Former Premier League midfielder Emmanuel Petit has issued his verdict on Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou at the halfway point in the season. Spurs currently sit 12th in the Premier League, 12 points away from the Champions League place, and 22 points away from league leaders Liverpool after 20 matches.

Tottenham lost 2-1 to Newcastle United in their last match, a game in which they had chances to equalise and arguably win the game, however, they failed to take their opportunities at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Following a poor period of form, Petit has been critical of Spurs and Postecoglou, suggesting that the players and the manager don’t look like they have any solutions to their current issues.

He said: “We’re halfway through the season and Spurs have lost more games than they’ve won. I’m wondering why so many of their top players just don’t seem to be there anymore. Ange Postecoglou looks tired. No clue, no solution, no energy to cope with the situation. Postecoglou is responsible for some things - he has to show the right reaction and the right mentality to his players.

“The vision has to change. They’ve got the money, they’ve splashed the money on players. But, honestly, if you take every single Spurs player, would you name any of them among the best in the league in their position? [No.].”

Tottenham ownership set to back Postecoglou despite poor form

Despite the fact that Tottenham currently don’t look like a team finishing in a European football spot, the owners aren’t prepared to sack Postecoglou as of yet. Tottenham owner Daniel Levy is prepared to back the manager and won’t rush into a decision surrounding his future anytime soon. He is prepared to give Postecoglou the chance to turn things around with a solid transfer budget in January.

Spurs were one of the first teams to make a signing during the window as they have already made the addition of former Slavia Prague goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, who signed for a fee of £10m.

He was brought in to replace the injured Guglielmo Vicario, who is set to remain out until late February according to the latest injury updates. Spurs are likely to make several more signings in January as they look to strengthen their squad.

Tottenham linked with making several January transfers

Spurs have a rumoured interest in several intriguing players this month as they look to improve their depth for the second half of the season.

One name that has been linked recently is Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham - brother of England and Real Madrid star Jude - alongside both Crystal Palace and Arsenal. The Black Cats would be reportedly prepared to accept a £20m bid for the 19-year-old, who has scored four goals and contributed three assists this season.

Furthermore, Spurs have also been linked to PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has fallen out of favour at the Parc de Princes. He has been linked to several Premier League rivals including Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur today confirmed that the club had triggered a clause to extend the contract of captain Son Heung-min by another 12 months, keeping him in North London until the summer of 2026.

Spurs shared their 'delight' at that news, with the South Korean still a vital cog in Ange Postecoglou's machine at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Son has made 431 appearances for Spurs since joining in 2015 and cemented his status as a club legend.

The forward is not the only Tottenham first team star whose contract needs addressing over the coming months. LondonWorld looks at five other players currently set to leave at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur players out of contract

Ben Davies

The Welsh international has racked up 341 appearances for Spurs but has struggled for Premier League minutes this season. He remains an important squad player and has been a regular in the Europa League.

The 31-year-old signed a contract extension with the club in 2022, which is due to expire next summer. The club holds the option for another 12 months and are expected to use that.

Sergio Reguilon

The 27-year-old had become somewhat of a forgotten man having not played at all this season until mid December. The defender has since had minutes against Wolves and Newcastle United in the league, as well as Manchester United in the Carabao Cup. Reguilon spent last season on loan with Premier League rivals in the Red Devils and Brentford.

Given his involvement, it would be somewhat of a surprise to see the former Real Madrid man awarded a new deal in North London. The player signed a five-year contract in 2020 but there is talk of a potential contract termination before that date to allow him to seek a new venture as a free agent, according to The Sunday Mirror.

Timo Werner

Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in May to extend Werner's loan another season, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 campaign. The forward first arrived at the club in January and Spurs did hold the option to make his move permanent for £15 million over the summer - that option is still there for next year, but is now lowered to £8.5 million.

Spurs goalkeepers nearing end of deals

Fraser Forster

The goalkeeper has found himself in the spotlight all of a sudden this season after the injury to Guglielmo Vicario. It's become somewhat of an audition for the veteran, who signed an extension in December 2023 that expires next year. Forster missed out of the defeat to Newcastle United due to illness, throwing Brandon Austin into the starting XI.

