dominic Solanke, and England international Ollie Watkins.

However, Parrott did admit that he thinks Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is better than him. Isak has been linked with a move to North London rivals Arsenal with a reported £115m price tag set by the Magpies.

Having been sold in the summer, Parrott only made four appearances for Tottenham’s first team but had featured heavily for their U18s and U21s during his time in North London.

How does Parrott compare to Dominic Solanke this season?

Parrott was tipped to be the next Harry Kane at Spurs, however, it didn’t work out for the Irishman, who has began his career in the Netherlands with a positive start at AZ. So far, the 22-year-old has scored 11 goals, and contributed three assists in 25 matches for the Eredivisie side. Not a bad return from the Irishman, who will hope to prove those at Spurs wrong, for letting him go for just under £7 million.

Tottenham needed a long-term replacement for Kane, so they opted for Bournemouth striker Solanke, who they paid £65m for during the summer transfer window. Since then, the England international has had a similar start to Parrott at AZ in terms of his numbers for Spurs.

Solanke has made 28 appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s team, scoring 11 goals and contributing six assists. He has the same number of goals as Parrott and three more assists. With no disrespect to the Eredivisie, however, Solanke has been playing in the Premier League, with a higher degree of difficulty.

Tottenham linked to transfer move for additional attacker

Despite the success that Solanke has seen at Spurs so far this season, they have been linked over a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour with Luis Enrique and looks set to make either a permanent transfer, or loan move, during the January transfer window.

Spurs have been linked with signing the 26-year-old this month, despite the fact that Serie A side Juventus look to be the frontrunners to land his signature, as they are pushing to get a deal done with PSG.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will meet for the second time this season for what could be an intriguing North London Derby on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners lost on penalties to rivals Manchester United in their last match in the FA Cup third round, after they failed to score a winner in a 60-minute period against a 10-man United team after Diogo Dalot was sent off in the 61st minute. Arsenal sit second in the Premier League table, six points away from league leaders Liverpool, who also have a game in hand over Mikel Arteta’s side.

Meanwhile, Spurs beat non-league side Tamworth 3-0 in extra time in their last match, in what was a potential banana skin fixture in the third round of the FA Cup. It was their second win in a row after a 1-0 victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg. In the first North London derby this season, Arsenal won 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in mid-September, after a Gunners corner led to a Gabriel goal to give the away side the bragging rights.

Both teams come into the game with inconsistent form, and they will both be hoping to get the better of their close rivals on Wednesday night under the lights at the Emirates.

Premier League appoint referee and officials for Arsenal vs Spurs

The Premier League has appointed Simon Hooper to be the referee for the North London derby, which could be a fiery affair for Hooper to deal with. He has been in charge of 16 matches so far this season, including 12 Premier League fixtures. Hooper has shown 74 yellow cards and two reds, he was last seen during Brighton’s 4-0 FA Cup win against Norwich City, when no cards were handed out at Carrow Road.

Hooper’s assistants will be Adrian Holmes and Simon Long, who both worked as a team with Hooper during Newcastle United’s 2-0 win against Manchester United at the end of December. Peter Bankes has been appointed as the VAR, he has officiated in 16 games this season, showing 66 yellow cards and two red cards. He was last seen in charge of Tottenham’s 3-0 FA Cup win against Tamworth on Sunday afternoon.

Hooper involved in previous Tottenham controversy

Hooper was the man in the middle last season when Spurs dramatically and controversially defeated Liverpool 2-1. In the game, Luis Diaz had a goal ruled out for offside by the linesman, VAR checked the decision but a miscommunication meant they confirmed the on-field decision as opposed to overturning it with clear evidence the Liverpool winger was onside. The Reds also finished the game with nine men after Curtis Jones was shown a straight red card after Hooper was recommended to check a tackle from the Liverpool midfielder. He also showed Diogo Jota a second yellow card as a Joel Matip own goal in stoppage time won the game for Spurs.

Liverpool manager at the time Jurgen Klopp suggested the game should be replayed while Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said it was unlikely he’d have allowed the visitors to score after the Diaz goal was wrongly ruled out. He said: “I just don't see that. If we want managers to be the arbiters of these kind of things... we've got pretty hefty responsibilities at our football clubs but we're not the custodians.

