Report: Tottenham want to sign 27-year-old “unbelievable” star as priority target - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde in the coming months.

According to a report from Fichajes, they have identified the 27-year-old as a priority target. It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign him.

Manchester United have been linked with Valverde as well. He has been on the radar of multiple Premier League clubs since last season.

Federico Valverde could use a fresh start

He has not been an important player for Xabi Alonso, and a move to the Premier League could be interesting for him at this stage of his career. The Spanish manager seems to prefer technical midfielders.

He has previously been described as an “unbelievable” player. There is no doubt that he has the quality to do well in the Premier League, and he could be a player for Tottenham. They need more physicality and control in the middle of the park, and the South American could be the ideal fit. He is at the peak of his powers, and he could transform them.

Valverde would improve Spurs

Valverde is capable of slotting into multiple roles, and his versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham. They will have to pay a premium to sign a player of his quality. It will be interesting to see if they can convince the player to join the club.

He is one of the best midfielders in European football, and he has won several major trophies with Real Madrid. He will want to join a club where he will be able to continue fighting for major trophies.

Tottenham will have to convince the player of their ambitions in order to get the deal done.

They have done well to acquire quality players in recent windows, and adding the South American would elevate the standard of the team further. Apart from his quality as a footballer, his winning experience could be priceless.

Arsenal want Arda Guler

Arsenal are very keen on the player, and they have held talks with his representatives regarding a potential move. Report: Player’s current situation “might open the door for Tottenham” to sign him in January - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a move for the Manchester City attacker Savinho during the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has struggled for regular game time at the Premier League club, and he might need to move on in order to play more often. Tottenham are monitoring his situation, and they could look to make a move for him in January.

Tottenham to sign Savinho?

Pete O’Rourke said on Football Insider: “If he’s not playing regularly between now and January, then maybe that might open the door for Tottenham to rekindle their interest in Savinho.

“He’ll be thinking he needs to be playing potentially ahead of a World Cup year with Brazil.

“City don’t really want to lose him. I’m sure they’ll want to keep him at least until the end of the season because City are going to need Savinho between now and then and challenge for honours on all fronts as well.

“I’m sure he will get plenty of game time but, I’m sure Spurs are continuing to monitor his situation at City for sure.”

The Brazilian is not a key player for Manchester City, and it will be interesting to see if he decides to move on in January. He could be a very useful acquisition for Tottenham.

Savinho wants to be a part of the Brazilian national team for the upcoming World Cup, and he needs to play regularly at the club level. Tottenham will be able to provide him with that opportunity during the second half of the season. If Manchester City cannot provide him with the assurances he needs, it would be ideal for the player to move on.

Where will Savinho end up?

Tottenham will look to take advantage of his situation at Manchester City and get the deal done. If they can sign him for a reasonable amount of money, it could be an outstanding acquisition for them. He is young enough to improve further, and he could develop into a future asset for the club.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester City can convince the player to continue at the club. They will need to offer him regular opportunities between now and the January window.

Sources: Premier League club leading contender to sign Marc Guehi, it’s not Liverpool - CaughtOffside
Description

Marc Guehi’s time at Crystal Palace appears to be drawing to a close, with the England international expected to be at the centre of transfer drama in the upcoming January window.

After coming within touching distance of a move to Liverpool last summer, only for the deal to collapse at the final moment, Guehi’s future at Selhurst Park remains highly uncertain.

With the player close to entering the final six months of his contract at Selhurst Park, Palace are now open to offers, wary of losing their captain on a free transfer in the summer.

The England international has one goal and one assist in six Premier League matches this season for the Eagles.

Tottenham lead race to sign Marc Guehi

Tottenham Hotspur are among the leading contenders to secure his signature, sources close to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside.

Thomas Frank’s side are keen to strengthen their defensive options, and Guehi’s expiring contract makes him an attractive, cost-effective target.

Spurs believe the 25-year-old could add both leadership and stability to their backline, while the reduced transfer fee aligns with their budget for mid-season reinforcements.

However, the race for Guehi extends well beyond English football. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are weighing up January bids, with sources close to the player suggesting he is open to testing himself in La Liga.

Guehi has instructed his representatives to keep communication lines open with Real Madrid in particular.

Liverpool remain interested in Palace centre-back

Liverpool, meanwhile, remain determined to revive their pursuit. The Merseyside club see Guehi as a long-term defensive solution and are eager to make amends for the failed summer move.

Manchester City and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation, with City looking to refresh an ageing defense and United identifying Guehi as a potential successor to Harry Maguire.

Crystal Palace, for their part, have adopted a pragmatic stance. The club accepts that tying Guehi down to a long-term extension is unlikely and are prepared to negotiate offers in the region of €20-30 million, though the short length of his contract could force the eventual fee even lower.