Speaking at the time of that extension, the former Celtic and Southampton man said: "I have loved my time here so far and I am delighted to extend that. It is fantastic working for a new manager. Everyone loves him. You can see what we are producing and it is great to be a part of that."

The arrival of Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague for £12.5 million this month could factor into Spurs' thinking over their goalkeeping line up for next season too.

Alfie Whiteman

The 26-year-old is yet to play this season but has featured on the bench for a couple of the more recent Europa League fixtures, as well as against Newcastle United in the league due to Forster's illness. Whiteman only has one first team appearance to his name for Spurs, coming in a 2020 Europa League match against Ludogrets - which the side won 4-0. The goalkeeper extended his contract with the club in February 2023, signing on until 2025.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur remain in with a chance of their first piece of silverware this season as they prepare for the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

The semi-finals involve two legs with each team playing at home and away. Arsenal’s fate will be decided at Newcastle United’s ground St James’ Park where they will play their second leg. Whereas, Tottenham’s second leg will also involve an away trip as they will head to Anfield to get a shot at their first trophy since the League Cup in 2008.

Arsenal’s season has been somewhat of a success so far, as they currently sit second in the Premier League, after they drew 1-1 against Brighton in their last match. Meanwhile, Spurs lost 2-1 to Newcastle in their last game, which has left Ange Postecoglou’s team 12th in the Premier League, 12 points away from the Champions League places.

It leaves the Tottenham manager under some pressure heading into the second half of the season, however Spurs’ ownership have said that they won’t rush into a decision with Postecoglou, and want to give him the chance to turn things around.

When are the Carabao Cup semi-final second legs?

Arsenal play against Newcastle United in their semi-final, looking to get to the final of the Carabao Cup for the first time since the 2017/18 season, when they lost 3-0 to Manchester City. If they were to win the cup this season, it would be the Gunners’ first trophy since the 2019/20 campaign, their only piece of silverware under Mikel Arteta. They make the trip to St James Park for the second leg on Wednesday, February 5.

The game will kick off at 8pm, and will be available to watch on Sky Sports Football alongside ITV which is just showing the Arsenal vs Newcastle matches. Meanwhile, Spurs’ long wait for a trophy continues, and they find themselves with another opportunity this season to add to the club’s trophy cabinet. However, they will have to get past league leaders Liverpool who have only lost one match so far this season under Arne Slot.

They host the Reds in the first match and so will make the trip to Liverpool for their second leg. The game kicks off 8pm on Thursday, February 6, and will also be available to watch on Sky Sports Football.

When is the Carabao Cup final?

Last season’s Carabao Cup final marked an important day in the history of Liverpool, as it was Jurgen Klopp’s last trophy as Reds’ boss. They beat Chelsea 1-0 after extra-time thanks to a goal from Virgil van Dijk at the end of February. After the game, former Manchester United defender Gary Neville now infamously classed Chelsea as 'billion pound bottle jobs' as a youthful Liverpool side emerged victorious at Wembley.

This year, the final will be on the later date Sunday, March 16 at Wembley Stadium and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. Whether Arsenal or Tottenham will be involved in the final, only time will tell.

Tottenham Hotspur started 2025 with a controversial loss to Newcastle United in North London on Saturday afternoon as their winless run in the Premier League was extended to four games.

Spurs beat Southampton 5-0 on December 15 - a result which led to the sacking of Russell Martin - before beating Manchester United 4-3 in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup. However, defeats to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest followed while Wolves claimed a late draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their final game of 2024. Spurs took an early lead against the Magpies through Dominic Solanke but goals from Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak secured all three points for the visitors.

The first Newcastle goal was not without controversy as Joelinton intercepted a Spurs pass with his hand before it found it’s way to Gordon to score. Tottenham are currently without first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario due to injury while Fraser Forster missed the clash with Spurs due to a sickness bug. Brandon Austin made his competitive debut for the club and was named player of the match by Ally McCoist. However, Spurs have now agreed a move for a new goalkeeper with Antonin Kinsky set to join the club.