"I wouldn't make a decision that could potentially send a club down on the back of what my beliefs are. In that moment, if somebody could tell me that they could explain everything that went on within the prism of 30 seconds... I have to make a decision and it wasn't going to happen. It's different if it's something clear. It was a bad error through a lack of communication but it wasn't something that was easily explainable. If it was easily explainable, I would assume there would have been more uproar than there was."

Tottenham Hotspur defender Alfie Dorrington is undergoing a medical at Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen this morning ahead of a potential loan move this month.

That's according to Football Insider, with the outlet claiming that the 19-year-old is putting 'the finishing touches to a loan move'. Dorrington will play for the Dons over the second half of the season.

Spurs defender set for Aberdeen move

Aberdeen have already signed Kristers Tobers and Jeppe Okkels during the window and now Dorrington will move to Scotland in the search of first team experience. The teenager has been in the Spurs academy since 2018 and made his first team debut against Southampton last month. He is under contract in north London until 2026.

Speaking after his debut, Dorrington said: “It’s an honour, a true honour. I’ve watched so many of those players, now I’m part of it. It’s funny when I was a young boy, I didn’t even think of being here on a day like this. I just enjoyed playing football. Now, I’ve come on and made my Premier League debut for the team I grew up watching. It’s unbelievable, really.

“My whole family are Spurs. My brother’s mates were here. They live in Dubai, they are close family friends and they’re over for Christmas. That worked out perfectly! A few friends were here as well. For them to be here when I made my debut, that was special.

“It’s amazing to think I started in the Academy with the Under-13s, straight from Sunday league, five years ago now. I’ve been around the squad, been on the bench a few times, but never actually came on. It’s about being patient. It’s about being patient, but this shows you can do it.

“Then the moment comes... it felt like I was on the touchline for ages, excited, just waiting to get on. I was thinking, ‘this is what I’ve worked for my whole life’. I just want to thank all the coaches who have been involved in my journey here and elsewhere and my parents for believing in me, taking me to all those games when I was younger.”

Tottenham Hotspur have been short of options in defence themselves with injuries to Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero, as well as Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie. That may make the loan departure of Dorrington a surprise, but Postecoglou had already outlined that decision.

Ange Postecoglou outlines Tottenham transfer strategy

The Aussie previously said: “Alfie is training with us and he has been around the first-team squad and part of the first-team squad.

“He had a pretty significant injury which kept him out of football for quite a while. But he is part of the squad and he probably needs to get some game time so we will look for a loan for him.”

Tottenham are reportedly eyeing a Championship player as they look to add further depth during the January transfer window. Spurs have seen their top four hopes ruined by injuries this season, with Ange Postecoglou hit with injury blow after injury blow.

Some of the absent players are due back shortly, with Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies all set to return, while Richarlison is also due back having spent much of this season out through injury.

But Postecoglou won’t want to find himself in this situation again, and Spurs are on the lookout for new signings this month, hoping to add depth to key positions. They have already done so at goalkeeper and out on the wing, with Antonín Kinský and Yang Min-hyeok snapped up so far.

Reports are now suggesting that Spurs may sign a striker to add cover for Dominic Solanke, with Tottenham having heavily relied upon their lead striker so far this season. Richarlison is the only other obvious option in that central attacking role, but he has missed much of the season through injury, while Timo Werner has also played there, albeit in more of a false nine role.

According to Fichajes, West Brom forward Josh Maja is of interest, with the striker having scored 12 goals in 26 league appearances this season, also assisting twice. Maja does have Premier League experience with Sunderland, also spending time on loan with Fulham when he scored against Arsenal in a 1-1 draw in 2021.

West Brom won’t want to lose their top scorer, and indeed the Championship’s second top scorer, at this stage of the season, currently sixth despite recently losing manager Carlos Corberan. Though, Tottenham may be able to force a deal with the right offer. Maja is currently under contract until 2026, which does provide an opportunity for interested clubs.

Rooney’s praise

During his time with Plymouth Argyle earlier this season, Wayne Rooney praised Baggies goalscorer Maja, saying: “Josh Maja’s an interesting player. He’s difficult to prepare for. He drops in almost into a false nine position.