Guehi’s impending departure from Crystal Palace seems less a question of “if” and more of “when.” With top Premier League clubs circling and both Real Madrid and Barcelona expressing interest, January is shaping up to be decisive.

Description

As the January transfer window draws closer, speculation around the futures of many young stars begins to increase, and Real Madrid’s Arda Güler is no exception.

The Turkish international has been the subject of admiration from several of Europe’s elite clubs, eager to test Madrid’s resolve. Yet, despite the noise, Real Madrid remain unwavering in their stance, Arda is not for sale.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been a crucial player for Los Blancos under the leadership of new manager Xabi Alonso.

Arda has three goals and three assists in eight games in all competitions for Real Madrid.

Arda Guler wanted by Tottenham & Arsenal

Sources close to the Spanish giants confirm that both the club and the player are satisfied with his progress.

The coaching staff, in particular, view Arda as a long-term project who can become a central figure at the Santiago Bernabéu in the coming years. That hasn’t stopped Europe’s top sides from circling.

Sources close to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside that scouts from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Arsenal, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig have all been spotted at La Liga fixtures, closely monitoring Arda’s performances.

Arsenal, in particular, have long admired the Turkish playmaker, with Mikel Arteta’s side considering a move for him as early as last season. Their continued interest shows Arda’s growing reputation across Europe.

Competition within Real Madrid’s midfield is set to become fiercer with Jude Bellingham’s return from injury.

Real Madrid have no intention to sell the midfielder

However, rather than shy away, Arda is embracing the challenge. He remains fully committed to seizing every opportunity and carving out his place in Alonso’s plans.

From a financial perspective, Madrid have made their position crystal clear, Arda is not on the market. No price tag has been set because the club see him as an investment in both sporting success and long-term strategy.

While the interest from Europe’s biggest clubs is flattering, Arda’s immediate future appears firmly tied to Real Madrid. With his fitness restored, his talent undeniable, and the club’s faith unshaken, the young Turk has every reason to remain patient.

Savinho has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent months.

The North London club wanted to sign the player during the summer transfer window, but they were not able to get the deal done. According to TBR Football, they were planning to return for him in January.

However, the player has now agreed a long-term contract with Manchester City in principle.

Guardiola has convinced Savinho to stay

According to the report, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola played a key role in convincing the player to commit his long-term future to the club. He has explained to the Brazilian attacker that he has a major role to play going forward. The Brazilian has decided to abandon hopes of a move away from Manchester City after hearing that he has the backing of the manager and that he is a key part of the club’s plans going forward.

Graeme Bailey said to TBR: “I am told that after the window closed, both Guardiola and Viana had lengthy talks with Savinho, where they underlined their belief to him that he has a major part to play.

“They have a huge belief in his talent and admiration for him as a person. Hearing the backing he has, Savinho has been persuaded that his future lies in Manchester.”

Tottenham need to move on from Savinho

The Tottenham transfer is now in jeopardy, and it will be interesting to see if the North London club decide to move on to other targets. They could use more cutting-edge in the final third, and signing a quality wide player would be a wise decision. The 21-year-old could have been a solid long-term investment for them. He is a tremendous talent with a bright future.

Meanwhile, Savinho needs regular gametime to continue his development. He will certainly hope that Manchester City give him more opportunities now. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them will be exciting for any player.

Regular football in England could bring out the best in the player and help him fulfil his potential.

Report: Tottenham make decision on the future of rising star ahead of January window - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham attacker Mikey Moore is currently on loan at Scottish club Rangers, and he has not been able to showcase his qualities so far.

The 18-year-old has struggled in the role he has been deployed in, and he is unhappy at the Scottish club. According to Football Insider, Tottenham could look to bring him back to the club in January.

Mikey Moore needs opportunities

The 18-year-old is unlikely to get first-team opportunities with the North London club, and it is fair to assume that Tottenham could send him out on loan again. Moore needs to play regularly at this stage of his career to continue his development.

Spurs should look to send him on loan to a club where he will be able to play in his preferred role. The 18-year-old is highly rated at the club, and he has a bright future ahead of him. He has the tools to develop into an important first-team player for the club with the right guidance. Spurs must handle his development carefully over the next few months.

Can Rangers keep Moore?

The Premier League side have an option to cut short his loan deal and bring him back to the club in January. It will be interesting to see what they decide over the next few weeks. Rangers are lacking in attacking depth, and they will certainly hope to keep the 18-year-old until the end of the season. However, Russell Martin will need to use him in a more favourable position to get the best out of the player.