Spurs agree deal for Kinsky

Football reporter Fabrizio Romano has reported that a deal in excess of £10m has been agreed between Spurs and Slavia Prague for Kinsky. The deal has also been confirmed by Tottenham themselves, who put in a club statement: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Antonin Kinsky from SK Slavia Prague, subject to international clearance and work permit.

“The 21-year-old goalkeeper has agreed a deal that will run until 2031 and will wear the number 31 shirt. Born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic, Antonin began his footballing journey locally with FC Tempo Prague, Bohemians Prague 1905 and FK Dukla Prague, making his senior debut with the latter in July, 2020. He signed for Slavia Prague in July, 2021, and joined up with the Sešívaní’s B team, where the shot-stopper made nine appearances in his debut season. Featuring for the Czech Republic’s youth teams from Under-15 to Under-21 level, Antonin earned his first senior call-ups ahead of the 2024 October and November UEFA Nations League fixtures.

Ange Postecoglou praises Austin

Austin was on the end of some big praise from his manager after their loss to Newcastle on Saturday. The Spurs boss said after the game: "He was great, everyone was great, unbelievable, considering what we had to put up with. Radu and Archie literally got off sickbeds to play today, and Radu was shattered at half-time. Brandon, obviously we found out yesterday was playing. I can’t be prouder of the players, I’m just angry and disappointed it wasn’t football that denied them getting the rewards today."

On the sickness bug, he added: "Radu and Archie were bed-ridden all week. Fraser, he’s still bed-ridden and struggling with it, there’s a couple of others struggling. Like I said, at half-time Radu didn’t have any more to give. On Thursday, we literally had 11 fit players for training, but I don’t care about that, what I care about is the players put in an unbelievable performance, fantastic football, created chances, denied them and having to defend strongly which we did, and it’s unfair on them more than anything else that they didn’t get the rewards today.”

Tottenham Hotspur’s disappointing run of form continued on Saturday as they kicked off their first Premier League fixture of 2025. Despite taking an early lead over the in-form Newcastle United, the visitors denied Spurs a win on home soil, while Eddie Howe and his side continue to climb the Premier League table.

With Tottenham now winless in four games, Ange Postecoglou and co are taking to the transfer market for potential recruits to bolster their squad. Spurs have just 24 points on the table and are now pushing to break back into the top ten after falling significantly behind those towards the top of the standings.

With 42 goals scored so far this season, Postecoglou’s attack is far from the problem, as only leaders Liverpool have scored more at this halfway point. However, Spurs have conceded 30 goals so far and are looking for options to help tighten up their defence.

Tottenham rival Man City for defender

With 30 goals shipped so far this season following their latest 2-1 defeat to Newcastle, focus is on what can be done to improve the Tottenham backline. While it’s definitely not the worst in the table, it’s far from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, who have conceded just 17 goals each at this point. Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Fulham have also conceded less, and all three are a fair bit ahead of Spurs in the table.

Injuries have ripped through Tottenham’s backline, with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies all absent at centre-back. Destiny Udogie is also on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring strain against Wolves in one of their latest setbacks.

The January window will provide Spurs with a lifeline to recruit much-needed new options in defence. Naturally, targets won’t come easy and they certainly won’t be without rival competitors either. According to CaughtOffside, Postecoglou and co are considering signing Abdukodir Khusanov from RC Lens this month to alleviate the pressure on their injury-stricken backline.

Tottenham are fans of the 20-year-old due to his age and the room he has to develop once their own senior centre-backs return to fitness. Lens are reportedly looking for a fee in the region of €15-20 million (£12-16m) for Khusanov, who has already been capped 20 times with Uzbekistan at senior level.

While Spurs are interested in the centre-back, Manchester City are also said to be keeping tabs on the current situation. The reigning champions are having a nightmare season, ejecting themselves from the title race after a torrid run of form.

Pep Guardiola is ‘looking to revitalise his squad’ this year and City could make an opening bid of €10 million (£8m) in attempt to sign Khusanov. Based on the asking price quoted, this will likely be knocked back by Lens, which opens the door for Spurs to swoop in and table a more convincing offer.