“When you have a player who’s confident and scoring goals, he always seems to get that one opportunity and make the difference.”

The fixtures continue to come thick and fast for Tottenham Hotspur but Ange Postecoglou will not be afforded much luxury when it comes to rotation with a long injury list in North London.

Ahead of a weekend of cup drama, LondonWorld looks at the latest Spurs injury news and potential return dates.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Play was stopped for 10 minutes against Liverpool on Wednesday night as the midfielder suffered a worrying head injury. The player has now confirmed he is 'all good' but will no doubt miss out this weekend as we await an official update. A Spurs statement at half time confirmed: "We can confirm Rodrigo is conscious, talking and will go to hospital for further checks."

Possible return date - Unknown

Fraser Forster

The back-up shot-stopper is only sidelined with an illness rather than an injury, but it appears to have hit Forster bad. Posgecoglou confirmed that the goalkeeper was 'still bed-ridden and struggling with it' ahead of the Liverpool clash and the 36-year-old did miss out.

January signing Antonín Kinský found himself in the Spurs starting XI in rapid time and impressed against the Reds. Even if Forster has shaken off the bug, the Aussie could maintain faith in the new Spurs man.

Possible return date - Saturday, January 12 vs Tamworth.

Destiny Udogie

The full-back was forced off against Wolves at the end of December and is facing a number of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Providing an update about the player last week, Postecoglou said: “I think it was a hamstring. Again, like I said, we’ve been relying on a core group of players because we just haven’t had the ability to rotate so at some point it was going to catch up with us. Unfortunately, it caught up with Destiny.”

Possible return date - Sunday, February 16 vs Manchester United

Micky van de Ven

The centre-back picked up an injury against Chelsea at the start of December and has been a huge miss for Spurs. Van de Ven is now nearing a return with Postecoglou earmarking the end of January as a potential return date for the defender.

Possible return date - Sunday, January 26 vs Leicester City

Cristian Romero

Romero also picked up an injury against Chelsea in what was a double defensive whammy for Spurs. That came after the Argentine had already missed a chunk of the season with a foot niggle. He is now nursing a calf problem but is also expected back at the end of January.

Possible return date - Sunday, January 26 vs Leicester City

Ben Davies

Had been expected back at the end of 2024 but suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring problem in training. Speaking at the end of December, Postecoglou said: "No, he's ruled out. Unfortunately, he had a setback in training, so he's probably out for another couple of weeks.

"It's a similar injury, he tried to come back in training, but it didn't work out."

Possible return date - Sunday, January 19 vs Everton

Guglielmo Vicario

The cause of all the goalkeeper fracas was an injury to Vicario, sustained in the win over Manchester City in November. The shot-stopper underwent surgery on a fractured ankle in December and is now working his way back to fitness.

Postecoglou said: “It’s going well. Typical Vic. He’s pushing every boundary. He’s still a fair bit away, but whatever timeline it is he’ll make sure he’s back as soon as possible. He’s still very much around the group. You saw him last night. He’s at training every day. He’s one of the leaders, and he’s progressing well.”

Possible return date - Unknown

Richarlison

The Brazil international is back in training following a hamstring injury and getting very close to a return to first team action. However, Postecoglou is being cautious with rushing the former Everton man back into the team. He said: “Richarlison is training but we want him to have two solid weeks of training so if he gets through next week he will be fine.”

Possible return date - Sunday, January 19 vs Everton.

Wilson Odobert

The summer signing hasn't played since the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in September and is a long term absentee. Odobert suffered a 'serious' setback in his recovery last year.

A club statement released on November 16 read: “We can confirm that Wilson Odobert underwent surgery to his right hamstring yesterday. The 19-year-old will continue to be closely monitored by our medical team to determine when he can return to training."

Everton have confirmed today that manager Sean Dyche has been sacked from his post at Goodison Park with ‘immediate effect’ after an underwhelming first half to the season on Merseyside.

The Toffees sit 16th in the top flight after 19 matches, just one point above the relegation zone. Everton are four points behind London outfit Crystal Palace in 15th place, but do have a game in hand on the Eagles. West Ham are six points clear of Everton in 14th.