It remains to be seen whether Rangers can get the best out of the player between now and the January window. Tottenham will hope for the best with regards to his development, and if Rangers can get the best out of the player, they might let Moore continue in Scotland.

Report: Tottenham willing to submit €60 million offer for La Liga forward - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze.

The 24-year-old joined the Spanish club during the summer transfer window, and he has done reasonably well for them so far. His performances have attracted the attention of the Premier League side, and they would be willing to offer €60 million for him, as per reports via Fichajes.

Can Spurs convince Villarreal to sell Georges Mikautadze?

It will be interesting to see if the Spanish club is willing to sanction his departure in the coming months. It is no secret that Spurs need another quality striker, and Mikautadze could prove to be a useful acquisition. He has proven his quality in France, and he has shown that he has the ability to do well in Spain as well.

There is no doubt that he has the technical attributes for the Premier League. The opportunity to join Tottenham could be an exciting one for him. It would be a major step up in his career, and he would get to play alongside top-quality players at the North London club. Tottenham have an exciting project, and they are pushing for trophies. The striker might want to be a part of that.

Mikautadze was linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

Tottenham need Mikautadze

Dominic Solanke has not been able to score goals consistently, and Tottenham need more depth in that area of the pitch. The 24-year-old La Liga striker could compete with Solanke for the starting spot. The competition for places will help both players improve.

The Georgian scored 17 goals for Lyon last season.

It will not be easy for Tottenham to convince the Spanish club to sell the player after just a few weeks of signing him. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Spurs will need to improve their squad in January if they want to win trophies this season. A quality striker could make a big difference.

Report: Tottenham eyeing 23-year-old Premier League wide player, January move possible - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Sunderland defender, Dennis Cirkin, and a move could be possible during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old left back was outstanding for Sunderland last season, but he has struggled for regular game time in the Premier League. The Black Cats have two left-backs ahead of him in the pecking order, and the 23-year-old wants to move on in search of regular playing time.

He will be a free agent at the end of the season, and Sunderland could look to cash in on him during the January window.

Tottenham keen on Dennis Cirkin

According to TBR Football, Tottenham are keen on the player, and it will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done. He knows the club well, and he could settle in quickly if he joins the North London club. The opportunity to return to his boyhood club will be quite exciting as well.

Graeme Bailey said: “On the chopping block, definitely. He’s seen two left-backs come in ahead of him this summer — Masuaku and Reinildo. As we’ve written previously, Cirkin is on Tottenham’s radar. He would fill a homegrown player slot, and Spurs like him regardless — he’s had real progression.”

Spurs could use Cirkin

He is likely to be available for a reasonable amount of money because of his contract situation. The deal could prove to be a bargain for Tottenham. They could use more quality and depth in the defensive unit, and the 23-year-old could be a useful option.

Tottenham have started the season well, and they need more quality and depth in the squad if they want to fight for major trophies. Bringing in the right players in January could help them improve further. The 23-year-old will give Thomas Frank more options to work with.

It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official proposal to get the deal done in January.

Tottenham news: Club backed to complete 2026 deal for midfielder

Tottenham poised to complete 2026 deal for 30-year-old star who wants to join - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham have made a good start to the season, having won five of their opening eight matches across all competitions. And this good form has been contributed to by summer signing Joao Palhinha.

Palhinha has been a much-needed addition to Thomas Frank’s squad, in that he is a specialist defensive midfielder. His performance have helped Tottenham look much better in defence, and Thomas Frank will hope that continues to be the case going forward.

Joao Palhinha wants to sign for Tottenham on permanent basis

There has already been talk of Tottenham signing Palhinha on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich, and according to Pete O’Rourke (via Football Insider), this will become more and more likely if the Portugal international continues to impress.

“I think there was obviously the option there for Tottenham to make that deal permanent. And the good thing for them is that Palhinha has had an instant impact since his arrival in North London. He’s even contributed a couple of goals already this season, which he’s not normally known for.

“I think his time at Bayern Munich remains very much uncertain right now. He struggled in his first season at the German club last year and obviously Bayern were willing to loan him out this year. It’s the £26m buy option in there for Tottenham and again that seems quite reasonable, the transfer fee as well.

“If he continues to make the impact that he’s had already it would be a no-brainer you would think for Tottenham to make that permanent arrangement. And I’m sure Palhinha himself will be very much interested in returning to the Premier League on a permanent basis.

“So, Palhinha right now just wants to continue focus on staying fit and enjoying his football with Tottenham. I think if he continues to become a key man in Thomas Frank’s team, I’m sure Tottenham will be more than happy to take up that option and sign him.”

It’s clear that Tottenham look a much better side than last season in part due to Palhinha’s presence, so if he continues to shine, it would not be surprising for him to stay in north London from next summer onwards.