The 20-year-old has featured in all of his club’s games so far this season apart from two in Ligue 1, which he missed due to a red card suspension.

Tottenham Hotspur appear to have been beaten to the loan signing of Atalanta defender Ben Godfrey by Premier League rivals Ipswich Town.

Spurs had been linked with interest in the former Everton man amid the injury crisis in North London, but it is the Premier League strugglers that have acted the fastest in the January window. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano took to social media platform X to tease imminent confirmation on Saturday evening.

Romano wrote: "Ben Godfrey to Ipswich Town, exclusive story confirmed — agreement done on loan deal with Atalanta. Godfrey completed first part of medical tests today and documents are now being exchanged. Here we go."

Ipswich Town to complete January transfer

The 26-year-old has been afforded just 22 minutes in the Serie A since making the move from Everton last summer and is now set to return to the Premier League. It is believed that Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has played a key role in persuading the player to join his side's fight for survival in the top flight. The Tractor Boys sit 18th in the table, one point off Wolves in 17th, after 19 matches played following their back-to-back promotions.

Former Premier League scout Mick Brown had confirmed Tottenham Hotspur loan interest in the player to Football Insider last month. He said: “There’s definitely value in signing him on loan.

“They’ll be considering how long Romero and Van de Ven are going to be out for, and if it’s a month or even two, they’ll want somebody to fill in for that time. When those two are back, they’re going to be the first choice, so there’s no point spending mega money on a new defender who you’re not going to use.

“I was told his agent has been putting his name about to talk up a move back to England. I wouldn’t have tipped him as a player to help Tottenham step forward, to be honest, he’s just not that type of player and there’s a reason Everton let him go. But they’ve got injuries in key positions and his availability makes the deal an easy one to do.

“He’s keen on it, his club are willing to let him go, and Tottenham are after a short-term fix without getting stuck with a player on a long contract who isn’t necessarily good enough.”

Carlo Ancelotti a fan of ‘really good’ centre-back

Godfrey began his career at York City before breaking through at Norwich City following a move in 2016. He then moved to Everton following the Canaries' relegation in 2020.

Speaking about transfer links with the player before that £25 million move to Goodison Park, former Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti said: “I said in the past that we are looking for a centre-back because we are short there, and Godfrey is a really good centre-back, but he is at this moment playing for Norwich, so I can’t say more."

Atalanta paid £10 million to sign Godfrey in the summer with the centre-back having seen a move to the club fall through in January 2024. He had entered the final 12 months of his contract at Everton when making the transfer.

Tottenham Hotspur are poised to agree a first January transfer in the hours that follow the Premier League meeting with Newcastle United in North London with a new face coming in between the sticks.

Slavia Prague shot stopper Antonin Kinsky has been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and that now appears to be on the verge of confirmation. It comes as Ange Postecoglou navigates life without the injured Guglielmo Vicario and an illness to Fraser Forster, highlighting the need for a goalkeeping recruitment.

Taking to social media platform X on Saturday, ahead of the clash with the Magpies, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote: "Tottenham are on the verge of signing Slavia Prague GK Antonín Kinsky, he’s in London today for medical to follow — as @infotbal reveals.

“Verbal agreement done between all parties involved including player side, Kinski should undergo medical after today’s game.

"Tottenham will spend over £10m for Antonin Kinsky as new goalkeeper, long term deal also agreed. Slavia Prague and Spurs will sign all the formal documents today after the game. Permanent move."

Postecoglou has been forced into giving 25-year-old Brandon Austin his debut against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon given the problems with Vicario and Forster. Austin joined Spurs nine years ago but has never made a competitive senior appearance in English football.

Vicario, who arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Empoli for £17.2 million, remains first choice in North London. He picked up an ankle injury against Manchester City earlier this season and underwent surgery on the problem - he is not expected to return until early March.

Postecoglou had hinted at no shot stopper incomings in January, backing the veteran Forster, but Spurs do now appear to be welcoming Czech Republic youth international Kinsky. The Spurs boss said in November: "That's not going to happen - I don't think signing a free agent now is going to help us. Fraser, I've known for a long time. He's such a strong character in the group and always ready to play.