Everton face Peterborough United in the FA Cup tonight before taking on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday. It’s then the visit of Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and a trip to Brighton before the end of the month.

Everton sack Sean Dyche

A club statement today read: “Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager with immediate effect. Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard and Billy Mercer have also left the Club.

“The process to appoint a new manager is under way and an update will be provided in due course. Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.”

Dyche was appointed Everton manager in January 2023 and has spent two years in the role. The Toffees finished 17th in 2023, narrowly avoiding relegation, and then placed 15th in the 2023/24 campaign.

Everton were beaten 1-0 away at AFC Bournemouth last weekend, the Cherries picking up all three points thanks to a David Brooks goal in the 77th minute. That result made it five matches without a win for the club, their last victory coming in a 4-0 win over Wolves at the start of December. That is the only top flight fixture Everton have won since mid October.

Reacting to the defeat to Bournemouth, when asked if his side were in a relegation battle, Dyche said: “No, I've never said I never anything different than the facts are the facts. At the beginning of the season there was all this noise about ‘we've had this big window and we could do this and do that, it is the last season in the Old Lady’ and all that sort of stuff. I made it clear, I said I don't know where that has all come from. I made it clear at the beginning of the season, I made it clear at the end of last season, because you were there when I said, ‘by the way, there is miles to go with this story’.

“There were miles to go and there still is. The new ownership will bring stability, they have made that clear. And over time they'll build that. That is it. The rest of it is as it is. It is working constantly with a group of players to try and win football matches. But I tried to make it clear, everyone said they wanted the truth, I told them the truth. Then if you don’t want the truth, what do you want me to tell you? I've tried to be honest with you. You keep asking me and I keep reflecting on the truth. I've told you.”

Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei is reportedly subject to new interest from former Blues boss Antonio Conte and Napoli, who have overtaken fellow Serie A side Torino in the race for the 21-year-old.

Torino reportedly offered an initial bid to Chelsea for the Italian midfielder at the start of the transfer window with a buy-back option that the Blues are demanding. However, the two sides have reportedly hit a stalemate due to Chelsea wanting around £17m for Casadei, whereas Torino haven’t considered going above the £12m mark so far.

The former Reading midfielder is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, but has made five appearances in the Europa Conference League and one appearance in the Carabao Cup. It was initially believed that Casadei was set for a loan move away in January, however, recent reports have suggested that Torino now face competition from Napoli to sign the Italian on a permanent transfer.

According to Sky Sports Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have accelerated their interest in the 21-year-old, and have now overtaken Torino in the race for Casadei. Former, Chelsea and Spurs manager Conte is set to make a move for the midfielder with his assistant Cristian Stellini, who reportedly “really appreciates Casadei’s qualities”.

Seeing as there is said to be a stalemate between Chelsea and Torino, Napoli could come in and hijack any deal between the two clubs with an offer that is closer to Chelsea’s demand of £17m.

Casadei’s lack of opportunity this season has come as a surprise due to the fact that he spent last season with Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca on loan at Leicester City in the Championship. He made 22 appearances in the second tier, scoring twice for the Foxes.

Chelsea could sell midfield pair to Premier League rivals

Casadei isn’t the only Chelsea midfielder who has been linked with a move away this month, as both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka could be on their away out too.

Recent reports say that they are both on West Ham United’s radar. However, questions surrounding a change of manager could impact the Hammers’ transfer strategy. Both midfielders would likely prove to be short-term acquisitions for West Ham, as it is unlikely that the Blues would be keen on selling either player permanently.

Chelsea linked with ‘blockbuster’ deal for Manchester United star

As reports suggest that the Blues could sell several midfielders, they have been linked to signing one too. United, and England star Kobbie Mainoo is reportedly at a stalemate in negotiations over a new contract at Old Trafford, with his current deal set to expire in June 2027.

Chelsea are reportedly ‘leading the race’ for Mainoo who could leave either in January or the summer, should he fail to agree a new contract with United, who could make a hefty profit on the former academy graduate. The 19-year-old has been a mainstay in United’s starting XI this season when he’s been fit, making 16 appearances for the Red Devils.