"It's a big blow, and for him [Vicario] personally, because he was having an outstanding season for us and really growing as a leader within the group but we've dealt with setbacks before and we'll deal with this one.

Vicario not back ‘for months’

"It's not going to be weeks. It'll be months. He's had his surgery and, you know with surgery, there's certain timelines and because it's Vic... I don't like giving timelines so early in the process as something like that as it puts undue pressure on the player and some expectations. I think once we're past the rehab stage and he starts getting out [onto the training pitch], we'll have a clearer idea."

Former Spurs goalkeeper Joe Hart, who worked with Postecoglou while at the club, was working as a pundit on TNT Sports ahead of the Newcastle United match and was on hand to give his opinion on the imminent transfer.

He said: "You've got to be on the front foot. Football is a tough world. Obviously Vicario [is injured], Fraser's illness, Brandon's going to get his opportunity today, but it keeps on moving. You've got to cement yourself and you've got to perform, of course they were going to be proactive in this transfer window."

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Omar Marmoush has opened up about his future at Eintracht Frankfurt amid transfer rumours linking the forward with a January move away from the Bundesliga side.

The 25-year-old has already plundered 18 goals in all competitions this season and is in fine form. That is said to have turned the heads of Premier League sides with Arsenal supposed frontrunners to complete a deal.

That's according to GiveMeSport with the outlet claiming that the Gunners have 'leapfrogged' Liverpool in the transfer race thanks to the Reds' focus being on a new deal for Mohamed Salah. A £50 million fee is supposedly said to be enough to tempt Eintracht Frankfurt to sell their star man.

Spurs and Man Utd also scout talisman

Earlier this season, The Mirror claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United had sent scouts to watch the player in action against FC Midtjylland. Marmoush scored the winner in that fixture in front of the top flight clubs' representatives.

However, in new quotes, it appears that Marmoush is determined to finish the season at Eintracht Frankfurt. Addressing transfer rumours, he said: "There's always a lot of speculation on the outside. But I don't actually have a particular dream goal.

"What I can promise the fans is that I will give my all for Eintracht in every game. I am not thinking about a transfer. I am living in the here and now and enjoying my time in Frankfurt.

"Eintracht believed in me and put their trust in me. I want to repay that trust with good performances and goals. What happens in the distant future, however, doesn't interest me. I want to continue to do my best so that at the end of the season we can say as a team: We have achieved something big."

Eintracht Frankfurt aware of transfer interest

The club is aware of transfer interest in the player too with sporting director Markus Krosche also acknowledging the links. In November, he said that a €40 million bid would not be enough to tempt the club to sell.

He said: "Ultimately, with many players who come to us, we offer them an environment in which they can develop further - knowing full well we would let them go if they developed faster than the club itself.

"This is an agreement we make with the boys. That's why we have the opportunity to recruit so many exciting players, because they realise that they can take the next step in Frankfurt.

"Decisions like these [transfers] have to be made from a global perspective. It's not just about sporting things, but also about more - namely the club as a whole. We have a certain market value in mind for each of our players. And if a club comes along that pays this, we will let the player go too. We always try to be prepared for this eventuality."

Tottenham Hotspur have had hopes of beating in-form Newcastle United this weekend boosted by news that the Magpies will travel to London without defensive linchpin Fabian Schar.

The 33-year-old is a mainstay in the Tyneside club's defence, having only missed two Premier League fixtures so far this season due to a red card picked up in the first outing of the campaign. Newcastle United have won their last four fixtures in a row with Schar playing every minute of those matches.

The centre-back has helped his side to four clean sheets in those outings, the most recent success coming on Monday night as Eddie Howe's men beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford. While there were celebrations for that result and another shut-out, it did come with a team selection blow ahead of facing Spurs.

Premier League yellow card rule hits Newcastle United man

Schar picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 80th minute for a foul on Red Devils forward Rasmus Hojlund. Having already been cautioned against Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal, that means a one match ban for the player.

The defender had gone without a booking since the start of November but his fifth yellow comes in the 19th league match for Newcastle United. The count for yellow cards accumulated only resets after the 19th fixture, which marks the halfway point in the season.

That means that Howe will not be able to select Schar for the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Newcastle United will go into that match as strong favourites given their recent run of form, while an inconsistent Spurs have lost two and drawn one in their last three.

Attack certainly remains the best form of defence for Ange Postecoglou with the Australian's side bagging 14 goals in their last five. A Magpies defence without Schar will no doubt make the London outfit think there are more goals to be had in Saturday's early kick off.

Eddie Howe to be without ‘absolute class’ defender

Howe has readily praised Schar over 2024 and labelled the player a 'one-off' in March thanks to his ball playing ability. He said: "There won't be many centre-halves like Fabi. He is a total one-off.

"He is a very good defender. When he is absolutely concentrated and really well trained, he's as good a defender as I've seen. He reads the game really well and the amount of interceptions he makes is second to none.

"The two passes today were... Maybe the first one is slightly easier than the second one. The second one I don't think anyone in the stadium maybe saw - maybe Tino did because he's made the run and he probably knows that Fabi's capable of playing it, but two moments of absolute class."

Tottenham Hotspur last met Newcastle United in September at St James' Park with the hosts running out 2-1 winners in that clash. Harvey Barnes opened the scoring for the Magpies with a Dan Burn own goal levelling the scores shortly after half time. The prolific Alexander Isak then found the back of the net with just over 10 minutes left to play to ensure all three points stayed on Tyneside.

Former QPR and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luke Amos has taken to LinkedIn to appeal for a January transfer as he looks to leave Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

The 27-year-old joined the Edinburgh giants in January 2024, following his release from Loftus Road at the end of the 2022/23 season. Amos has made 14 appearances for the side but only six of those have come this season as he struggles for game time.

Amos has played just 17 minutes in the Premiership under David Gray at Easter Road, with that cameo coming on the first day of the season. The player is contracted at the club until the end of the season but is clearly keen to leave earlier with a lack of opportunities.

The former R's star took to LinkedIn on Monday to share his intentions. In a post on the social media platform, which included a highlight reel, he wrote: "Looking ahead to 2025 and the January window, hopeful it will provide a new opportunity!

"Things don't always go to plan but you can only control what you can control. Wishing everyone a successful and blessed 2025!"

Battle for places at Hibernian

Speaking about the lack of opportunities afforded to the player, Gray said in December: “He did pick up an injury, he picked up a problem with his calf, which has niggled at him for a wee while. He is over that now though and he's back in training and has been for a week or so.

“I'm also in a position where this is not just a slight on Luke, but there is a lot of competition for places and a lot of players on the training pitch every day, which is good because then you get competition.

“You get a lot of competition for places, it drives the standard in training. But I can only select 20 players on the matchday squad and that position is where there's a lot of competition for places.”

Amos came through the youth academy at Tottenham Hotspur but only ever made one senior appearance for Spurs. That came after the player featured in the club's 2018 summer preparations in the US.

The midfielder came on as a substitute to replace Eric Dier against Newcastle United in August 2018 to make his Premier League debut and signed a new contract later that month before picking up a season-ending ACL injury. Amos was eventually loaned to QPR in July 2019 with the R's making that move permanent the following summer. The midfielder would go on to make 95 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals.

When putting pen to paper on the permanent deal to move to Loftus Road in 2019, Amos said: “It’s really good to be back.

“Last year, I came here on loan, played games and really enjoyed the opportunity that the gaffer [Mark Warburton] gave me. For him to bring me back and to be here for another three years – I’m really looking forward to pushing on and doing well.

“It’s an amazing group here, I’ve made some really good friends – as soon as I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome. Having a good group and the opportunity to play is all you can really ask for.

"I think last year was about getting used to the level. Now that my injury is behind me and a year of Championship football is, too, I think I can kick on and show everyone what I can do. I don’t think I showed half of what I am capable of last year. Hopefully I can impress everyone this season – I’m excited to get going.”
